Dear Diary,

We suspect the cycle will end tomorrow. There’s a party that’s way in the lead, and knowing they’re far ahead has made a couple other parties push themselves.

I think the lead party skipped sleeping for a day or two. It’s a bad idea, but not completely lethal. Especially since next cycle we’ll probably be staying on Floor 1 the whole time. They can catch up on sleep there.

I don’t think I’d be able to do it. I don’t have, like, strong opinions on sleep, but it is kinda a necessary thing. If I was in a party where someone suggested skipping sleep, I’d be against it.

Oh, Lex and Tim are still with us. I can’t remember if they’ve lasted this long before. Well, usually we’ve left them with the gingerbread people, so we didn’t even try getting them to the end. But still, having them with us the whole time has been fun.

I just like having cuddly pets. Life would be very sad if I didn’t have anything to cuddle.

Avi tried making them bow ties, and it kinda worked for a few minutes. They didn’t like the ties, tho, and ended up eating them. We were slightly worried about their health after that, but they seem fine. And honestly, if they weren’t ok, we could send them home super easy.

I will say, putting cute things on velociraptors is a lot easier than putting cute things on dracoraptors. Avi thinks the dracoraptors made it more fun, which… Nostalgia must seriously be coloring his memories if he thinks being repeatedly eaten was “more fun”.

I’d accept “more exciting”. Holding a mildly upset floof as someone puts a fancy collar on it isn’t particularly exciting. But carefully tricking a feathered murderdino slightly taller than we are into sitting still, then trying to put something on it without being eaten, is exciting.

I should tell Avi to make tuxedos for the dracoraptors again. For old time’s sake. We never did get them to accept wearing one. Trying again would be-

No, there’s no good way of finishing that sentence. At least, not if I want to claim to be sane.

Changing the subject! Samuel hasn’t suggested any kind of shenanigan for next cycle. He didn’t get in trouble for the beach party, he just hasn’t thought of anything that could be better.

I mean, how do you beat a beach party?

We’ll probably see the kobolds tomorrow, I’ll have to ask someone what’s better than a beach party. I’m sure there’s something, but I can’t think of anything.

I’ll go ask Mika if she has any ideas.

Next cycle I’ll have you decide on what races you want the people in your dungeons to be. There must be two options, but duplicates between Admins are allowed. I only ask for some way of differentiating them. Starting in Cycle 26, I’ll expect you to start changing everyone into those races.

On Cycle 27, I want you to begin assigning people to the towns and cities you’ve been working on. I know you aren’t finished; complete the world with the races inhabiting it in mind.

You’re progressing fast enough I believe the world will be completely ready on Cycle 29.
