“And that concludes the congregation. I, Priscilla, will take hold of every plan!”
“…How fearsome.”
Thus, the conclusion ended with Priscilla looking down on Gria Hellbeing, the Demon Lord. The other leaders could not say anything in protest and I can only gaze at her full of amazement and admiration. This talk is supposed to be how I will carry out my plan for the Center Continent but I got an unexpected helping hand.
A little bit earlier after Higan left, Priscilla was waiting in my room while Violetta is nervously sitting at one corner of the room knowing that the woman in maid uniform is her greatest bane.
She suddenly proposed a plan that will greatly put me an advantage but I have to make her the manager since she deemed me with insufficient ability to make my dreams reality. In fact, she is correct even though I plan on breaking myself reading tons of books after this for my plan.
To put it bluntly, I’m plain stupid about my own plans and she just gave me a relief.
“I want to propose the following to you, Asagao. As someone as young as you, unbefitting and naïve of all the process and procedures. One may say that if you do one major mistake, you can overturn a huge part of the economy.”
“Is it really that something dangerous?!”
“It is, Asagao. Overbuying materials, importing unnecessary products, prolonging the time of labors, and a lot more to be considered. There are a lot of factors to be taken into consideration too in regards to seasonal changes. I heard that the topography of Center Continent is mixed with four seasons.”
“Eh…? Wait…”
“Also, recruiting suitable workers for suitable jobs. Financing for their salaries, auditing, human resources administering, accounting, allocating taxes, their health insurances, etc.”
“I’m counting on you, Priscilla!”
Apparently, that’s only the tip of the iceberg. I don’t want to hear any more of it. I’ve taken monopoly of something vast and yet, I didn’t even consider all of those.
There’s a league difference between a management of a Kingdom from creating one from a scratch. Needless to say, I don’t have any suitable pieces of knowledge from those. Back when I was still Nil, I’ve taken Psychology Course in college. That is proven useless here…
I’m a disgrace and at the same time, a massive disappointment.
“Um…so…what do you want to do? You are still the Dragon Kingdom’s representative. Won’t there be any problem on their side?”
“Do not worry. My plans are going well and if it happens earlier than I expected, I can pass the leadership, or possibly the title of the emperor.”
“To…who?”
“Ah, that? I’m forcing Mito and Rose to get married. No one will complain if the new Emperor is a hero, right? On top of that, the long history of the Dragons harboring animosity towards the Fairies will be expelled.”
“…Wait…”
“I did everything within the limits of my power for those two to be honest with their self. Creating cliché scenes, always sending them together on a mission, and finally, opening up to each other.”
“Are you some kind of a matchmaker?!”
“No, I’m just one hell of a maid.”
“I heard that line somewhere…”
“Anyway, I have someone whom I can pass the authority, albeit I’m still holding a loose leash. The next procedure is making a clear statement that you and I are allies. I don’t have the need to monopolize it but surely you don’t know yourself how to spend the sudden fortune that you got?”
This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it
Hearing about the sudden fortune, Violetta’s body jolted in surprise and her face pales.
“Oh my, Lady Violetta. You shouldn’t be forcing yourself. How about taking a nap for the rest of the congregation?”
“I…I appreciate the concern but…”
Violetta seems like she doesn’t want to heed Priscilla’s suggestion. In fact, she has some protests against it but when she noticed that Priscilla is walking towards her, she just froze on the spot while averting her stare.
At the moment, Priscilla’s hand touches Violetta’s lower abdomen, possibly where her womb is. Contrary to what Violetta expected, Priscilla has gentle eyes.
“Life, you are carrying it inside you. Like Susanoo, I believe that young lives are important. I’ll look forward holding your child in my embrace.”
“Miss Priscilla…”
“Then again, I think I need to visit your library from time to time since you have a bad habit of leaving it…extremely untidy. It will affect your health majorly.”
“Ugh...Fine! I’ll spend the day resting!”
Violetta, giving up on being persistent, stood up and left the room, probably heading to her own bedroom. I myself is a little relieved that Priscilla was able to persuade Violetta.
“Getting back on track, Asagao.”
“Yes, please tell me your plans!”
“I will help you fulfill your dreams, a land where all races can coexist. Then again, I have another plan in mind.”
“What is it?”
“An Academy.”
“…Pardon?”
