Unfortunately responding to the stupid nickname of ‘Gills’, Kirk looked over again. His eyes lit up at the side of the eternal log pose. “Wait, what does it say on it?” The navigator didn’t want to leave the Captain’s side, so he leaned forward a bit to see the name inscribed on the wood frame.
“‘Arabasta’… Well, it’s not what we need… but if that guy left it for Leroy, there must be something to it. Let’s hold onto it and we will see if Leroy remembers what it’s for when he wakes up..” Kirk was insanely disappointed it wasn’t pointing towards the island they genuinely needed… but it may still be important. “I’m not sure what direction Drumvolc might be in unless we ask around and see if anyone has a general idea of the direction..”
As the rest addressed Rango Scotch and all sorts of things Jeanne was hard at work. She had to make sure no major arteries were nicked. When she was confident she could sew him back up, she began stitching Leroy's up. "As for how Leroy was hurt by bullets? Best guess is probably Seaprism Stone or Devil Fruit abilities." she said as she started with stitching up Leroy's side as it was the part that worried her most.
"As for this Drumvolc. On one hand it could be a good choice to try and find it..." she says while she continues stitching. "But with Leroy out like this I think we should wait on him to come to. He's the captain after all."
Leroy began to come to right on cue. Blood coughing from his mouth. His eyes were hazey as he looked around "Just...Get out of..ERGH-" Pain shot through him, it was scorching hot. Blistering. "Out of here...And then...We'll get to that fuckin' Marshal..." He couldn't stay conscious any longer as his breathing became ragged. His eyes wincing as he grit his teeth.
“Leroy!” Kirk was surprised the guy could still talk… not that he should be! At all! “Just close your eyes for now, alright? Get some rest and don’t try to do anything.” He looked at the other people of the crew next, a furrow in his brow. A million things were going on through his brain now, considering how he had to figure out how to get to this mysterious place that he had no idea which way to start heading first… and what was this thing about a Marshal? What did one of them correlate to this whole thing? Maybe that’s the whole log pose thing..
Jeanne was shocked that Leroy was able to wake up with all the bloodloss and pain. "The Marshal can wait. Getting you well, that comes first Leroy.", she says out of concern. She understood the whole pride thing of the duel on a basic level, but having Leroy just want to jump at some new target? That was a deathwish.

“Since he’s mostly patched up… which one of you can carry him gently to the ship? I’m gonna…” Kirk thought for a second before his eyes lit up with an idea. “I’ll go see if I can find Hennessy. He might know where to head. We need to get whatever we have in here to the ship stat and head out immediately. Make sure to set the sails and when you see me coming back, start bringing up the anchor. We need to go as soon as possible.”
Kále was relieved to hear Leroy speak, he knew his captain would pull through! No way a couple gunshots would kill him! After his wounds were patched up by Jeanne and Kirk, Kále walked to the bed and, at the request of Kirk, lifted Leroy up off of the bed and began walking out of the Hotel. Kále was of course worried about his Captain, but more than that, he trusted that Leroy could pull through. This was the man who'd just dominated the East Blue in a matter of weeks, no way this little setback would put him down for the count.
He knew that Leroy was gonna make it and get even stronger from this. He'd seen it before and he knew he'd see it again. Kále began heading out of the hotel with Leroy in his arms. "Jeanne! Chef! Get our stuff, meet me at the ship!" He headed out of the hotel and began running in the wrong direction because he DID NOT REMEMBER WHERE THE SHIP WAS! How shocking!
Jeanne groaned as she saw Kále head the complete wrong direction. "Okay. I'll make sure he heads the right way. I'll be back though.", she would say to Noir as she took off after Kále. "Kále! Wait up you forgetful Bastard!", she shouted at him! "One, you're injured as well. So I don't need you potentially getting your wound reopened. Two, the ship is this way!" she said as she caught up to him and started to guide him towards the right direction.
Noir nodded quickly to Jeanne and started to get as many things as he could to start bringing back to the ship. He did take a pause to light a cigarette, the stress of his Captain being hurt getting to his mind, and mentally apologized to the fine establishment for smoking indoors. Kirk hurried out of the inn and headed to opposite direction of the crew, in search of Hennessy. He knew what island was after this one, so he may know where Drumvolc is. He really hoped that going off course like this wouldn’t mess up the log pose, but they had to risk it for Leroy… damn it! Why did he have to get into trouble NOW of all times?!
Soon enough, as the crew was finally ready on the ship, Kirk started to come back into view. It had been a little bit, since he had to figure out where Hennessy would’ve been during the middle of the night, and after asking around some bars, he eventually found his way to the man. Kirk came running up towards the ship from the dock, waving. “Hey! I got it! C’mon, let’s hurry!” Noir looked over the railing edge, spotting the navigator, and thrust a thumbs up to the other man. “Got it! Everything’s ready!”
