Dear diary,
There's that eye in the sky again. It's raining cause it cries. The thunder and lightning are it's sobs and tears glinting in the light.
The house is fully under water now. We've rescued all we could.
Goodman says we have to move. It's not safe here anymore. Luckily Bitsy's nice enough to let us stay in her boat. Said it's the least she could do for me. I don't know why she's so kind. But I made sure to let her know she's appreciated.
Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit.
When we stopped by the school to rescue Ms. Birch, she gave us two chickens. Now we've got a renewable source of protein and two more mouths to feed. We dropped Ms. Birch off at Poppy's hill and I said goodbye to everyone. This is probably the last time I'll see them cause the Butcher's teleporting them to somewhere safe.
The rain doesn't look like it'll stop anytime soon.
Love,
Tina
