Jeanne was busy shivering her ass off. For an island with volcanic activity you'd think it'd be warmer. Her Devil Fruit made her more susceptible to the cold too. "H-how the hell do you expect me to spot if someone's a d-d-doctor? It isn't l-l-like they'd just be wearing surgical clothes in th-this c-cold." she comments from the crow's nest. "I s-say we find the n-n-nearest town and ask." she says rubbing her arms beneath a thick jacket. Thank God she got some cold weather clothes just in case, but this wasn't nearly enough layers for her. Hopefully she wouldn't get hypothermia with all this cold. They had enough on their plate with a severely injured captain.
Devil Fruits, While making a person totally immune to things directly related to their Fruit, Such as Hot Temperatures with in the 212 to the 400 degree range with Jeanne. Whos temperature would increase the more potent she became to the point where steam begins to debond. Or humid environments thick with moisture, she'd be the most comfortable in. But with these, came weaknesses. As with Heat based abilities, the cold was susceptible. Especially in Logias, whos abilities granted them the Ability to transform, manipulate and produce all of their element were weak to their natural opposite. A Sand Logia would be weak to Moisture and Water. A Smoke to Wind. Or even something like Metal to Force harsh force.
All this to say, Jeanne in the Sub-Zero Temperatures of the Island. Was Suffering.
The town seemed to be in severe shape. But this wasn't the Main Town. The Main town was Volc. A fair bit of distance away. There were so many collapsed Buildings that it seemed like there had been an attack of some kind. Perhaps one of the Town Folk new where the doctor that had helped them went...
Kirk had been a bit too busy with going between navigating and checking up on Leroy to care too much about the cold. The most he did was button up his shirt more and go on about his day. While he would need warm clothes later, he wasn’t going to bother with putting on any right now. Jeanne’s shivering jump started his brain and made him realize the cold… well, good thing he was a koi! He could handle the temperature easy!
“Well, there might be the possibility of one!” Kirk frowned up at the crows nest before going over to the side of the ship next to the dock, putting down the gangplank. “Let’s keep Leroy here for now so he stays warm, is he covered up? Noir?”
The chef had been sitting over Leroy most of the trip to Drumvolc, like all of the others, and was stressing about him not eating. At least he had gotten the man to drink a little bit, otherwise the dehydration would’ve just made it ultimately worse.
When hearing his name, he perked up and poked his head out from the cabin. “Yeah, he’ll be fine until we find a doctor.” Glancing back over his shoulder at his captain, he finally walked out to the deck and over to Kirk, following the Fishman down to the docks. “Like Jeanne said, let’s head to town and ask around.“ Kirk called over to the group.

"I'll st-stay at the ship. We need someone to k-keep an eye on Leroy.", Jeanne says as she climbs down from the crow's nest. It was weird to see her do that rather than just burst down in a cloud of steam, but the cold made that untenable.
"S-someone grab me and him some warmer clothes while you're out.", she said as she headed into where Leroy was held, she was too cold to climb down the mast. So she had to go through the entrance in the galley to the Quarters.
It sucked seeing him like this. Especially when she had nothing she could do for him other than change his bandages. "Don't you f-fucking die on us, you hear." she says to the unconscious Leroy as she took a seat. Maybe she should ask Noir to make something warm for everyone to drink before they headed out.
“Sure will, just hang in tight for now, hopefully we will be back soon!” Kirk waved back at the ship, giving his goodbye to Jeanne, before leading the way into town. Noir also decided to give a goodbye, shouting out to Jeanne.
“Jeanne-Chaaan! There is supplies in there for hot chocolate! And I made sure to pre-grind coffee just in case! Stay warm, my loooove!” His ditzy and warm words almost made him seem like he didn’t care for the serious situation, considering how his eyes lit up at just the inventor’s name rolling off of his tongue. Kirk rolled his eyes and sighed gently as Noir made a fool of himself over a lesbian woman and started to wonder when Jeanne would break the news to the man
Kále wasn't very cold, he'd been doing a lot of working out and training so he'd built up enough sweat to keep his body warm. He did wear a long jacket because of Kirk and Jeanne's reactions to the cold, he didn't want to risk getting ill because of not wearing appropriate clothing. Kále followed Kirk and Noir off of the ship as they left. Jeanne was going to stay and watch over Leroy, which made sense since she was the only one capable of dressing wounds properly, and with the amount of wound-dressing she's done for Kále so far she must be a master of it by now.
Kále trusted Jeanne to keep the ship safe as well, though he wasn't too worried about any of these miserable, weak-looking civilians coming to attack the ship. As he stepped off of the ship, he looked to Noir and Kirk. "Should we split up? Cover more ground that way." Please god, don't split up he will end up in the frozen water and he'll freeze to death I am not kidding.
“No, not right now, not when this place looks… like this. If it comes to it and there’s no doctor in this town, we’ll split up, but I think we should stick together until we know this place is safe.”
