Noir didn’t seem to hear the fishman and was now folding his jacket neatly over his arm and was mumbling to himself happily, more things about Jeanne and possible dates they could have at this molten rock island because they were both sooooo totally in love and they must have some romantic time together to fuel Noir’s daydreams and blah blah blah bla- “Obviously she’s not going to be that easy to find, you dolt. We can ask around first to see if she’s actually here and go from there.” Kirk WAS being smart, in fact. They had JUST gotten to this place, and while they were both very anxious to get Leroy’s help, it would take time.
The Town of Volc Came closer by the second, and before they knew it. They were in the streets of the town. This town was just as bad as the last. But seemed to be Actually in the process of being repaired. But people still looked to be injured. Unbeknownst to the Trio. This being the main town was clear enough by just how large it was. Multiple Blocks of Buildings. But still...The Scars of Destruction were clear as the Very Ground was fractured and splintered...
The buildings them selves were made more often from stone and brick rather than the Wattle and Daub method of wood that the previous town of Froso was. Some of the buildings were flatter and almost touching the sides of each other. While others had awning like over hangs as well as patios.
“At least this place seems to be up and moving.” Kirk pointed out as they walked into the town. He wondered where that king may be and how badly that town may have been damaged, if this wasn’t it itself. “I’ll go ask around to see if that doctor is here, keep an eye out for… I guess any important looking woman who is helping people. Remember, we're looking for Doctor Oslar."
Noir was, of course, completely up and devoted to that task ! He even nodded excitedly in response. Kirk broke off from the other two and yet again went up to the first people he saw. “Hey! Is this Volc Town?”
Kále nodded at Kirk's advice. All he had to do was remember to look for a woman who is helping people. He could do that, no problem! Seeing Kirk leaving to search, Kále decided to do the same. He turned away from Noir and began walking toward a group of houses, wanting to get away from the pervy chef as quickly as possible. "I'll search over here. You should head further into town and see what you can find." He approached the first house he spotted and banged on the door. "Is there a doctor-chick in there?" Kále wasn't well-versed in door duty, this was the best way for him to get the info he needed, even if it was quite rude.
As the Group split up. Everyone that they came across said the same thing. Dr. Oslar had been coming to town pretty regularly. She was the main doctor on the Island. Belonging to the Oslar family. And being the last remaining member on the Island. And after the attack left many of the Doctors dead or Too Injured to help themselves. She was the last, and best one left.
Some thought that she had help from someone that didn't live in any of the towns. But the only people not in town was Dr Oslar who lived out in the forest. Others spoke of how they had seen a masked individual with her, short. Not over 5'5 walking to where The King that lived in the new Temporary Castle Near the Hot Springs. Making sure to tend to his injuries and offer as much medical help as possible.
King Kylig was a man that was well known for his Respect to his people, He very often walked amongst the towns and the streets. It was after his father, who was nothing more than a figure that people thought about a top the tower, and his father before him who was a tyrant as cold as the Islands most frigid winters, had he chosen to become a man of the people. Often times, people offered their service to him, and worked in the Castle. Getting paid handsomely in the process. Others who worked tirelessly to provide for the king, and then the Island.

It wasn't perfect. But many of them loved him.
And then there was the myth of the Monster in the Woods... Which meant yet again, the trio would have to be on the move and make their way out to the Frost Ember forest...
Kirk had struggled to find Kále after flagging down a swooning and very off task Noir helping some women in the town. God knows where that idiot went in this place, so it took a while to find him. “Heyy! Kále! We know where to go! But we gotta hurry!”
Kále heard someone yelling for him in the distance, he had been knocking on doors and asking around for this doctor lady but he wandered off and forgot where Kirk and Noir were. He quickly made his way to the yelling, frustrated that Kirk and Noir had wandered off and gotten distracted (He is unaware of his hypocrisy.) He popped out from some random building near where Kirk and Noir were yelling for him, spotting the pair and walking over.
"Man, where did you guys go? I was looking around for you after I got some info on that lady."
“Where did YOU go, idiot! I knew I shouldn’t have let you wander off!” Noir said all huffily, as if that was an expressed worry he had before and he totally wasn’t just taking this chance to flirt with some women.
“Oh, stop it, you two!” Kirk scolded the kids. “What did you get about her? Apparently, both Noir and I got that she lives out in the forest that way.” He said while pointing in the general direction. “I don’t know how long we’ve been out here but it’s been TOO long, so let’s pick up the pace a bit.”
"All I got was about the King. And a bit about her." Noir said.
"I went where I said I was going, you guys wandered off!" Kále responded to the pervy chef accusing him of getting lost. No way that would ever happen! Preposterous! "As for what I heard about the lady, I heard that she's somewhere... uh, hmm." Kále went into deep thought about what he was told, he forgot basically.
"I don't remember, it was something about a forest or something, I think." He was guessing really, Kirk mentioned a forest and Kále maybe remembered something about a forest so he just went with that. "Anyways, let's get a move on. And don't wander off again this time." Kále pointed at Noir, accusing him of getting lost.
“See! You don’t even remember!” Noir shot back once more before getting a filthy glare from Kirk, immediately shrinking in his gaze in fear of getting one shot once again. “Well, at least we all got the same thing. Let’s go then.” Kirk said while taking the lead, already knowing Kále didn’t remember the way at all. “Aaaalso, there’s apparently a monster in the woods!” Kirk was…. All too cheery while saying that. “Soooo… you two are gonna protect me, ‘Kay?”