“An Academy, an advancement in education, amassing knowledge from our previous world and teaching it to this world. Advancing their civilization further open the path of a new age. For that, your cooperation is vital, mainly funding this plan. All you have to do is to trust me with it.”
“……”
Priscilla’s eyes are confident and sharp.
Come to think of it, among all the summoned heroes, Priscilla can be considered the smartest or even a genius but she never showed interest in training and battles. Also, her past is a mystery to everyone and what she is capable of is hazy to us.
Just who is Priscilla?
Her identity is ambiguous but her plans are grand and distinguished. I can feel neither animosity nor ill intention from her words. The advancement that she wants for this world doesn’t sound so bad either.
Well, even if I brood over it, in the end, do I have a choice?
“Yes, I will trust you, Priscilla. Please make my dreams come true.”
“As you wish, Princess Asagao.”
She said as she fell on her one knee and bows to me.
Calling me princess once more ignited my face in embarrassment but I couldn’t refute it because despite whatever I say, that’s what I am.
At that moment, I thought it’s fine. After doing a mission for the betterment of this world, a dream, a goal is probably the next thing I should aim for.
And so, comes to this current situation where all leaders are looking at Priscilla. I expect nothing less from Priscilla at this point. She was able to lay out a complicated plan that even I couldn’t follow. Her charisma while talking and persuading is peerless.
That is her, that is Priscilla, the walking Perfectionist.
It didn’t even take two hours to finish the whole meeting. She was able to overturn any verbal opposition through fine argument.
Gria Hellbeing shows a burnt out countenance while his wife, Eno Hellbeing comforts him. Diyu left the congregation midway because of an urgent business.
Hinoki Prasiolite, the Elven Queen, showed a little opposition from the start. All she did was to clarify things and asked suitable questions such as the quantity and quality that are needed. She didn’t bring Casablanca and Hibiscus along but weird enough, Emby is resting atop her head.
Senya herself is a little hesitant so she became a small part of the opposition but as her questions are granted favorable answers such as rebuilding the relationship between the Fairy Kin and the Dragon Kin, she started supporting the plan.
Osthorio Talon is, of course, the major opposition, but every time he asked a question or play his objection, Priscilla will answer with a sharp and cold stare mixed with one would call impudent tone. In the end, his opposition didn’t do much at all.
The representative Folga only nods in agreement…
Finally, Ashfon Astlan Lionheart, the King of Human Kingdom, seat at the table, or so I want to say but…in his seat, I am the one in it. A great deal of attention, of course, shifted to me…
He is…standing behind me with a weird smile on his face.
“I see, from this day on forward, Asagao Lionheart will be getting her own position within this summit. Be sure to do note that you, Asagao, will be having detached responsibilities from being a Princess of your Kingdom from your leadership in this continent.”
“Yeah…I get that but…”
“I understand your worry and I accept Miss Priscilla to be your one and the only councilor, however, I am going to obligate you to present yourself in all of the upcoming summits.”
“Yes…”
I will! It’s not like I have any other choices! On top of being obligated to do my tasks as Fonfon’s little sister and a princess, I also have the duty as a leader of the Center Continent!
Though Priscilla will do most of the works. She did present herself and I am aware of her capabilities. Doesn’t she get ill or sick?
Suddenly…
BAM!
The door burst open behind Gria and from there, Diyu Hellbeing marches towards here, specifically, where I am sitting.
Everyone’s stares are ignored as her steps resounds the whole room.
“Diyu?!”
“Asagao…Higanba? Where’s Higanbana?”
“She…went home earlier through Violetta’s warp.”
“!?”
“What’s wrong?”
“From the direction of the Beast Kingdom, a huge golden flame rises from its ground! Asagao, you know what that means…”
Higan is the only one I know who wield golden flames…
Most likely…something is happening…
I can feel the blood draining from my countenance.
“Asagao, please call Violetta!”
“Senya?”
“I’ve sent Mimosa with her. Actually, I’ve foreseen something however, I didn’t speak a word of it…sorry.”
“Mimosa? You sent her there to protect Higan?”
“That’s my plan…but…”
“Let’s go!”
Without even minding anyone, I immediately jump from the seat and dashed towards where Violetta is. Before I knew it, Fonfon is behind me.
I can hear a clamor starting behind me but they are not my priority.
Needless to say, Higan is more important right now!
