“What Happened to not talking?” She said smugly. “Best to understand what you are to better cut you down no?” He Sarcastically retorted “Well I’ll Indulge you. As the First Commanding Officer of the Chyros Trading Company, and The Foremost Member of the Pure Gold Echelon. I’d have to be strong wouldn’t I?” She cocked an Eyebrow.
“I ate the Blade-Blade fruit. Which allows me to Produce any Type of Blade I wish from my body.” She then looked at her shattered blade. “Though it does help to have a medium…”
As she spoke. The Shattered Blade of Curtana’s ‘Mercy’ began to change, the gaps in the shards began to fill in and extend, and the dark brown colored blade was now two-toned, mixed with a brilliantly glimmering Silver. The blade fully formed into a full sword. “Like it?” She cooed inquisitively
“Yeah. Now I know that If I want to beat you I’ll just have to take on as many swords as you can bring out.” Kále looked to his own sword, Rokudai Senkusha. In the next moments, his mind raced. He had been able to produce a pretty potent amount of force before on the Palm, back in the east. Like that of a gust of wind. But it was unfocused. It’d been in the back of Káles mind ever since he lost to Wolfheart. The way he used that Black Blade…It Boggled his mind. And now this. Something he wasn’t able to cut. He was so strong, and yet, he couldn’t even Cut Steel with a single swipe. He had to hack away at it...
He’d seen Leroy shatter walls, and snap chains like nothing. He knew he could do the same. And yet. His sword, his main form of attack, couldn’t do what his hands could.
“Oh~ What~?” The Swordswoman cooed again “Does the future that holds your Death frighten you?”
“Nah.” Suddenly, Kále cocked Rokudai Senkusha to side and flexed his muscles before bringing out in front of him in a powerful slash! A large gust of wind shot forth! It was like that of the Winds from a Hurricane! But faster by an Untold Magnitude! It knocked the dust into the air, and shook the ground around him! “Issen-Ho!”
Typically, Swordsmen were able to concentrate the wind their swords produced into something known as a ‘Flying Slash’, a compressed blade of wind that carried the force of their slash in the Projectile, with the same ability to cut depending on how the Swordsman accomplished it. This was something Kále always envied in his inability to do such a thing.
But when it reached Curtana, it had no effect as she grounded herself in spite of the incredible amount of wind. The look of Slight worry she had, utterly melted away. ‘Here I thought that was gonna be something impressive!’ “What the hell was that shit! You softin’ up on me or somethin’?!” She yelled with a twisted look on her face. Kále in turn gave his own grin. “Just a test to mark my progress…”
Stolen novel; please report.
’Mark his Progress?!’ The smug look warped into a snarl of disdain. She felt an incredible amount of Vileness against this man in front of her. Curtana flicked her arm to the Side, and in turn blades twisted up and out of it, curving into the shape that had came from her Abdomen. The result was what looked like a flared mace taking form around her forearm, holding it horizontally to just below her chest. Her arm was out to the side, bent to have Mercy at the ready, like how a soldier would hold a Sword and Shield.
“C’mon!” She declared! The Grin Widened on Káles face as held his swords at his side. “Nitoryu Ogi!”
Kále then began to roll his wrist, spinning his swords in his hands, VI and Kikumori slowly picking up momentum before he leaned forward, and his legs exploded with enormous strength as he sprinted towards Curtana! The Swordswoman readied herself when Kále then suddenly exploded forth in a dash half way through Sprint!
In a blur of Speed the First Mate appeared in front of Curtana, Blades no longer spinning as he held them above his head “Takemikazauchi!” Curtanna Scowled as she twisted her hips and brought her shield of blades in front of her! Sparks spewed through the air as Steel crashed against Steel!
The Sound of Steel against Steel Sung through the Air as Kále and Curtana’s Blades clashed against one another in their continued dance of violence after Kále had failed his last attack.
Each one of Kále's swings seemed to not even budge the woman, she just seemed to gain the edge, having her own blade dance around his own. When he put force on her blade in a parry, she’d slide Mercy against the Edge of his own and work her way inside of his defense, putting him totally on the ropes!
’She’s so Damn fast! And the way she moves with that blade is nuts…’ Kále grimaced to himself, he was avoiding and parrying as many of her strikes as possible! Yet he would still feel the sting of pain as the tip and the edge of her blade grazed and cut into his flesh. Trickles of red trailed town as he did.
Amongst their symphony of clashes, Kále swung his sword against hers as one of his arms went slack as he rotated his hips! The Clash of steel sent sparks flying as It gave Kále an Opening! Curtana’s arm flew to the side, and Kále thrust his Swords forward and gave two slices across her Abdomen! “Shita-Kiri!”
The Force of the attack caused Curtana to be pushed back, but only by a few inches as a small trail of blood oozed down her chiseled abdomen. “Hah…Hah…Seems like you finally got a cut off on me…If I’d been any slower I’m sure I’d be close to disemboweled!” She said as the twos gaze both shifted to her abdomen, the same silver hue of steel, she’d blocked it again. ‘I was almost fast enough that time…’.
