They were close to surrounded! The Marines wearing their White long sleeved coats with blue wedges of blue. A ascot like accessory a deep blue tied around their neck. A Black gold buck belt held sabers on their hips with a holster that held flint lock pistols. Pants a darker blue, almost black with combat boots.
Leroy then shot his leg back and sent it forward horizontally! Whipping the dozens of men up into the sky!
"SLING!"
With his leg reeling back into place, he spins around and looks to Kirk "That should give us enough time! Lets bounce!" Leroy gestured with his head down the street before making a run for it.
Kirk nodded immediately and set off after his captain. Oh god, was he ever gonna get used to those powers? It was so weird just... seeing his body stretch like that! The Fishman shuddered as he continued to run. He was sure he was going to find and witness much odder things on the Grand Line though...
"I think they were heading towards the gun shops! I think we should be close enough, let's just hope they haven't left yet!" Kirk shouted to his captain as he looked over his shoulder at the approaching Marines. Even though Leroy had taken out a good chunk of the group, there was still a sea left of them! This definitely wasn't good..!
Up from above, yet again! Another foe entered the fray! A long flowing white tailed coats flipping through the air as a female Marine landed! The Uniform tight against her torso as she Unsheated a long straight sword, her tall knee high boots. She was measured, precise, quickly upholstering a kenny type Flintlock. A long bayonet on its edge.
"Falcon D. Leroy! You are under arrest for Piracy, Thievery, and Disruption of Marine Activity!" She cocked the hammer back. This was Captain Poniyard.
"Kirk! Make a Run for It!" He shouted to his navigator. It wasn't just a request. It was an Order.
“Alright! You better stay safe!” Kirk called over his shoulder as he shot ahead, watching Leroy go after the . As if he was gonna have to be told twice to run away from a fight! Leroy was strong, so he trusted him to be fine and get out of there when he needed to. His captain was a bit… everywhere sometimes but he was good when fighting! Kirk instantly took the chance for the two higher up marines going after Leroy to book it through the town and start taking twisting paths.
He could lose any of them if he needed if any of the marines were after him, though Kirk thought he was pretty safe since he had no bounty… oh god he better not get a bounty just because they went to this damn island! Even if it was a 50 Berry bounty! He took a turn down an ally, popping into another street and paused to look around frantically. Damn it, where did the rest of the group go? Kirk slid by some people narrowly, earning some shouts of surprise and annoyance, and he continued to rush down the town streets. “Jeanne! Noir! Kale! Heyyy!! Where are you?!”

As Leroy took up a fighting position, a Marine Lieutenant skidded to a stop at the end of alley way as more and more Marines in white and blue flooded in to surround him! This Marine Captain in question was Lieutenant Marcus Bellamy Braemar. He was tall, and held a curved cutlass. A Large Rifle over his back. He wore a black frock coat. Bezeled with gold. It came up to his neck into a high collar. Large brown gloves on his hand, his face was scared with a large sword scar straight across his face. Slicked back short brown Hair.
Then! Poniard Flew forward in a Dash of Intense Speed! Often times, rank meant power. Captains were the strongest among marines when they were in a crew on a ship. But- Poniard was different. She was promoted for strategic might, rather than physical. This was a very rare occasion.
Firing her pistol, she the whipped her Sword in front of her and boosted the Lead ball to immense speeds of a speeding bullet!
Leroy's gaze shot to the Marine captain, watching as the lead projectile spewed through the air and impacted right into the ground! He didn't even flinch! Eyes locked onto Poniard as she sped through the air, her bayonet coming right at him! His look was one of focus and conviction, utterly focused on the fight that had just begun! He couldn't help but smile! That same devilish smile coming over his face as he stepped out of the way of the incoming strike!
Using his immense reflexes, he grabbed the wrist of the woman and suddenly pulled her closer before doing a quick spin on his feet, his eyes catching the sudden movement of Bellamy out of the corner of his vision! The Lieutenant had launched a secondary attack! Sword raised over head for a down ward strike!
Using the momentum, he turned around and used Poniard as a Body shield! Intercepting the Lieutenants sword strike with such finesse that the entire thing seemed to happen in the blink of an eye!
Bellamy Sliced down the Torso of his comrade! His eyes widening! His swordsmanship was untrained, he merely used the weapon like a blunt force object and swung harshly and widely. This meant thankfully, the slice was harsh, but not too deep.
Leroy Quickly let go of the Marines wrist as he redirected her, and firmly planted the sole of his shoe into the base of her spine! Kicking her into her Comrade! The blow was intense! Despite the casual, yet serious nature of the strike, it had carried an extreme amount of force! The blow would've been enough to crack the bones of any of the other marines around them!
"Seriously!? You guys don't let up do you?"
