Dear diary,

The volcano has been pumping out smoke and hot ash into the sky nonstop. You can't even see the village underneath all the dust.

Everyone was successfully relocated and rehoused by the church. And I've relocated my portal testing facility deeper underground. Luckily the demons are immune to heat and are able to work like normal. I've also cast obfuscation wards to hide them from the tower personnel in charge of purifying the pollution from the atmosphere.
