A POV of Violetta from the incidents that happened and what they are doing up until the latest chapter 

A long time ago, Devils roam the land slaughtering and killing everything in sight. The Spiritual Goddess descended the land and materialized a body vessel. She searches the land for people who are strong, kind and pure to receive her blessing. People who are unworthy of the blessing either wither in pain or pass out. For the people who are worthy reached another dimension of power and ability to vanquish the devils completely. The Goddess herself is unable to fight, thus, she finds worthy warriors and completely sealing the devils back in the center continent. She then ascended again to the land of deities as a spirit.

It is one of the stories Asagao love to hear.  Other than this kind of stories, we will also talk about magic research and theories. She is a bright child for absorbing everything I teach her.

Asagao is an adorable girl. Even upon laying an eye on her in the day of summoning, I had the feeling that she will have a big role in our life. Even just one night, Fonfon already cherishes this child. I see, maybe this child can completely put a lid on Fonfon’s fearful power together with his distrusting attitude.

Fonfon has the skill to determine if a person is lying or not. Only handful of people knows about it. Fonfon’s distrusted people more when he claimed the throne.

Some will send people who pretend to be his relative. Some will send people who pretend to be loyal to him.

The worst is they will use a child to lie to him thinking if they can let his guard down. This has already happened countless of time. Fonfon got tired of it so he shut his heart to people who he is not familiar with while doing the role of the king diligently. 

He is a wise king, but not a wise man.

But this girl, Asagao, with her adorable charm, carried not a speck of lies.

That’s what Fonfon determines. With this, I planned to take have Asagao be part of the royal family.

It is a plan I instigated with Ishtal. I even secretly talked with the heroes about it. It seems there is a bit of resistance but they said as long as she is safe.

I still remember that rabbit song, though… I began imitating it and doing in front of the mirror while mimicking the rabbit ears with my hand…

“One little rabbit hopped!~

My face froze… Was she there? Don’t smile like that…

“Violetta… I will leave these documents here… sorry for disturbing you…it was cute though”

She left… I pulled the hem of my shawl in my head to my face.

Today I discovered that Asagao can only use 4 magic. But it feels different. I didn’t tell her anything about it but it seems her magic will drastically change depending on her disposition.  

The high-quality magic that matches mine, at the same time, it will change depends on her will. Asagao's heal is a representation of her hate of injuries. 

Cure can also consider as a mental relief so it is her hate for stress and mental pain. Her barrier is her desire for protection. The magic may change in nature if she gains new virtue or in pain. 

In the theory that I draw up, for example, for her heal. Right now, it is normal as recovering from injury, but if she gains positive disposition, her heal will strengthen and may mend even severed limbs.

If it becomes negative, the opposite of healing… decaying. If she ever learns of full body scale heal with having negative disposition…let us not think about it.

I said only four magic, but there is one more and I told her that if possible, forget about using it. It is an enhancement magic but to other people. I told her to cast it on me. I cannot believe what happened next. 

I was attacked by sharp pain all over my body, I feel like my stomach, my head and my limbs will burst any moment. Asagao notices it and immediately dispels that magic. It seems it has a negative effect on her mind so I told her to forget it..

It has been a week since the heroes left the Capital. Fonfon told me that we will do an incognito investigation at one of the city. There was also sighting of dozen magical beasts in vicinities of the royal capital.

We planned to send Lily and Edelweiss to subjugate it. I send their units off by warp gates. Even though my warp gate is very useful, it takes 20 minutes again for me to use it again.

After we send them off, Fonfon and I moved at night. We warp at the City of Myrin for the incognito investigation.

We regularly do this to every city once in months. Not to mention,  Fonfon has business with the noble governing this place.

We even had not taken a single step when…

“Fon! There are enemies attacking the capital!”

“Right now!? Damn!”

I felt it.

The barrier that I set is been under attack.

Of course, it won’t break with a measly attack like that so I calmed down a little.

“Violetta, let’s postpone this investigation and return back to the royal capital when you can use the warp gate again! This whole incident, it seems really planned, if possible, this might be devils doing, or worst someone who is not even a devil but something else.”

After 20 minutes, I cast the warp gate and we returned to the castle.

In the window, we can see smokes rising to the sky. But the people down there and even the citizens were fending off for themselves. How reliable.

“Yeah, I’ll just scan the whole castle with magic.”

I cast a wide range of magic to the whole castle for any anomalies. And then…with a pale face, I spoke to Fonfon.

“Un, got it! Have the soldiers and magicians investigate the place…”

He left like a mad hurricane. In the place where he was standing, there was a huge crater. The windows shattered because of the force. I promptly followed Fonfon hoping for the safety of that angel.

What I saw upon entering the room, pool of blood, innards of the soldier are pasted everywhere, and Milin is crying in one corner holding her amputated arm, muttering “Princess!!”

