Goodman was right. The Oasis was the key to leaving the desert. But now we're inside a walled city hidden beneath the sand.

They have magic here and people are just using it casually like it's a normal ability to have. They also raise the sand bugs, they say it helps amplify their magic. Those wormlike things are flying freely out there. I don't want to leave the RV but we've been invited to a feast.

Apparently there's a festival going on this week to celebrate the birth of their god. I'm gonna stuff my ears with cotton and hope none of those bugs get into me.
