*Splitting up sounded like a Bad Idea.*
“I would like to go and see if there are any books about medicine, maybe do a bit of research on any form of herbs that grow on this island… maybe one of those could help with my project” They were working on getting their shemagh on properly, as they had not worn one before
Leroy walked with the group, but as he did, the delightful scent of a distant aroma filled his nose causing him to take a deep whiff of the air. It smelled delightful, the scent of cooking meat, the savory aroma that his stomach knew all too well, but just slightly different. It must've been something unique to the island! The smells made his stomach grumble...He couldn't help himself!
His mouth watered and salivated as he suddenly split off from the group and sprinted down the road! He sprinted so fast that the air and sound barrier broke around him! Causing him to leave a dust cloud trail in his wake! People coughing as they were engulfed by it
“Wh- Leroy!” Kirk shouted after him as the man practically disappeared within a plume of cartoonish dust from how fast he ran off. The navigator was about to reach out and call for him…. But ended up sighing heavily. “Oh screw that, I am not running in this heat.”
Noir personally blinked wildly in surprise at the scene… and sorta looked around at the group. Being one of the newer crewmates, he didn’t know what protocol to follow in the case of a disappearing captain. “Err…do we… go after him or?”
Kále was undisturbed by Leroy suddenly running off. Leroy could handle himself, he'd seen it before. Like on Louge, where he ran off and then reappeared. Kále had worried at that time but since then he'd built up his own trust in Leroy and was able to relax, even when he runs off like a madman. He continued walking, and without turning to look at Noir he responded to his question. "He'll be fine, but someone oughta go after him. Knowing him he'll charge around and demand that someone tell him where that Marshal guy is."
Dezzi was not expecting their captain to just run off like that, and as such was just taken aback “Does uhh... Does he do that often? Kind of feels like it could be an issue if he always runs off like that...?"
“Yeah this is normal.” Kirk said blandly, turning around with his hands on his hips. He looked VERY unamused. “We’ll catch up with him at some point, let’s walk around town and see what we can find. I doubt he’ll end up finding himself at wherever that Marshal is at before we ask around.” Noir kinda blinked in the direction of the dust settling at where their captain just ran off before slowly just giving in and accepting that happened, moving on like Kirk did. “Alright, if we are gonna look around then we should split up.”

“Yup, though one of us will have to go alone. I don't trust Kále to find his way back… sooo someone needs to go with him.” Kirk started to plan out their course of action. “I can lie pretty well and get stuff cheap, so I can go alone just for efficiency. I can also figure out where Hornigold is too.” Honestly, he didn't care who went off by their own, he just knew that someone needed to keep Kále in line and he wasn't about to be the one to volunteer.
Kále had already begun walking away from the group. All that conversation was simply too much for him to keep track of, so he just opted out and began walking down the street. In the opposite direction of where Leroy had run off to. Clearly, he was not going to search for Leroy... he probably didn't even remember that Leroy ran off.
Dezzi would notice Kále wandering off and as such they quickly decided to follow him “Hey, I'll follow Kále and make sure he gets back to the ship alive” They weren’t all too sure why the others didn’t trust him with getting back, but that wasn’t why they were following him. The scars. He seems like the most likely to get injured and Dezzi was not about to leave him alone if that was true Quickly catching up to Kále they would walk to the right of him, just following him to wherever he went next
“I’ll go with Jeanne then!!” Noir’s hand shot up excitedly, a huge grin on his face. Perfect! Another chance for some alone time with the sniper! Walking around with a beautiful lady while getting to scope out other pretty women? It was like a dream come true! “Sure sure, whatever” Kirk waved his hand dismissively in the air. Jeanne would keep the lapdog on a short leash and make sure he didn’t run off to go be a pervert. “Just head somewhat in that direction.” He pointed towards where Leroy ran off. “ See if you can find out where Leroy ran off to, ‘kay? I’ll head that way too, but I’ll be further off.”
“Got it!” Noir said before giving Jeanne a little bow, allowing her to lead the way before following after her. Kirk split off. “If you hear any chaos, don’t be dumb!”
“I’m sure we’ll just have to follow the embedded foot prints and dust trail.” Jeanne said with a grin as she looked over to noir. “Lets go Noir, be best for us to not get Too split up.” She said as she began to follow the trail of dust that was beginning to settle into the ground like snow
“Of course!! Wow, you’re so smart, Jeanne-Chan, it’s incredible! Not to mention all of those weapons you made and the things you tinker on..!” As they walked, Noir rattled on about how amazing Jeanne was, too caught up in his daydreams to realize following the path Leroy made in his mad sprint for meat was common sense.
