In an instant Leroys head shot up, snapping out of his focus and looking to the distance His eyes widened with surprise, before turning into shock. "Kirk!" Before his words fully left his mouth, he was already up, running to the man, and catching him in his arms. The two falling to their knees.
"Oh my god, Kirk! What the hells happened to you." He pulled the man away and looked him up and down. Jeanne behind him suddenly cupping her mouth with a fearful look. Tears welling in her eyes "Oh-Kirk!"
His gills looked red, and almost inflamed, his wrist. They were cuffed! And with out a second of hesitation, Leroy gripped the metal and tore them asunder, the metal crushing like an aluminum can under his grip before being tossed away. He grabbed the man by the shoulders, and looked him in the eyes. The Captains silvery irises were hardened, and filled with a sense of conviction as he spoke "Who did this to you."
His words held no malice. Held no contempt for the navigator. Only worry for his friend. Questioning only who was responsible for the tattered state he was in The humans and fishmen around them stared in awe.
They'd never truly seen what someone looked like after being caught by Barnum, only seeing the dead corpses of those that opposed them. But to actually see the desolate state that the Bullshark-Man would put even a fellow member of his own race through... It both terrified, and caused a stir in their hearts for Kirk. In that moment, many among the crowd had began to truly understand why kirk had done exactly what he had...
His voice was a small choked-up mess of sobs, it had taken him a moment to be able to speak. He was just so glad Leroy was here.
"B-Barnum..! He-... He's... It's all his fault... a-all of this!" Kirk didn't really need to mention around, but clearly, he was talking about the town and himself. Letting Leroy grab onto him, he tried his best to keep eye contact. He rubbed at his own wrists, incredibly thankful that the cuffs were off.
"Kirk...I need you to be strong, Okay? Everything going to be okay." He looked him into the eyes as he reassured the man "Tell me Where is he."
Kirk nearly broke down even further as Leroy told him it would be alright. He definitely didn’t think he could be strong, especially after what happened. “N-No… no it won’t… she-“ He broke off into a few more heaves and sobs. “She’s gone! I-.. I lied to her! Barnum..! He-..”
His head hung down suddenly, his whole body racking from his crying. Kirk felt all of the eyes of the town piercing through him. He just wanted to hide. Forcing himself to stop rambling, Kirk lifted his arm up shakily and pointed a finger in the direction behind him, where he had come running from.
“The c-compound… he’s that way…” He lifted his head up a bit, finally meeting his gaze. “I.. I’m so sorry… Leroy..”
“But p-please… help me”
Kirk would feel a sudden warmth wrap around his neck. But it wasn't the embrace of a hug, or a pair of hands, but the feeling of cloth.
Wrapped around the neck of the distraught navigator, was none other than the Red Sash that Leroy wore on him at all time. His greatest treasure.

He wrapped it around the mans neck a few times, the radiant warmth of the Captains body heat still lingering behind as he wrapped.
"Of course." He spoke, not in that loud, brash and abrasive voice that he always spoke in. But a soft, kind tone. One of reassurance.
Before he was finished wrapping, he looked up to see that all the people of Cocoyashi were staring in sheer disbelief of the sight. A man shakily looked around, he appeared to be a goldfish fishmen human hybrid. He looked as though he couldn't contain his nervousness before suddenly speaking up
"Yeah! He's...He's off the Coast that way! Just like he said!" The Goldfish-Man then slinked back. Looking around even more nervously as the others looked at him with shock. Shock that anyone would risk even uttering and giving away information about Barnum. He simply responded with a "What? I had to say something..."
Turning around, he took a deep breath. And with closed eyes shot his arms to the side, letting a mighty roar from his throat "YESSS!"
With out even a word more, Leroy nodded and began his walk to the Palm. He gazed to the rest of his crew and gave a simple command
"Lets Go."
The rest of the crew spoke plainly "Right!"
The echoes of the steps walking up the plank as Kirk stood to his feet and watched the Crew, his Crew, march their way onto the ship that he'd stolen, all to take the fight directly to Barnum.
With a burst of steam Jeanne would launch herself into the crow's nest. Even with the basic attack plan it would probably be best if she had a good view. They were probably going to be fighting fishmen. Fishmen in their element no less. It would be best if she could see them coming to warn the others.
Kale was still shirtless, and shoeless, wearing only his black trousers and his white headband wrapped around his right arm. His hair flowing slightly in the wind as it dropped down on his face and down his back, since he hadn't tied it back. No swords... wait, no swords? Shit, how was he going to fight. "I still have no swords..." He said quietly to himself, not wanting to disturb Leroy with his comment. He'd probably find some swords at this compound, there was no way these Fishmen didn't have any swords... right?
Stopping his Cigarette out beneath his shoe, Noir Adjusted his tie tight around his collar. Hell of a first day with a crew, he thought to himself.
As The crew finished walking up the plank of wood that lead onto his ship, the Grouper fish from before spoke out to Leroy "Do You have a Plan of attack?!"
Lowering the sail, the Visage of The Red Sash Jolly Roger proudly flapping and waving Leroy simply smiled and said. "Attack."
