Vol.21 Afterword

We meet again, valued reader! These short intermissions where it's just the two of us really does feel fun, doesn't it? Kind of reminds me of Mushoku Tensei, where Rudeus gets to talk with Hitogami in a White void of clouds. Yet, it feels different. There, Rudeus is always alone with Hitogami, whereas in each visit, there's always more and more of you! I'm thrilled to have you aboard, and don't worry, I don't plan on pulling any tricks on you ~<3!

So, back to business! Lune and Issei finally made it to our world! Or is it our world? Since it's in the future, it'll be a while until we find out for sure. Writing about their time in Japan was fun, but I can't help but fear I severely messed up the experience. I don't have any money to visit the place myself yet, so for now I had to go off the internet mostly. Hopefully one day I'll be able to properly speak from experience, but that comes later.

Mei-Ahem, Ouroboras was also fun to write about. The lorebombs that get dropped whenever the Gods are at play is always interesting and gives a ton of insight for you to get a better grasp of how its all connected, but I also liked talking about those three being dumbass friends visiting Japan as three different stages. There's Issei, who was born and raised there, but hasn't been in Japan for a while. There's Ouri, who literally chose to spend his days there because it was so pleasant so he knows all the latest info Issei skipped out on. And then Lune who, of course, is the newcomer. With the three of them, it was pretty easy to accomplish all the ticks from the bucket list, at least all the important ones (looking at you, panty dispenser!)

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

Having them part ways was important though. Ouroboras is a God. He warned them ahead of time what traveling with him will result in, and it was their mistake to underestimate the Gods' wrath. Who knows what the other Gods are like if he's like this in this world? Maybe avoiding the meet on Mount Everest was the smart move, after all...

The concept of a reverse isekai is actually where TraCon started as a whole. I wanted to write a character born and raised in a fantasy world getting dragged through a portal by an isekai protagonist, but I thought I needed an actual isekai story first in order to do that, so here we are. I think 20 Volumes was enough exposition, don't you?

Now for the twist at the end of the Volume - Lune interrupted the ritual on purpose. Surprise, he was the culprit all this time, and no one knows... but you and me! Haha, don't tell Issei, he'll go crazy! But it seems Lune really wanted to see this world, even if it meant throwing away all he's built in his own. Seriously, will this guy ever learn to sit still?

Ah, time for me to go. I need to do the next Volume's draft and cover. Hope you enjoyed, and as always, please follow, favorite, rate and review the story!

This is Mikan Akai, signing out!
