The horizons palm gently floated through the waters, it was about four days after the intense debacle and events from the Rose Arbor and Cocoyashi Leroy was under the deck, stretching his arms and yawning as he woke up from a nap, smacking his lips a few times to wet his mouth Hopping off his bunk he walked slowly over to the mast and climbed the ladder to the deck
His silver eyes adjusted to the bright Mid day sun, he wore a pair of baggy sweatpants that were thin, a tight light colored shirt clung too his chest, all topped off with his Red Sash around his waist
As Leroy would step onto the top deck Kale was already awake and dressed. He was still wearing his outfit from days prior, his green trousers, black boots. He wasn't wearing his jacket or his undershirt however, they were in a ball on the ground a few feet away from Kale. He was, as always, training.
But, not with weights, he had the brand new sword that he took from Sujikiki in his hands and he was swinging it back and forth. Getting his bearings with Ittoryu once more. Mainly overhead slashes, bringing the sword down in a powerful slashing motion. Then, he would spin around and deliver a left-to-right slash.
"Issen-Ho!" He would yell out, sending a powerful slash of air into the air away from the ship. It was like a burst from a fan. But unconcentrated. Powerful, but Unrefined. The slash would rock the ship a little as it was quite strong. Probably disturbing the other crew if they were still sleeping, or just making Kirk pissed because he's being interrupted again.
Although Kirk had been a bit on the quit for the last few days, surely still recovering from Cocoyashi, his sassy flare was definitely coming back. "Cut it out over there!"
The Fishman shouted from the little garden he was tending to. While he wasn't the best at taking care of plants, he was taking what he remembered seeing Oliko do and trying his best. Fortunately, Noir knew a little bit about gardening as well since they used to grow some produce back at Rose Arbor. "You're gonna cut the halyard if you aren't careful!" Kirk scrunched his nose at the swordsman before tending back to his garden.
Not only were there flowers such as Jasmine and Roses, but also blue lotus. But also a Lemon Tree. With a variety of other.
Noir was standing at the edge of the ship, beside the railing. He was staring out at the sea, watching the light of the sun flash against the waves sharply. It looked like he was stressed... but really, he was just trying to think of what to make for lunch for everyone. Upon finding out Kirk wouldn't eat fish, it was a bit harder, but Noir was fine with coming up with solutions. He was thinking about what each of the crew might want the most today... For a moment, he seemed extremely giddy, a sudden twist in his thinking expression.
When going down his list of crewmates, his mind crossed over their inventory: Jeanne. He didn't realize it before, but he was literally spending hours on end on a ship that held an absolutely beautiful lady. If a cigarette was in his mouth, smokey hearts would've been floating into the air. It was about time he made a simple treat for her, right? It was midday! He started to turn around and head towards the kitchen, all smiley and pleased for no obvious reason when he spotted Leroy. "Hey, Captain! You hungry? About to fix up some lunch!"

Leroy gave a simple chatter back and forth between the Chef and Himself.
Jeanne meanwhile was on deck. She rarely got out her chemistry kit, but she needed to diversify her ammunition a bit. So right now she was working testing some formulas for explosives she knew. Given lack of need she wasn't exactly used to chemistry applications like this, mostly having just read them in books. In order to test these formula she decided to work at the smallest reasonable scale she could. Given she didn't know how much force these would yield exactly.
She jumped a little as the ship rocked from Kale swinging his sword again, having loaded some of the compounds into hollowed out whole egg shells. She would need to find a more sophisticated solution than this for with her weapon, but for testing the reaction strength of the compounds this would suffice.
"Hey we got any empty barrels?", she would shout out as she sealed off the eggs. Making sure to mark them with skulls so no dummy tried to crack one open and lose their fingers. "I need to test these out and I don't wanna damage the ship."
Giving another yawn and a stretch, Leroy answered his Sniper Crewmate. "There should be some empty ones in the store room, I'm pretty sure I saw some in there..."
He wiped his eyes Lazily as he walked over to jeanne and leaned in to look at what she was doing "Might want a better case for that. If you're wanting something to explode, you may want to make a concoction that only becomes useable when its...Activated. Like shaking it then throwing. Like a safety."
Well that was a surprise. Who knew that the captain, a man most saw as a goofball, was so...smart. Having connected the dots to what the sniper was doing by merely seeing the eggs and the chemistry kit.
"Could also make some smoke bombs with that Potassium Nitrate and Sugar and Melt them together..." He then Yawned again before resting his head against the wood he leaned on. "For Smoke Bombs..."
Jeanne blinked as Leroy basically read her mind on the casings causing her to let out a bit of a chuckle. "Those are both good ideas. I had planned on making some better casings when I get the materials though, right now this is just a test on compound potency.", she would say before heading towards the hold.
“..Eh?” Kirk twitched his head back in surprise before his eyes shifted towards the sound of Leroy’s voice. An unusually distraught expression crossed his face. “…Alright, how does a numskull like you know how to make smoke bombs and ‘concoctions’?”
He was starting to put up all the supplies he was using and was starting to head towards the main deck. He has a slight frown on his face and a hand on his hip.
While he was very impressed with Leroy’s knowledge, he had reason to be wary from how quickly he picks new crewmates and how he was a bit Willy nilly with their cash, just like back at Orange Town and that sack of candy (Kirk didn’t even get one piece! Not like he cared, but how dare!)
Leroy Stretched his arms over his head again, his eyes squinting with a slight tear in his eye from the yawn "Pretty Simple kirk. I used to read a ton of Books on Science. That and Sparrow's Doctor. Dr. Perox always Carried a Bag of Chemicals on him. He'd always show me these cool science experiments and Let me read his book!"
