Prologue Volume 1

“Oh gallant heroes, welcome to the Astlan Kingdom.”

An old raspy voice reverberates…

It sounded so grand and important that it immediately beckons our attention. Without any delay in my mind, confusion collides with my perception as I look around the place with gaped breath as I scan that unfamiliar place that surely won’t exists anywhere I look.

Is this a dream or I really did come to a different world?

“First, please let me convey our sincerest apology for summoning you abruptly to our world.”

There it is again, the rousing voice of an old man that echoes throughout the room that seemingly apologetic, yet, proud and joyous regardless of the situation presented to us.

The only pressing matter that I can come up in this situation is my inadequate visibility of where the voice is coming from for the reason my sight ends up leading to backs of several people standing before me.

Stolen story; please report.

I don’t like to admit it but they are tall. I may not be proud of my own height but I at least now that I am moderately tall. Seeing that even as I tip-toe, none came to my sight.

Hmm?

I just felt a breeze beneath me.

No.

I felt it between my legs. For some odd reasons, I feel extremely light in my crotch and something is missing. I don’t want to call dibs on what is that important thing that’s missing but I can already vouch what it is.

It’s just a little scary to admit it to myself.

As I ponder about my current state, especially down there, something ticklish touches my face. As I brush the hanging bangs in front of my face, I noticed that the naturally black hair that should be resting there is now pure white. A beautiful glee of snow white that shines even with the slightest collision with light.

“Please follow me, O Gallant Heroes. I shall brief you on the situation.”

I couldn't quite count all of the people in front of me but I’d say they are about a dozen. All of them exudes hostility and vigilance as they also observe the situation in their own way while examining the very state of the place itself in awe.

The place seems to be intricately built as the pillars around us made of marble are carved with precision. The white stunning walls that stretch over three meters is plain but mysteriously charming as it is fashioned with several small cracks and hanging decorations.

The overall ambiance gives a really comfortable but foreign feeling that I compel me to believe that this isn’t somewhere I am familiar with.

That’s obvious.

It makes me anxious.

Hm?

……

Wait!

How did this situation come to be in the first place anyway?
