Dezzi had made a few pit stops before going to the ship. Of course they were got the essentials, but also they wanted to grab a few herbs from around the island because they may not get a good chance to get those elsewhere When Dezzi had made it to the ship it had been a few hours from when they had left earlier. They waited off of the ship, feeling it would be rude to walk on without being invited “Howdy everyone”
Leroy was in the middle of being wrestled with by Noir as he was attempting to get out of bed. He was out walking the decks at the dismay of both kirk and the Chef. Noir was literally trying to grapple the captain to drag him back to the bed. “Leroy!! The doctor said you had to rest!”
When suddenly Leroys eyes widened at spotting Dezzi "Oh! Look! They're back!"
Kirk was standing by the door with a scowl and his arms crossed, watching the two. “Noir! How hard is it to wrangle him back into a bed!? Hurry up before I do it myself!”
Noir jumped, looking mortified and clearly not wanting to experience the Navigators anger again. “I'm on it! I'm on it!” He went back to Leroy, grabbing him by the arm and trying to yank him back.
“Look, you should rrrrreeeeeallly get bad to bed, like it's a really big suggestion.” He was halfway begging now, looking exasperated. “man to man here, I don't wanna get hit by Kirk again today, like yeah. It doesn't hurt. But I dont wanna keep making him upset. And I'm like 90% sure he's gonna rope you down to the bed if he has to deal with you, so pleas- ooohhh great the doctor is here this is just getting better and better” Noir waved to Dezzi with a nervous laugh, misery leaking through his wobbly smile.
“I wanna walk around damn it!!! I know I have to rest but I’ve been in bed for a week” He was so surprisngly strong even in his weakened state. “Kirk will just hit you anyway!”
Kale was sleeping on the deck as the commotion started. He'd had such a tiring day with all the walking and dealing with Pervy Chef and Gills and then having to put up with that old lady. He was such a brave soldier for putting up with all of that. Kale awoke and stood when Kanin made his way to the ship, spotting Leroy immediately trying to get up. He wasn't going to pitch in on putting him back down since Kale would do the exact same thing. Kale didn't recognize Dezzi since he'd long forgotten the cabin, so he approached Kirk and tapped him on the shoulder. "Who the hell's that guy?" He said, with a stern yet clueless look on his face. He truly had forgot
Kirk pinched the bridge of his nose. “Our new doctor.” He frowned down at Kale. “Which means you’ll have to be less of an idiot now unless you want to give the poor fella white hair.” Noir started tugging at Leroy even more. “You can walk around later! And I REALLY wanna delay getting hit! Sooo!”
“Their hair is already White!" Leroy shot back.
“NOT YET FOR THE NEW GUY’S YOU CARP! NOW GET BACK TO BED!”
“As your doctor I have to make you go back and lay down. You can’t be moving around all too much with those injuries” Looking down at their bag Dezzi would come to a simple conclusion which they honestly hadn’t thought about until seeing this man moving around when he shouldn't be “Though I may be able to get you back up and moving sooner than normal”

"See! They said its fine!" Leroy said pointing over the edge of the ship to Dezzi that was on the Docks.
“I did not say it’s fine, I said you had to go back to your bed” Dezzi was gonna force this man into bed if they had to "Those wounds could easily reopen if you're up and walking around right now"
"I'll be fine" He says as he pushes Noir away and waves for Dezzi to come on up "So! Did you decide to join us!"
“Yeah, I did decide to” Stepping on board, they would set their bag down and open it up, pulling out the flask from earlier, they would pull a cup out of their bag as well and pour a bit of the liquid into the cup “If you wanna keep moving around at least drink this, it will increase your recovery rate, which should allow you to keep walking around” They would hold the cup out to Leroy
"I heal quick anyway!" He says wobbling over and taking and downing it. His brow pursing "Ack!"
"Taste gross!" Smacked his lips a few times.
"But welcome aboard Dezzi! Kirk! We Ready!"
Kirk sighed heavily before giving in with a smile. “Alright. Good to have you on the crew, Dezzi. I hope you know what you’re getting into.” The navigator chuckled before heading to the whipstaff. “Raise anchor and lower the sails! Let’s get this boat moving!” “So, where are we headed to first, Captain? Chriton? Or… Arabasta?”
“Arabasta! I’m gonna kick that Marshals ass for sending a Bounty Hunter after me” He said waving his casted arm in the air. The civilians looked around a bit in shock as they clearly heard what Leroy had said
“Might as well say it again for the people in the back, why don’t you?” Kirk said grumpily but sighed and continued to the whipstaff. “Alright, I’ll set our course to Arabasta.”
Dezzi just watched. They realized they really didn’t know what they had just signed up for, obviously it was a pirate crew. What do pirate crews do? They were unsure so they decided to just focus on being helpful as a doctor for now
"Doctor eh? I don't think I get injured all that much..." Kale finally spoke up as the ship began to pull out of the dock, turning away from the dock and beginning to pick up the chilled wind.
Noir was off to getting the sails ready... And to the immense disappointment that Kale was asleep and not helping out, he was also going to raise the anchor.
Dezzi sat near the garden at the stern of the ship. Hands on the railing as they watched the Snowy Island, now partially molten, the only place they'd ever known as home. Pulled away from them as they finally were departing, taking the leap into the world. Their Beginning.
With that. A new crewmate acquired...The Red Sash Pirate Crew, pull out and away from the snowy molten island...Headed for the Kingdom of Arabasta...