Fon and I approach Milin. Fon asks the question. 

“M-Milin.. w-where is A-Asagao h-hiding?! She is just hiding right?!”

He uttered. He is clenching his fist to the point that his nail is digging to his palm. And then…

PSSSSHHHH… BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

“DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNN! DAMN EVERYTHING! EVERY SINGLE THING! OF ALL PEOPLE! WHY HER!!!!???”

He is covered by that, an overflowing malicious aura. His power, the manifestation of his rage, anger and wrath. With suddenly bursting out, he punched the wall making and explosive sound.

Even the barrier I am so proud of that I reinforced multiple times was shattered like nothing.

This is, the Rage King. Fon has only two weapons. But they are twisted and outrageous beyond reason. One manifests every negative emotion into this pugnacious aura. The other one is a cursed weapon the give him a huge boost in every aspect of strength and erode his mind in going, in the worst, a blind rage.

I, the once proud Continental Destroyer and the race leaders, are cautious, no, fearful of this kind of Fon.

Asagao's disappearance has such impact.

“Fon! Calm do--!”

“Violetta, hurry up treating Milin, we are going to the Center Continent.”

“Even if we do Fon! We don’t have any means of defeating the Devils, and the people of your kingdom needs you now. A disaster has just occurred!”

I opened the cabinet. It is really the charm.. together with it is a cape and a letter. I took the cape and letter and handed it over to Fon.

He was sobbing and crying while holding the letter and the cape in his chest like it’s a treasure while kneeling down.

I too was crying and sobbing. I also loved that girl, for her to disappear like this!

“Violetta-! Round up every soldier and regroup. Also, fetch Lily and Edelweiss back. When they come back tell them to rest for 6 hours and then go on a sortie around the whole vicinity of the royal capital with their units!  Call every garrison and captains and tell them to assists the citizens. After that, Violetta-san for the next 12 hours, I want you to dispatch units of soldiers in 8 Cities and 15 Towns all over the Continent and if you know more frontier towns, also send troops there with a magical device for tracking. Tell them to use it when they found a clue or indications of Asagao being there. If we still haven’t received any report in two days, we will rethink of a new strategy. I will go to Ishtal and round up every district nobles to have the renovation talk!”

“So..”

“Goddess, please hear my prayer and save Asagao!”

“Fon…”

I, too prayed even though I have forsaken the goddess once.

We entered the guild and headed to the receptionist in the description. It was a red-haired girl with a ponytail.

“Girl! I am Ashfon Astlan Lionheart! I heard that you know my little sister!”

He didn’t even hesitate. But this gave us a relief knowing that Asagao is far from the Devils now.

She told us everything. It seems Asagao is headed to City Harbor Krilm on a ship that left early morning and will arrive in two weeks.

She seemed to be saved by this Alstroemeria from the devil.

I imagined that this gallant warrior is a brilliant fighter.

Fon knew already that it is not a lie because of his skill.

Because Asagao is on a moving ship, I cannot pinpoint its location so the plan now is that we will stay in Krilm City.

We rewarded the receptionist with a mithril coin. This much is still not enough though but she is making a complicated face.

And then we heard some adventurers...

“Iyaa!~ that white haired girl is so cute I want to eat her up!”

“Not so loud idiot! We were let off easily you know!”

“Yeah, if only the Goddess of Destruction wasn’t there!”

Vulgar words. There is only one cute white haired girl we know.

“Violetta, do it.”

Fon gave the signal. Since the receptionist heard everything, she is pale as a ghost. I restrained the three vulgar man and use this magical device that brings out the memories that we want to see from him.

The one who declared that is the guild master. They paled upon the announcement. And then…

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! 

A huge tremor occurred.

One of the men in there was no more. There was an oversized hammer in his place and a crater dug up 2 meters in radius. The man turned into a meat paste.

“Sorry, I really can’t stomach everything anymore. Even these thugs, even the devils, I can’t handle my anger anymore I had to take it out on someone.”

The tremor that shaken the whole land is made by Edelweiss. Bloodlust seethes from her.

The other henchman turned into a beehive. His face is beyond recognizable. There are countless holes punctured in him that he is already dead while spurting blood left and right.

“Likewise here. You shitholes are not worthy of even touching Asagao!”

Then, I know it was already his turn.

His pent up anger, wrath and rage. It seems it will explode now. I cannot do anything now but to let him burst.

Fon…please make it quick…

He was sent to an unknown dimension.

I myself don’t know what dimension is that but it is a fact it is used to punish people. No one even knows what happened.

Only Fon knows.

“Violetta, open up the warp portal to Krilm”

It seems that Asagao is safe now. We have to give rewards to the benefactor too.

We entered the warp portal and was already in Krilm City.

We will stay here for two weeks to wait for Asagao. It seems everyone is relief and a bit happy but at the same time, restless too.
