Chapter 94: Declare Your Dreams!

Chapter 94: Declare Your Dreams!

Leroys eyes could barely catch it, not as good as the sniper could.

Kirk peered out of the doorway, spotting what Jeanne was talking about barely, having to squint his eyes hard to be able to see it. He eventually lined up the ship to start heading that direction, feeling the creak of the whip staff as the ship leaned gently.

“There, we will be there soon!” It was safe for now to step away from the caravel, just for a moment, simply to marvel at the fact they were finally… finally there. His heart was nearly beating out of his chest. It was incredible he ever got this far. Kirk grinned toothily up at the mountain, putting a hand against his forehead to protect his eyes from the rain. His flannel shirt was becoming soaked and was sticking to his body, his fins and gills sticking out like sore thumbs.

He couldn’t care less now though, he was surrounded by good people. Good friends. And they were all at the starting line for their great adventure!

Leroys eyes suddenly widened as he thought of something Grabbing the railing and Hopping over the side of the bow and down onto the deck, he ran into the storage room and pulled out an Empty barrel!

"We gotta a few minutes before we're there! Lets make these last few minutes in the East Blue Special!" The then Sat down the Barrel and sat his leg on brim of the wooden container.

"To Becoming King of The Pirates!"

He Said declaring his goal with a smile on his face, The water splashing in his face. It was a moment of sincerity, despite all of the chaos around them, the smell of the sea spray, the harsh wind. It was Exhilarating to the Captain

Kirk’s attention was caught by Leroy placing his foot heartily onto the rim of the barrel, announcing and almost challenging the world with his exclamation. A laugh came from deep from his heart as he started to approach the Captain. “Good idea, captain!”

Kirk lifted his own foot and planted the sole of his shoe onto the rim of the barrel beside Leroy’s. His hands were proudly resting on his hips as his own toast fell from his lips.

“To mapping the entire world!”

Jeanne disappeared into a burst of steam from the crow's nest as everything seemed to be coming to the correct course. As she did Leroy suggested a sort of toast. To their journey into the Grand Line. A bit of an odd tradition she never really got the point of, but was more than willing to contribute to for her friends. She chuckled a little as she got around the the barrel with the other two. Heel of her boot clacking upon the rim of the lid.

"To become a world renowned inventor!"

Kále stood next to Jeanne with his leg up on the barrel He awaited his turn, hearing everyone's dreams out loud really put everything into perspective. This crew of weirdos, criminals, and... Jeanne were about to embark on a very ambitious journey.

"To becoming the World's Strongest Swordsman!"

A genuine, joyous smile came across his face. These last few weeks were some of the best of Kále's entire life. There was simply no one, other than the group of rascals around him, that he'd rather share this moment with.

Noir looked at the group with excitement, enough to the peak through his somewhat serious expression. It was odd… having friends. Of course, he was very close to everyone back at the Rose Arbor, but that was different. It was having these friends here, people just as crazy him with their dreams, and they were soon to cross into the Grand Line. Like hell he wasn’t about to join in! Noir came in last, his foot filling in the last spot against the barrel, like the finale puzzle piece to the crew.

He leaned against his leg, his forearm pressing against his knee. It didn’t take him long to shout out his own dream.

“To Finding the Fantasy that Lies in the Sea! And Find The All Blue!"

A smile spread across his face as he took in the scene before him.

The Captain Smiled. Looking around to his crew. He couldn't believe that he actually had a crew.

A group of people he could trust, and rely on. And these people, every single one of them, relied on him as well His heart felt like it was swelling with joy, that creeping feeling of a smile made its way across his cheeks.

But the Moment was short lived as they began to close in closer and closer to the Gap.

When suddenly a huge torrent of rain and wave hit them from the side! Causing them to be knocked off course just barely! They weren't lined cup with the entrance to the Reverse mountain any more! Strange arches seemed to be Lining the canal with in the first small stretch of the Water way!

Leroy turned to the Navigator "Quick! The Whip staff!" Spoke the Captain as he Ran up to the bow of the ship!

Kirk was instantly thrown off guard and nearly fell as the strong winds shoved their ship, forcing him to sling his arms out to his sides to managed to catch himself. He saw the problem as soon as Leroy did and gave him a quick, strong nod before hurrying back towards the caravel. He hurried to the whipstaff, grabbing the top of it and started to push them in the right direction again. As he pulled, the ship started to slowly get back onto its course, but it didn’t seem fast enough at all.

They might miss it or even crash into the side of the mountain if they didn’t start getting aligned again fast enough!

“Someone shout if I’m getting too close to the wall!” He barked out from his position, knowing he was going to try hard to make their movement sharp enough to make it to the entrance, which meant he couldn’t keep glancing out. He kept the imagery of the opening in his mind, including the direction and position of the ship, and started to pull hard against the whip staff, digging his foot into the planks below him.

..ccrrrRRRCCKKK!! His hands rocketed back into his own chest, making him stumble back a bit. It took his a few blinks of surprise to asses the situation… and instantly, his heart dropped. The hand shaped whip staff had come straight off, and he was clutching onto it right at that moment. Kirk’s eyes grew to the size of dinner plates.

“AAAAEEEEH!! NOO! WHY NOW?!"
