"Lunch?!" Leroy said as he scurried up off the figurehead and crawled his way to the Galley where he slammed into the seat he always sat in. Smacking his hands excitedly against the Table as he watched Noir Prep. "What'd you make this time No?" He spoke to the Chef. He'd taken to giving each of his crew nicknames. The only people that didn't have them were Kirk and Kale. Simple because their names were already so short.
Noir grinned over his shoulder at Leroy as he rushed in, making some time in between his prep to bring over a beautiful tea (of course decorated with a lemon slice cut and resting on the rim of the glass. Just a drink to give him something while he waited on Noir to finish. “Today, I’m serving up some cold soba salad! Lots of peppers, greens, and some meat for protein! I know smoothies don’t exactly pair well with soba of all things, but I thought it would be refreshing for this heat! And since banana can be a strong cover up, I used the extra greens and veggies from the soba to add to them, so it was a win win!” He turned back to what he was doing, chopping up strips of seaweed before sprinkling them onto the soba. He made sure to grab some green onions and sesame seeds too, garnishing the dish before picking up a bowl and brining it over to Leroy. “There’s plenty for seconds, so don’t be shy.”
"Ah! Wheres the meats!" He said discouraged, leaning back in a comedically exacerbated groan. He then shrugged and began to eat away at the salad soba, slurping it down it his fork and sipping down the Tea "Oh My Gawd, Yoo alwaysh Make the besht food Noir." Leroy said with his mouth full. Focusing on all the flavors of the dish.
“I put some fish in there, though it’s all shredded up. Don’t tell Kirk though.” Noir said with a wink and a grin. “I want to see if he can taste it or not. Current mission is to get him to the like the damn stuff since it’s real reliable out on the sea like this.” He went over to the door of the kitchen and called out again. “Last call for lunch! Leroy’s gonna eat it all if you guys don’t hurry up!”
“Kirks just not one for fish. Prefers vegetables and fruit. Pasta and stuff.” He spoke of his navigator. He did find it a little strange that he didn’t like fish, everyone likes fish. He’d remembered hearing about fishman cuisine that used a ton of salmon and tuna. But barnum wasn’t necessarily the most beneficial of people… “Yeah! Get in here before i eat it all!” He said with a smile “Its got fish in it!”
Noir froze and sllllllowly turned his head towards Leroy, the bottom of his eyelid twitching. “I…just told you …to not-” Of course, this upset the navigator, his shouting quickly coming from the top deck and was quickly approaching.
“NOOOIR! I TOLD YOU I DON’T LIKE FISH!!” Noir was instantly worried again, not ready for another bump on his head. “Kirk! Please, hear me out this time! Just try it!”
Leroy just smiled
Kale, upon hearing that Noir had prepared a meal for the crew, got up from his seated position. Lifting his swords and fastening them to his belt before turning to walk towards where the food was. He was still shirtless and shoeless and was going to point blank refuse to put on any more clothes. He sat at the table, next to Leroy. He looked down at the food on his plate, and then over to Leroy. He thought Leroy was overreacting to the food. He took his fork and began eating, slowly.

The food was tasty sure but Kale was rarely a lover of good food. Not like Leroy anyway. Kale audibly laughed when Leroy spilled the beans about the food having fish since that meant that Kirk couldn't eat it. Which Kale thought was very funny.
Jeanne had been up in the crow's nest tinkering on some of her ammunition and an upgraded weapon when she heard the call for Lunch. Her eyes squinted as she looked through the magnification of her goggles. Getting something just right before setting it town and poofing into a cloud of steam and reassimilating in the entrance of the Galley before sauntering over and sitting down at the left of Leroy. "Smells good Noir." She said with a hint of enthusiasm.
His absolute peril with the Navigator slipped his mind for the moment as he quickly started to grin and clasp his hands together happily in front of himself. Of course, Noir was all giddy and flustered when Jeanne complemented anything relating to him. “Of course, Jeanne-Chan! I’d only make the best for you! I wouldn’t dare make anything unappetizing for a fair lady like yourself!” Suddenly Kirk came up behind him, scowling and having his hands on his hips.
“Oh, but you’ll make it for someone like me?” Noir yelped and jumped away, mortified. “You said you didn’t like the taste!! And stuff!! At least… give it a try?” Kirk huffed, shaking his head before giving in surprisingly and sitting at the table. “You’re lucky I’m hungry, lover boy.” Noir quickly brought over drinks and bowls for both the navigator and the sniper. “Did anyone see where Dezzi is? I don’t want them to miss out, I have to figure out what they like after all”
Dezzi would set their little ‘project’ to the side and make their way to the galley, stepping in and finding a seat at the table “Sorry for being late, I was working on a new form of medicine...” They then repositioned their mask so as to be able to eat without taking it off, they had grown accustomed to doing so over the years
"Hey Dezzi!!" Leroy said Excietedly as he finished his plate.
Jeanne couldn't help but smile in amusement at the bickering between the Navigator and the Chef. "Pshihihihi...Will Kirk ever give it a shot?" She said looking over too Leroy. He gave a 'Really?' his brow pursing slightly in amusement as he shrugged "I haven't a clue!"
"Come on Kirk! It's good for you! Lot of Vitamins!" Leroy said leaning on top the Table. Which caused both Jeanne and Leroy to laugh "PSHAHAHAA!" "AHAHAHA!" Leroy put his head down and beat the table slightly with his fist. Jeanne covering her face as well as the two laughed
Kirk sent a disappointed gaze to the both of them. “I don’t see how this is a funny situation.” His eyebrows would soon furrow as he thought about what Jeanne said to Leroy. Of course he would give it a shot! He wasn’t SCARED of food or something! Even if…. The fish… was very disgusting and bone shivering….and probably was super slimey and gross…. Noir had fortunately not mixed the fish into the cold soba when he was cooking it, so if Kirk really didn’t like it still, he wouldn't go hungry. Kirk took up his chop sticks, hesitated, and then oh so bravely scooped some of the food into his mouth.
