Because of my incredible social skills and sweet lip service, none outcasts me from the group, more like they are more reliant on me when it comes to emotional woes. It’s kind of a hassle but that’s as far as I can interact with them except Vische.
Among everyone who has been summoned, Vische is the most special as she received a powerful blessing, a cheat ability, and an absurd magical power. On top of that, Vische is cunning and foolproof.
Along the way, from Astlan Castle towards the Dragon Capital where Ashfon ordered us to train, she showed exceptional talent not just from daily training but also in defeating devils.
“Ah…Nil, behind you...”
“Oh?”
I raise the simple sword up in the air and with a little strength, brought it down towards a two meters devil that hacks its chest bleeding. However, the devil wasn’t just struggling from the wound that I inflicted, it’s writhing in…pain.
I look at Vische and she just shrugs with an uncaring countenance. Our companions are looking at the devil with perplexed faces but nonetheless, it is defeated.
“Say Nil, how do you do that?”
“Do what? I don’t know what you mean.”
“You trained the least among everyone. Well, no matter, what just bothers me is that you can nonchalantly swing a sword to either magical beasts or devils.”
“I think it is not much even towards a person.”
“…I think I know what you meant. I’d rather not pursue the topic myself. Anyway, you are strong even though you were lazing around all day or juke out some of Violly’s lectures.”
“I don’t know what you are talking about. I think I am strong right from the start and you guys just realized it.”
“Really?”
“That was sarcasm.”
“You know what…you ought to tone down that jerkiness of yours. “
Vische said to me with an unfailing impish smile plastered on her face. She continued walking with rough strides unbefitting of a girl. I do think what I can do is nothing special compared to Vische but yeah, I mostly can handle myself.
As I started walking too because we there are only a few kilometers before we reach the Dragon Capital Mujinn as per our quest to become stronger!
A story of friendship, courage, and heroism!
Nah…
I’m not into that shit. I don’t even know why I am going along with this quest or why am I here with this body. This body should be his alone and I am just an extra. I don’t like how I am getting used to this body…
As I was busy with my intellectual and knowledgeable thoughts that a million of people could benefit, a man suddenly reaches out for my shoulder and pulled my attention away from my own thoughts.
As I turn around, a man with brown hair and passionate brown eyes enters my sight. He is as tall as me and seems to be on a bulkier side.
“Nil, Nil, you’re close with Vische right? Can you tell me what she likes or anything?”
“…….”
“Hmm? What? Do you like her too?”
“Who the hell are you?”
“I know that you are notorious for being a real jerk but because of your honeyed words, no one really bats an eye to you being a massive jerk…”
“Hey Hans, how many times did I told you to not casually call me. If it is something about Vische, I don’t think we like each other. We just happened to like the same things.”
“I’m kind of jealous that Vische talks to you like that. Whenever she talks with us, it’s always those serious things that relate to battle.”
“If I am Vische, being friendly with someone like you will be my last concern.”
Hans, one of the summoned heroes who turned into an elf, hangs his shoulders because of the awful truth.
If you are thinking that for the past three months, I wasn’t able to get to know everyone, that’s where you are wrong. For someone with an androgynous face, it is not an exaggeration that I am popular with girls.
As I walk while Hans tries to match my pace, a girl with curvy horns and blond hair pops her head under my arms and wrap her arms around my waist as if I am a stuffed toy.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
“Nil, is Hans bothering you again? You can always punch him in the face if you want!”
“No can do Elen, we need a proper fodder if monsters surrounded us!”
“Ahahaha! That’s what I like about you Nil.”
“You’re a fodder too.”
“N-No way!”
“I’m kidding.”
“I knew that! We are going to have a lot of babies after all of this right?”
“Try seducing me again when you fixed that flat tit of yours.”
“As I said, I’m B cup!”
I’m serious as hell. Fix that tits of yours and I might get serious with you. Don’t dream to reach Violetta’s size but at least, let me hold onto something if I ever grope that.
Suddenly, a shorter guy with messy black hair with fairy wings stands in front of me.
“Ignorant as ever, Nil.”
“Move along shorty.”
“Big breasts fill the hand, flat chest fills the heart. Such is a way the god created human!”
“Move along Roy. This is not something I want to argue about as everyone knows that big breasts are superior.”
Roy’s face twitches as I, again, ignored his gallant protest.
“Like what I am saying, I am B cup! I am not flat!”
“Oh? Care to prove it?”
Elen roared in anger as she emphasizes that her breasts are not completely flat. Of course, I know that but I love seeing Elen losing her spirit.
If she asked me to grope it as a proof, only hell can hold me back from doing it. Tits are tits whatever shape they take, whatever volume they hold, and whatever cup they are.
As I tried to move along, I notice that people started clumping around me again…
In contrast to the short Roy, a woman who stands at two meters walks with us. The tall girl who dresses too much to hide her skin is Heidi.
“Stop picking on Elen…”
“It’s like what Heidi said, stop picking on me!”
“She is still growing.”
“That’s not how you defend someone!”
“I’m sorry…it’s just that…it is noticeable that you are the smallest next to Vische.”
It’s getting too noisy…
The reason I stick with Vische is because she is quiet when idle and if we ever talk with each other, it is all about sarcasm, dark and dirty jokes, and how can we turn the whole world upside down. Also, the probability of surviving in this world is much higher with her around.
