The Old Man Couldn't Help but smile. The way that Leroy acted, was almost, familiar. Strange to see someone have an Attitude that was almost nostalgic to him. "I am-"
Former Member of The Roger Pirates
Dr. David Livesey
Current Light House Keeper
"Dr. David Livesey At your service." He said giving a small bow "By now I'm sure you've been able to tell, I'm the Light House keeper for this place. Estea Cape as I call it."
“Well, it's nice to meet you, Dr. Livesy. I'm Kirk, thank you so much for the log pose! Man, we would've been lost if it weren't for you” Noir seemed to bristle a bit a the name… his brow furrowing as he started at the man… but eventually, he seemed to let it go. For a moment, he thought he may know the man..
The name was way too familiar, but he couldn't place it, nor did he really care. Probably some story he's heard from Ducasse when he was a pirate, that was the only reason he knew some of the names out on the seas.
Kále stood at the helm of the ship, looking over the railing at the man near the lighthouse. Listening to what he was saying, he sure knew a lot about the Grand Line. 'I guess being at the start of the grand line and meeting all the returning pirates gives you a lot of knowledge...' He thought to himself.
Even though he's at the very start of the Grand Line, Paradise as he called it, he knows a lot about the end. Kále looked to his crewmates, seeing Kirk checking out his flashy new compass and seeing Leroy's excitement in talking to this man. He couldn't really relate since old guys who work at lighthouses weren't all that interesting to him, not currently anyway, so he turned his back and sat down against the ship's railing. Taking his swords from his belt and placing them at his side. He was still listening but he was just tired of standing.
Jeanne nodded along as Leroy, Kirk and Livesey talked amongst themselves. Taking in as much information as she could. That is before Kirk brought up the broken whip staff again. "I guess while we wait I should get on that.", she said with a chuckle.
"Noir, could you come with me? I need an extra set of hands for this.", she said starting to walk towards the broken whip staff to inspect how major the damage was. Hopefully it was a simple repair, since she wasn't exactly a shipwright. She had some basic knowledge on carpentry though, so they could be able to fix the simple repairs with her at least.
“Absolutely, my dear! Anything for you!” Noir exclaimed while hurrying over to her side. Ah, to be helpful and supportive to an exquisite woman like herself! He must prove herself to her! Helping her fix the whipstaff would obviously make her like him much more, right? That’s how that worked, clearly!

"The papers didn't mention that Red Sash Had such a crew." Livsey said with a curious smile. "So. Tell me." He sat down in the lawn chair and took a sip from a cup of tea from a small table in front of him "What is it that you hope to achieve by entering the grand line?"
Leroy for a moment had a strange sense of Deja Vu. Hadn't they just gone through this together? He already knew who he was. Though it did make sense that there was going to be someone in the Grand Line that was curious as to what would bring someone to someplace so dangerous
"I'm gonna become King Of the Pirates and Find the One Piece!" He spoke with that same enthusiasm that he had on the Ship The words took the Former Pirate back. It certainly was more than just Deja Vu on Leroys Part.
The way that he'd spoke was so familiar, so enthusiastic and filled with a sense of adventure His brow pursed slightly as a smile remained. An almost melancholic look of remembrance
'Roger...'
"Well! You certainly have competition! Every group of interest in this very sea is in some way gunning for that Treasure Roger left behind."
"What? Like the Marshals?" Questioned Leroy with a Challenging Grin
"Precisely each of them have some sort of major Influence in the world or to the Government. Rather in strength, sway, or organization."
A sudden sound of cracking filled the air as Leroy put his hand against his knuckles "Well, Then it seems like I know what I'll have to do! I'll just have to beat them and take 'em down!"
"LIHAHAHAHA! You certainly have quite the ambition don't you! Do you even know how strong these Pirates are?!" He was certainly surprised by the decleration, but he could tell, just by looking at the resolve writen across his face. He meant Every Single word... "Doesn't matter. I'll give it everything I got!"
Kirk grinned over his shoulder at Leroy. That’s their captain! Though, even he had to admit, Leroy was ambitious. The thought about going up against those Marshals was a dreadful one… hey! Kirk could just… hide while the others took care of them! Right? Perfect plan! Nevermind, that’ll be a piece of cake!
“Don’t think you can deter him, Dr. Livesey, he’s more stubborn than a mule.” Kirk chuckled, propping his hands on his hips while looking between the two. “Plus we’ve already met one of them and survived! I think we can fair well against… maybe one of them”
His eyes flashed over to Kále, also seeing Jeanne and Noir about to go fix the whip staff. “Hey, can you check the damage to the side of the ship for me?” He pointed in the direction he was talking about so at least Kále didn’t forget totally what he was talking about. “If it’s bad, see if you can help Jeanne and Noir with it.”
Kále grinned over at Leroy as he declared that he'd take down the Marshals without a second thought. That is the man he chose to follow, and for good reason, it seemed. Kále liked the thought of taking on these Marshals, he'd already met and fought with one of them so taking the rest of them on would certainly be fun.
"...fine..." He stood up and began walking in the direction Kirk pointed, he then turned and walked below deck because he forgot where Kirk pointed and what he was asked to do.
