Chapter 323: The Encounter with the Mad Maidens 2

No, wait! I shouldn’t let this blind me from what I should be really asking right now.

I recompose myself and brought down the files in front of Violetta. She stares at me with a default countenance but her eyes are asking what are these files is for.

“Violetta, I found out that you are doing alterations on the files that are sent to me. However, right now, this is an authentic report without your interference and it shows how big the discrepancy is from the previous reports is.”

“I wonder what you are talking about.”

“Do you really think I’m that stupid?”

“Yes.”

Don’t answer it with a straight face!

I kind of feel bad for myself right now if you answer it without much reaction. I am aware of that from my past actions. It shows how much silly I am but I don’t consider myself that stupid! People evolve day by day and I am a people with progressing knowledge!

“I guess you’re beating yourself in your mind again, huh?”

“Shut up, Nil!”

Nil even started making fun of me.

I need to get my mind back into focus.

“Hey, Violetta, what’s happening over there? Between the elf and the dwarf…”

“And what good will that bring if you know what’s happening?”

“Whatever it is I am going to--!”

“Don’t forget your position, Asagao. Don’t get too cocky because you think you can do a lot of things. You are a proper part of this kingdom’s royalty. None shall question your lineage if we tell them that you and Ashfon came from the race of divines.”

“That’s true but…!”

“I don’t want to brood over this topic, Asagao. You are to stay here without resistance and focus on your own.”

“The war between them broke out again, right?”

“…It’s none of your business regardless. If you butt your head into this, you will be dragging our whole kingdom into this. We may win but there would be a lot of distrusts from the other kingdoms.”

I know that…

I am aware of that…

But Violetta forgot one thing…

“I am not going there as a royalty of this kingdom…”

“You’re a fool.”

“I will go there as a representative and as a peacekeeper of the Center Continent. I am aware that Priscilla will give me her approval.”

“Are you saying you will dive into the face of danger again alone?”

“Or better yet, I shall tell Priscilla to visit here.”

“Hey! Are you threatening me?! Asagao, are you seriously saying you are threatening me?!!”

“Also, I am not alone. I will bring Topaz and Mimi, you know.”

“Me too?!”

Mimi interjected with a strong reaction as soon as she heard her name.

It seems that Violetta is under the impression that I will go alone again but that’s wrong. I have some companions I am going to bring along!

“Then, are you telling me that you are going to leave this thing here?”

“Hey, even how much you hate me, calling me a thing is too much.”

“A thing shouldn’t talk back. Be thankful that Asagao is putting a leash on you or else, Ashfon and I would have disposed of you.”

“Talk big.”

Now, this is dangerous.

“Anyway, Asagao, are you really insisting on doing this?”

“Of course!”

“Then whose side—“

“On Casablanca and Hibiscus’ side.”

“Right…”

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Violetta heaves a heavy sigh as I readily answered her question. She couldn’t do anything but to rub her temple in such a distressed state.

To be honest, I couldn’t care less about the dwarves but since I am going as someone representing the Center Continent, I should try my best to resolve this with the elves in a peaceful manner. Even though I said peacekeeper, I am extremely biased towards the elves, specifically, to Casablanca and Hibiscus.

“Look, Asagao, if you are going that far and be stubborn, do you really think I can stop you? Though, I can if I use force but of course, that would make my image bad.”

“So you are saying that you would actually do it if you don’t care about your image?!”

“Possibly.”

“Uwaah…so, you and Fonfon hid this from me because you don’t want me to go? You two knew that I would go no matter what?”

“It is because you’re like an open book to us. I already know your thinking pattern, no, pretty much everyone around you know.”

My face flared a little bit…

She really doesn’t have to rub that to my face.

“That’s all of it, Violetta. I am going to pick up Topaz now and after that, we will immediately go.”

“Aren’t you going to tell Fonfon? What about supplies?”

I got all sorts of supplies in my dimensional storage from daily necessities to hero class weapons given to me by master and they are all fresh and in tip-top shape if I take them out. Time doesn’t move in my dimensional storage after all.

I kind of know how unfair this skill is but I am glad that I have it.

As for Fonfon, it’s better to say some words before leaving. Although he will surely be against it, I will do my best to persuade him.

For the cuddle duty…it’ll be best if we can get Hydrangea to fill the schedule. She willingly volunteered for it after all.

I won’t be surprised if we found out that Fonfon will be a father when we come back. However, in hindsight, I don’t know if I’ll be happy if Hydrangea becomes my in-law.

“I have no problem with the supplies. I’ll just talk to Fonfon real quick.”

“Is that so? I’ll bring Topaz in his office so at least we can see your departure.”

“Thank you for the warp, Violetta.”

“I can’t move around too much after all. I’m starting to get morning cramps and I get nauseous from time to time.’

I am on the move again and this time, Nil and Mimi are following me from behind. I feel like a company executive when there are two people walking behind me. Although it’s not wrong to think that I am someone in a high position now.

It didn’t take that long before we arrived at Fonfon’s office and what revealed behind this door is…

“What’s wrong, Fon?”

“Umm…Hy…”

“You stopped working for a while now.”

“Well…this is…too much for me…”

“As a king of your kingdom, you shouldn’t easily show your carnal desire.”