Well, all that said, I think he won’t take this kind of situation to heart. Nonetheless, he is equally perverted as me, though he is more secretive of it than me who flaunts it like a perfume.
And so, we traveled like this up to the border of the dragon continent until the personnel and military units of the Dragon Emperor came picking us up.
.
.
.
“It’s a pleasure meeting you summoned heroes, I am Emperor Ouro, the current ruler of the Kingdom built for dragons.”
A man who looks like in his mid-thirties with red hair and four horns are protruding from his head introduces himself as the Dragon Emperor that rules the dragon continent, the Valley of Ancients. This is the capital of the dragon city, Mujinn.
He met us at the gates of the capital with a smile and tons of escort.
“We are honored by your presence, Emperor of the Dragons, Emperor Ouro. This isn’t the most appropriate place to be introducing ourselves but you can simply address me as Nil.”
“Well met, are you perhaps the standing leader for your party?”
“I do not want to be addressed as one, however, one needs to speak.”
“Very well, let’s head to the castle and have you and your party rested. I shall send a messenger for King Ashfon Astlan Lionheart, a notification that I have received you noble heroes as my guest.”
As King Ouro turn around to lead us where his castle is, I made a glance towards Vische and I saw her smiling.
I know right, such bullshit!
I wanted to laugh too but the time is unripe. I want to see how things onwards will go.
Everyone except me and Vische is unaware of this but as soon as we saw the emperor, chills swarm my body.
Feigning that we are a naïve pair, we proceed to follow the Emperor who led us to his castle. Along the way, citizens wave to us from left and right. There aren’t any visible vendors on the main street.
The sandy and hot weather are bearable and they don’t seem to be scarce of water but some people are steering away from the emperor or looking away from him.
For the next whole month, we will be staying in this city huh…
.
.
.
As what we are instructed by Ashfon, we need to learn what kind of magic that dragon race can teach us.
It was cool to see human figures with scales, wings, tails, and horns transforming into a dragon of various forms. Their training about martial arts is a little different from the humans but nonetheless, I didn’t even bother learning them.
Their magic is easy stuff but since it is pointless for me to learn it, I skipped most of the lectures. I do what I usually did back at Astlan Castle.
On the other hand, Vische decided to take it easy and started skipping on lectures too. She’d usually find me and hang out with me or do some sightseeing in the city trying various shops, foods, and stalls.
If arrogant soldiers tried to intimidate us, Vische will immediately show her mettle and take them down without even breaking a sweat.
As a week passes, Vische’s skin started getting a little tanned. Slightly but the difference can be seen when she lifts the sleeve of her shirt.
And so, after one and a half week, at night, our little friend ran out of patience.
As the moons glitter at the sky with countless stars illuminating this world, Vische and I are playing a handmade card deck with the game old maid.
All of a sudden, Roy came running towards us in my room where Vische and I are playing.
“What’s wrong Roy? You look so pale.”
“Yeah, chill out a little.”
Roy drags his breathing and huffs for oxygen with his hands on his knees.
He then looks at us with anxious eyes and grits his teeth as if he was swallowing his words. It seems that he was trying to find the words to say but couldn’t.
Knowing that there’s nothing he should hide, he speaks.
“Nil, Vische…! Elen is…Elen is missing! We’ve been trying to find her for three hours now! The guards even said that she didn’t leave the castle! Let’s find her!”
Vische and I simultaneously threw the card on the table and stood up. I made a glance towards Vische and she did the same as if we are both reading each other’s minds.
It was earlier than we thought but he finally showed his true color.
“It’s alright Roy, I know she is safe. Have you guys tried looking at the storage rooms?”
“I don’t know anymore…we’ll look again. How about you and Vische?”
“We’ll start looking for her too.”
“Yes…thank you…”
Roy immediately left us in hurry. He must be probably heading where the others are. Of course, the place that I told him was wrong.
“What are you going to do after this?”
“We really can’t do anything about it initially. Right now is the time for us to do it.”
“Vische…do you find this…fun?”
“Not exactly…”
“I hope so.”
And so, Vische and I proceeded to go to a certain place where those idiots absolutely won’t take a look at…
The barracks…
Vische and I made our way to the barracks where the soldiers reside.
As soon as we arrive at the front door of the barrack that as large as a mansion imagining that it houses dozens of soldiers, Vische and I opened the door nonchalantly and marches inside without minding the surprised soldiers.
“Hey, you two are not allowed here!”
Hearing one of the panicking voices of the soldiers, Vische and I confirmed it. With cold blood rising throughout her body, Vische drew her sword and in an instant…
Crimson rain started hailing from the man’s beheaded neck.
“Scum.”
Vische only muttered as she proceeds to begin the bloodbath.
For some odd reason, even if they are lives, I don’t feel any sympathy at all. No compassion, no anger or hatred, just an empty emotion that took no feelings for the dead in front of us.
Vische and I walk deeper inside the barrack.
As soon as we reached a room hidden behind a curtain, pained moans, pleading, screams of tears of a girl reaches our ears.
“What do you want?”
“You seem carefree about everything.”
“Well,…we are not normal to begin with. It’s weird how I just said that of all times.”
“I had a fair share of murder too, to be honest.
“That’s not something you should be boasting.”
Vische and I bust the door open.
