Chapter 159: The City Of Arid

Chapter 159: The City Of Arid

Kale stood apart from the rest of the crew, watching as Azar drove off down the Nile River on his very cool motorcycle. Kale thought if there was ever a reason to eat a devil fruit, a motorcycle would definitely be the reason to do so. Beyond that, he smiled at Azar's back. He was very glad to have met Leroy's brother, it helped him understand more about his Captain and helped reinforce his own belief in Leroy. That conversation was not one Kále would soon forget, even with his terrible memory. He hoped to see Azar again, someday, maybe when Leroy is closer to achieving his dream.

“No idea.” Kirk said with a slight frown to Leroy’s Sabaody question. While he was happy for Leroy meeting his brother again and getting whatever this Vivire Card thing is to make sure his brother was alright.. he was worried for Azar’s safety. “Do you think he will be alright? I mean, he is going after the guy who destroyed Dezzi’s village, right? That’ll be really tough..” Kirk placed his hands on his hips, watching Azar speed away on his motorcycle.

Dezzi was completely enamored with Azar’s motorcycle, barely paying attention to anything else until Kirk mentioned their village "Wasn't my village, I lived in the woods with Oslar. I really only ever went into town if Dr. Oslar needed help with a patient or there was some book I really wanted”

They hadn’t really thought about it, but the crew probably thought they lived in town like everyone else “But I get what you mean... That Black Beard brought destruction to the entire island rather quickly, I just hope Azar knows what he’s doing going after someone like that” They were worrying just off of the principal that they were a doctor and heard that this man was going after someone who destroyed every town on an island

"He'll be fine! My Brother's super Strong!" Leroy said confidently as he put his hands on his hips. Jeanne Piped up from behind them and asked "Just how strong is he?" She had a slightly worried tone, much like the other two did. "When we were Kids, I used to fight with Azar all the time! But I was never able to beat him! And this was even before he at his devil fruit!" He said pridefully, confident in his brother's strength.

“Someone that you couldn't beat?” Kirk said with raised eyebrows, looking at Leroy surprised before turning his eyes back to where Azar was once zooming off. “Jeez, and I thought you were the monster here. Thank god that beast is on our side.” Kirk sighed, a bit exasperated. While there was the whole Rango situation, Azar continuously beat Leroy WITHOUT a devil fruit. Now that reassured him. Even if they were kids.

"The Brother of a Monster is an Even Bigger Monster..." Jeanne said, folding her arms under her cloak. The Heat is getting to her again Not even a few moments later. A voice came from the other end of the ship. One not from the crew "Hey! Anyone up there!" The voice was deep. And partially hoarse. Leroy turned around and looked over the edge to see a tall man with a bandana around his forehead. His attire was similar to those of Serket, Baggy linen pants that wrapped around his calves, a loose cape-esque linen fabric wrapped around his waist that reached the middle of his thighs

Kále looked down over the edge of the boat, spotting the one-armed man. Obviously, that was the first thing he noticed, he stared at the man for a moment before turning around. Headed to leave the ship, in a more... civilized way, compared to Leroy.

Before leaving the ship, Kále picked up his swords, which he had removed earlier when he was working out. He fastened them to the belt around his Thobe, he then got off of the ship and walked over to where Leroy and the Revolutionary were, it seemed that this guy was gonna be their guide for this part of the journey.

Jeanne slowly came down from the ship, and the rest of the crew soon followed. Standing behind Kale and Leroy. Aton watched as the rest of the crew unboarded. Kiki was the last off the ship, to which Aton bowed and spoke "Your Majesty, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance yet again."

"The Pleasure is all mine, Aton. I promised I'd be a part of this fight, right?" Kiki wasn't very physically strong. But she'd made a promise to the people that whenever the fight happened. She'd fight side by side. In her father's stead, the people at large didn't know about this plan until only days ago. "That you did. But now that you're all here. If you'd follow me, I'll lead you to Arid base." The journey wasn't long at all. Though it was winding traversing through the streets of Arid. Eventually, the Group was brought to a large building. The front of which was littered and decorated with small camps and tents. People from a wide variety of people, young and old. Though there were no children and no elderly.

Making sure that they were safe in Serket "You know, we'd actually reached out to The Militia Movement at one point. Tigre or one of his Subordinates had accepted, though they mentioned they couldn't get it done as quickly as King Ramze wanted. Mentioning that other countries needed help too. But King Ramze ended up declining and didn't want them involved..."

"Seems like his mind changed on that..." Said Jeanne. "Guess that means the Milita likes to take their time, I guess." Leroy said, impartial about if they were fast or slow. As long as people got free. "That is true. They are meticulous, building up over time to insure success." Spoke Aton

Kirk was pleased to see the absence of kids at the campsite, making him trust the kingdom a little bit more. People who couldn’t defend themselves didn’t deserve to be forced into this battle just for the sake of fodder and numbers. He would’ve instantly turned around and head straight back to the ship if he saw that. “I don’t think taking your time in a situation like this is really… good.” Kirk commented, scrunching up his nose. “Sad that you didn’t get more help, but seriously.”

Aton looked over his shoulder as he lead them into the large building. Kiki spoke up for her father "Daddy always wanted this done himself...We were lucky that Geeve found you guys, and he finally gave up his pride and ego to allow for outside help..."

The Inside of the building was large and spacious. Something that could fit hundreds and hundred of people. If not a thousand or more. Leroy then questioned "Rammy said that there would be a quarter of a Million soldiers...Where are they?"

Aton finally spoke again "You haven't noticed? Everyone in the city you just walked by is a soldier. Every single one of them. This entire town as been refitted temporarily to hold The Revolting Force of Arabasta" This made the Captains eyes widen. He did find it strange that everyone was so, specific. Age, weight, and so on. Those physically able were all in this town. Coming to the end of a Hallway, Aton continued speaking "This here is the War Room. It where I got the call from King Ramze."

"And it's where I'll be going over the plans for the Mission..." In the middle of the Table was a large map of Aluba Capital. The crew all circled around it. Kiki Stood next To Leroy
