Making their way through the Desert. The Red Sash Pirates zoomed through the Sandy Island at Mach Speed! It was a Speed that a few of them were used to moving at, but it was strange to be moving like this for such a prolonged period of time. It was bound to mess up Kirk and Noirs Hair!
The Entire Way Leroy seemed to have a Diabolical Grin on his face as they Road the Birds. His grip was white knuckle on the Reigns. As he constantly whipped around and went ahead of the group. Before slowing down for the rest to catch up. Jeanne was honestly not handling the high speed, a nervous grimace on her face as she too white knuckled the Reigns. She’d never gone this fast before! She didn’t think she’d ever go this fast again!
But if there was one thing that was a positive from this sheer soul shaking experience, it was that she was at least getting some ideas for upgrades! But it didn’t help that she felt like she was going to be sick to her stomach at any moment… Dust from the Sandy Dunes spewed in the air as they sped through the Desert.
Over the Horizon came into view a large cloud that seemed to block out the sun that was rising through the air. It was unlike any normal cloud that was already in the sky. It was deep green and black in color. Blotting out the Sun in its entirety. Soon, over the Horizon, the Source of the Smog came into view. The Capital of Aluba. The City was elevated a few hundred feet off the ground, almost as though it sat atop a stump of a mountain.
The City stretched across the horizon for 5 kilometers. What was once a beautiful and Vibrant Capital of a Kingdom, was now what looked to be a City in Ruin. From the West clear plums of Smog pumped into the air by large smoke stacks. Pipes were laid into the ‘stump’ of the Kingdom. Protruding like worms in a rotten apple. Sounds of Fighting could barely be heard on the wind. Even from over 4 kilometers away. The Super Sonic Birds Instinctually began to slow down. Reaching a leisurely 200 km/h as they approached.
The Wicked look on Leroys face melted away into a look of utter worry. “What the Hell…” Jeanne shared the Sentiment “Holy Shit…Look at that…” ’The Entire thing’s a mess!’ she thought to herself as the bird began to slow down.
Kále stared ahead at the city, hearing the sounds of war up above. His left hand moved to the hilt of Senkusha, resting there as a form of comfort for him. "That's certainly something." He didn't know what else to say in regards to the battle, it was always upsetting when a country comes to such a battle. Even though Kále was, formerly, a Wandering Blade who revelled in war, he never truly enjoyed the sight
“My god..” Noir muttered, flipping his head to the side to get some strands of hair hanging down in front of his face away so he could actually see the destruction. His hands held on a bit harder to the reigns.
“Thats all the more reason fight for this place.” Kirk said as his bird came up closer to the crew. While he was horrified for the people of this city and country and how much damage alone was caused by this fighting… he also was insanely annoyed at his hair messing up. Yeah yeah, he knows, his hair is way less important than peoples lives… but if he was going to fight and be known as a part of this crew, he better look his best!

“Is that the capital? It looks, for lack of a better word, diseased.” Dezzi was imagining how many people were already injured, not just from the fighting, but also from being forced to work near whatever is causing all that smog
"Yeah...Looks...Rotten..." Jeanne said, Genuine concern crossing the sniper's face Leroy Spoke next. “We should Split up, You all know what to do. I’m gonna go this way, make my way in from the other side of the City.” His voice was serious and stern. Yet had all the confidence in the world. Exactly what the crew had come to expect from the captain. And without a second's thought, he suddenly whipped the reins and zoomed through the desert at hundreds of miles an hour. Dust shooting up into the air in a dust cloud trailing behind him
“Leroy!” Kirk called after his captain, having his hand in front of his face to clear the dust. He just sighed in defeat, knowing it was pointless now. “Alright, captain's orders.”
Kále nodded to the Sentiment "Captains Orders..." With that. The Remaining crew continued on their way to the Capital

Fifteen Minutes Before the Red Sash Pirates had awoken. The War Raged inside the Capital. Gunfire, Cannon fire, Blades clanging together, Blood-Curdling screams all of it echoed around the Capital far and wide!
Kiki ran through one of the streets, a rifle in her hands, gripped with a white knuckle hold, this was nothing that she had thought it would be. In the street she ran down, corpses littered the ground, and blood splattered against the walls. It was horrifying in the princess's mind. Wounds ached from her abdomen where a ragged piece of cloth was tied in place, stopping the blood from a bullet graze she’d taken near the beginning of the assault! Her face was covered in dirt and scuffs, blood dried against her forehead from a nasty fall. Suddenly, black-clothed men came around the corner, swords raised! “There she is! Get that bitch!”
In an instant, Kiki dived behind a collection of barrels and hastily pulled the bolt back on her rifle back. ‘Only Two rounds left…Every shot until now was a bunch of warning shots! Shit!’ She thought as she slammed the bolt back into place, and swiftly raised, shouldering the butt of the rifle, one of her hot-pink eyes clenched shut as she peered down the Iron Sights. Her hands shook as everything seemed to halt for a moment. But in reality, her mind was in such a rush that it was going haywire! ‘Shit! Shit, Shit, Shit, Shit! Can I do it? All it’d take is one bullet! Just one! And I’d be able to keep fighting! Everyone else is fighting tooth and nail! My People! And I can’t even…!’ Her breathing suddenly picked up as she clenched her teeth! It was do or die!
