Dear Diary,
I still haven't figured out how to do the rainbow effect. But I did figure out how to layer colors over things, so in a cheating way I'm back to having green hair! I do like green hair. It feels so much better than grey hair.
I’ve been changing Avi’s hair color every half-hour or whenever I remember. He just likes lighter colors. Like, I tried dark purple and red, but he wants lilac and dusty pink.
…I will admit, the lilac did look nice. That and the sky blue were probably best. Something to do with his skin tone I think.
I… Look, I don't hate his hair. The way he styles it and the way it feels are very nice. Most of the time I don't even think about it. It’s just that when I do think about it, I would like his hair to have color in it.
He knows my opinion, but as a neko changing it would mean changing magic type. Which he doesn't want to do. And if he changed it like how I'm doing, it’d be like he’s hiding something from me. Like he can't be himself around me. I want him to be completely himself, so my dislike of grey hair on young people is just something I’ll have to put up with until we get old and I get grey hair, too.
Unless… Do nekos even get grey hair? I mean, our hair color is decided by magic. So wouldn't the magic keep it colored? Which would mean even old people won't have grey hair.
Huh. If old people don't have grey hair, then grey hair wouldn't be an old people thing.
This might change things.

Oh, Admin 5 asked if I know how to make meringue. Meringue is like the easiest thing ever to make. She said getting almond flour for macarons is more difficult than she’d thought it would be, but meringue is kinda similar so she’ll take a plate of meringue cookies instead.
I'd like to emphasize the “she said” part of that sentence. Like, I kiiiiiiinda see where she’s coming from? But… no.
I don't know, I'll try making them kinda rounded and put a creamy filling between them? Might maybe be kinda sorta macaron-ish?
As soon as I get access to an oven, of course. Which should be tomorrow.
Goodnight, Dungeon!

The Director rubbed her face.
She could not find any communication between the catgirl Athena and Admin 6. Not in messages, not in person, not in physical notes.
Her suspicion that it had something to do with Samuel hadn't revealed anything.
And her suspicion that Nikki had something to do with it only revealed an enthusiastic conversation between the girl and Admin 5 about French confections.
Alas, the Director had other things to do.
She decided to set this mystery aside for now. She’d come back to it soon, but for now their secret message system would remain secret.
Meanwhile, she’d go through the list of players with silver magic available to them and decide for herself if they were worthy of having it or not. She suspected most wouldn't be.
The Director began with Admin 1’s group. Two of his players had silver magic available. She pulled up the note Admin 1 had attached to the color allowance for the first one.
Given after he won a habanero-eating contest without dying.
She sat back.
This was going to be harder than she thought.
