Chapter 147: A Familiar Face

Chapter 147: A Familiar Face

Garrick had Leroy on the Ropes, they'd only been fighting for a few seconds but they were going at it! He got in a few good its, and Garricks nose was bloodied, lip busted, but Leroy had only a cut on his shoulder. He was focusing far more on evading as he landed a kick into Garrick and sent him skidding backwards!

With his Leg snapping back into place he stayed squatted. A small trickle of sweat coming down his face for just a moment when suddenly... High up from one of the buildings just off to the side of the Twos battle was a figure! They were Suddenly Shillouetted by the low hanging sun in the air as they leaped from the sandstone building before suddenly a flash of light illuminated where the figure was!

A Mere moment later. The Street was engulfed with fire and heat! A dazzling display of gold and red as an untamed blaze fully consumed the street! Separating Bellamy, Garrick and his squad of marines that were quickly breaking their cover to assist the captain from Leroy!

The haze of heat washed over the captain as he suddenly stood to his feet quickly and got himself into a ready postion. The flames crackled and licked at the air as their uncontrolled elemental might suddenly began to recede! The fire retreated inwards, snaking across the ground, revealing light scorch marks as the form of a human began to appear amidst the fire and flame.

The figure looked to be a man. He was tall. At least over 6ft, Hair was revealed to be jet black as the fire subsided to show the man in full, medium length that reached his neck in a messy fashion. He wore a light short sleeve jacket that was an off-colored orangish red. It allowed his muscular arms to be exposed. On his wrist was a log pose, and wristbands. The man's pants were shorts made of darkly colored denim. A belt looped around him as a small pouch hung off the side of his hip.

He just stood there, holding a leather backpack as he spoke in a voice that was on the deeper end of medium. He looked over his shoulder slightly as he spoke "I thought I recognized you..."

"Leroy."

Leroys Eyes widened. He just stared. He knew that voice. He knew that face...But he didn't recognize that fire? "Azar!" A smile began to creep across Red Sashes face as he stared at the familiar man.

"Long Time no see...Little Brother." The small grin grew by the moment as the man looked to his younger brother. It had been over 3 years since they had last seen each other back on Dawn Island when he had departed when he turned 19 just as promised.

Second Division Commander of the Redbeard Pirates.

Eudora D. Azar

The Marines were in a flurry. The fire was large and kept them from crossing. Given the Two brothers a moment to speak.

"You ate a Devil Fruit too?!" Shouted Leroy in a confussed tone as he watched his brothers body still have flames ignited across him. It was similar to that of Jeanne! Just like she'd become steam from time to time!

"That right. The Mera Mera no Mi. The Flame Flame fruit!" Azar had a prideful smirk across his face as he waved his hand telling Leroy to leave "Now Get out of here! I'll catch up with you later! I'll make sure these guys won't chase ya!" Azar said as he faced back to the Marines who all began lining up.

"Right!" Leroy said as he spun on his heel and began to make a run for it down the street only for him to then see that his crew had finally caught up with him! Noir and Jeanne making their way down the street! "Leroy! What the Hell happened!" Jeanne said with beads of nervous and fearful sweat trailing down her brow. She looked around confused as to why a man was engulfed in flames "Don't worry about it! Lets keep going!" He said as he waved at them to turn around and keep going

Noir was nearly just a husk of despair as he followed behind Jeanne mopey and looking drained. “Prolly… some random guy… with some magical ability… or something…” His eyes were all watery and he was very sniffly, clearly still hurt and destroyed entirely by the sudden news of getting to know Jeanne was a lesbian. “If Leroy is fine with him… he’s probably ok… or something…”

Kale, accompanied by Dezzi, had seen the haze of fire that had just sprung out of nowhere in this town. Obviously, thinking that Leroy was the cause they quickly made their way over to the spot, only to find Leroy, Jeanne and Noir running down the street, away from said location. "Oh, there they are!" He said to Dezzi. "Where did you guys get off to?" He asked, totally forgetting that they all agreed to split up not too long ago.

“They were searching for Leroy, which they seem to have succeeded” Dezzi would say to Kale, they weren't paying full attention however as they were kinda worried about the fire that was in the direction Leroy was coming from, what had caused that to happen? They would ask about it later “But also it seems they found trouble, like you said they would”

Noir was still dejected as ever, sobbing and being miserable and barely noticing Dezzi and Kale there, hunched over with regret and despiar wafting off of him. Not even the pretty ladies around could fix him. Noir simpled mumbled something in response that was illegible and went on about his now horrible day. Around the corner, Kirk stood with his arms crossed, staring at the guy made of fire and the way too pleasant Leroy. With a loud groan and a roll of his eyes, he started to head over to Leroy. He had ran over to see what was going on and to make sure it wasn’t a crewmate… but honestly, he should’ve been expecting Leroy to be there. “Of COURSE you know a guy with… what? A fire devil fruit? Or something? Alright, did you beat this guy up or something this time?” The navigator said haughtily, narrowing his eyes at Azar for a second before grumpily looking at Leroy.

"What?" He said as he stopped and looked back at Azar who was currently in the midst of battling the Marines. Sending blazing pillars of fire towards them "No! That's my brother!" He said with a huge smile on his face. There wasn't a hint of sarcasm to his voice which told the Fishman that the man that was on fire was genuinely his relative. "I never expected to see him here but He's giving us an escape!" He said as he turned back around and waved to the rest of the crew "Let get going!" He said waving to all of them as he turned down the street and continued to run

“..You have a brother?!” Kirk said, hesitating to follow from his shock before hurrying after his captain. “Oh god, don’t tell me he’s as reckless as you are!”
