Kimi snickered, reading Nikki’s message again as she forwarded it to Y.
“Ok, what’s up?” Gloom asked, turning towards her. “You’ve been giggling all morning.”
Kimi grinned. “My sister drugged the Admins.”
Fire looked at her. “With the chocolate?”
The group stopped, smiles forming on everyone’s faces.
Gloom crossed his arms, already laughing. “Got any details?”

Y grinned, reading the message from Kimi.
“Oh no,” Steel sighed. “What happened?”
Y minimized the message. “Nothing to worry about. It seems Nik got all the Admins high.”
Ahead of them, Bismuth and Fishy stopped and turned around.
“Who did what now?” Bismuth asked, grinning.

“Hey, Mika?” Bacon called, pausing as they walked from one level to the next.

“Yeah?” she asked, taking a drink of water.
“Someone in my group says… someone, I presume Nikki, gave the Admins a cake full of cocaine and got them super high,” she said.
Mika inhaled the water, snorted some out her nose, and stumbled to the wall, coughing as she laughed.

Samuel got a message from Mika. He paused mid-fight to read it, and immediately knew that was a good decision.
Not wanting to take too long, he forwarded the message to Samurai, Aya, and Athena.

Dear Diary,
Avi says they’re going to push the button tomorrow morning, so this cycle will be over soon.
Then I’ll get to see him! We’ll be fairies, and I’ll find out what he really looks like with purple hair! I can’t wait.
The Admins haven’t written to me again, and the Director hasn’t done anything, so I hope the whole “drugging them with cake” incident has been forgotten. Or at least put behind us.
Oh, I had to tell Kimi, and she thought it was absolutely hilarious. Which, yes, it was. But it was also a liiiittle scary for a while.
I want to message Admin 5 and ask her if she’s mad at me. I hope not. I kinda thought we were kinda becoming friends? I’d feel bad if this made her think I was a mean person.
Well, I will message her. Just not yet. I’ll do it next cycle, after a few days have passed and everyone realizes the humor in the situation.
In non-cake news, I’m getting bored only being a healer this cycle. I’m used to being more of an active participant. Either by teleporting or handing out pizza. And sometimes I hit angry plants with my defense bonk stick. I do things. I help.
But this cycle mostly all I’ve done is… heal. Then wait for someone to get hurt. Then heal again. Try not to get hurt myself. Aaand heal again.
It’s not the absolute worst thing ever, and I don’t hate it or anything. It just feels like… like I’m not being used to my full potential.
Thankfully this cycle is almost over, and next cycle will be completely different.
