Jeanne paced through the city. She’d taken to the rooftops. Hopping from Building to building, dispersing into steam for invasion and literally light as air! Reforming on the top of a sandstone building, she leaned over one of the ledges and looked into the streets to see a group of revolters freshly winning an encounter with the Chryos Agents, the men dropped to their knees as their opponents bled. She Grimaced at the sight, but was relieved that they had won this small battle for their home
She was close to the Morray Array. Only a few blocks away, and within only 15 minutes she reappeared in her physical form breathlessly. Heaving heavily, she wasn’t built for this much physical activity, she’d traversed the entire 5 kilometers of Arabasta to the tip of the Northwest section of the Aluba, an Entire Marathon!
She slumped onto a nearby wall of the large sandstone building, a giant onion dome that gave her incredible coverage.
Sweat dampened her clothes and Cloak, Despite the Smog cloud blocking out much of the sun, it created a greenhouse effect, trapping in heat that radiated into the city, but prevented it from leaking out. Causing the Temperature of the already hot Arabasta Kingdom to be increased significantly.
This put the Steam Woman at a Disadvantage. She worked best in humid Environments that Catered to her Humid Disposition. Such Dry heat literally dried her out just as Cold Temperatures would stunt her.
She tried to catch her breath, She was beginning to feel lightheaded. ‘I think I’m on the verge of Heat stroke at this rate…I’ve gotta cool down. And quick!’ She pulled her satchel onto her lap and opened it up and pulled out a canteen, one she’d filled up back in Arid for this very reason.
She took a quick swig and Gulped down mouthfuls of water before pouring it on her face. Capping the Canteen she slicked her Pompadour back with one hand and readied Archie up, checking the Pressure Chamber for a Barring.
Giving one last check to everything she looked to her hand and willed it into the Intangible image of a Steam leaking from her Wrist. “Good to go.”

She then broke from her cover and ran over to the edge of the Building and scoured the horizon, looking for her target. As her eyes squinted they suddenly widened as she spotted the Morray Array. From this distance, she couldn’t get too good of it from her vantage point, but using the goggles on her head she was able to look closely at the Machine that powered the Entire City!
The Array was A mess of Pipes and Wires that sat in plain view of the surrounding Buildings. Many of the Wires went underground where they would snake their way through the city into many homes and buildings. The Main tank was a large cylindrical glass tube that was wider than it was tall, made of thick glass that revealed the Morray Eels inside, glowing and Illuminating the tank from their Passive Discharge of Large amounts of Electricity.
“It seems to be about 100 meters away…Probably closer to 200…Meaning that Archie would need more steam-power into her…Psishishishi…” She Nervously chuckled as she crouched down and set up the cannon on the ledge, positioning herself for shooting “Should be a Piece of cake…Right?” She said as she took aim, her goggles serving as a scope, and flooding the inside of the weapon with steam, raising the pressure by multiple magnitudes, the pressure gauge’s dial rising until the right moment for when she finally pulled the trigger!
TH-ANG
A sound cracked through the air with a sharp sonic boom! But it wasn’t Archie! “What the Hell!” Jeanne said as she suddenly jumped to her feet and recoiled back from the Ledge! Where she once was, was now missing a chunk of sandstone! A large sharp needle-like spine was embedded into the roof! Deep cracks web out around it from the sheer power of its impact!
A distance away, inside a spire tower was the Man known as Nema. ‘The Pinpoint’. He pulled his bamboo blow tube from his mouth and spoke in a somber and quiet tone “Damn…I Missed.”