“I don’t know if this is carnal desire though…”

Fonfon is pale beyond imagination as Miss Hydrangea sat comfortably on his lap. Excitement and stiffness due to utter fear are two different things.

Why is Fonfon so scared of Miss Hydrangea anyway?

Fonfon and Miss Hydrangea notice us and turn their attention to us. His face suddenly lits up in happiness but he can’t stand up.

“Asagao, what brings you here today?”

“I’ve come to let you know that I am heading to The Greenwoods of the Elves, the Elven city.”

“…Is it an official business?”

“Don’t play dumb.”

“You know what I’m going to say, right?”

“You will say no—“

“Okay.”

“…Eh?”

I widen my eyes in utter surprise and gapes my mouth as he readily agrees.

Um…he just said okay to my decision even though he is aware that I am going in the middle of a war.

“You aren’t that weak anymore, Asagao. You are stronger than you think too. You want to tackle this problem and concerns of yours, right?”

“Yes, I want to.”

“Then I’ll support you on that. It’s your decision after all and I promised you that I will be here when you need me but if you think you can still manage, you may do as you please.”

Yes…

He promised me…

He told me that he will be there when I need him…

He accepted everything that I am and will keep accepting what may come…

He even accepted my decision to keep Nil here despite his hate towards him…

I can’t ask for more…

“Thank you, Fonfon!”

“Ah! I-If you can just give me a kiss on the cheek and a tender hug!”

“That’s fine by me but…”

I think what he wants is nothing. I’ve gotten used to it and…I’ve lost any resistance to it. They already molded my mind into a little sister so I might as well immerse myself on that image.

But that’s not the problem…

Miss Hydrangea is right here, looking at Fonfon with disgusted eyes…

“Eh…Hy…?”

“You’re a sick siscon.”

“That’s not true. I just wanted to be spoiled by my little sister too, you know!”

“In that case, you should spoil me too.”

“How?”

“Kiss me too. Well, after they left.”

“Okay!”

“Not on the cheeks, just to be clear.”

“Of course…”

Upon Fonfon’s answer, Miss Hydrangea left his lap and beckons me to do it. However, before I can even get close to Fonfon, Hydrangea held my shoulder.

“I changed my mind. Give me that kiss and hug instead.”

“Hy!!”

“Problem? She will be my sister-in-law, right?”

“That’s…”

Fonfon hangs his head in his defeat and falls on his chair as both despair and anguish paints his face. I feel like he just turned black and white with empty eyes with tears flowing out from his eyelids.

I feel really bad for him but there’s a part of me that is relieved.

Miss Hydrangea pointed on her cheek and I kiss it without a problem. I don’t want it to end up as a simple peck so I press my lips for about three seconds before pulling away.

After that, a tender hug.

Her small petite figure is so soft and the fragrance that she has is like a tropical paradise. Her softness touches with mine and warmth spreads throughout our contact.

“I’m sorry Asagao, I can’t let you take Alstroemeria with you. We shouldn’t disturb her training and mediation. Even Tzari would be against it.”

“I know and please, take care of Fonfon and Alstroe.”

“That’s only natural. Take care of yourself too and Topaz if you will.”

“Topaz is plenty strong enough herself but I’ll keep my eyes on her.”

“Heard you right.”

As we separate from each other, a warp appears in the corner of the room and from there, Violetta floats out from there while Topaz appears while walking with unsteady strides while rubbing her eye.

It seems that she was sleeping when Violetta found her. Her disheveled appearance looks so appealing in the eyes as a little part of her dress barely hangs and shows a portion of her cleavage.

“Whew! Whew! Asagao, where did you latch your eyes on?”

“I can’t help it…”

Nil is well aware of where I am looking at. I can’t deny it in the face of the man who knows how my mind works like the back of his hand.

I did say that I’ve lost all the resistance that I have but this is an entirely different thing. When I see boobs, I just can’t ignore it.

I’ve seen those jugs a lot of time when Topaz is naked but the scene where her clothes are barely hanging onto it, it gives a whole lot more of experience.

“Enough with the dawdling, Asagao, are you ready now?”

“Yes…but…Topaz…I feel bad for her.”

“Then I’ll send you to an appropriate place then.”

“Appropriate?”

“Yeah.”

Violetta opens another warp in front of us while guiding Topaz’s steps. Because we already have the confirmation that we want, Mimi starts walking beside me.

“I’ll follow wherever you want to be, master.”

“I’ll be troubled if you played rogue on me. After all, I know I can leave you my back, Mimi.”

I replied to Mimi’s words as we smile at each other. It doesn’t really matter now for me what happened to her for the past three days but I am at least comfortable that she readily comes with me.

Topaz first entered the warp as Violetta dutifully guides her and then Mimi and I walks faster to catch up with her.

I was just wondering…

No, this thoughts of mine…something in my guts started churning…

I look back one last time before we enter the warp and what I saw was…

“Ah…”

I leak out a voice as I saw how Violetta was smiling under her robe…eerily and impishly…

It was the evilest smile I’ve ever seen that she made since meeting her. Behind her, Nil is waving his hand with the same smile as Violetta.

Hey, what the hell?!

I tried making a protest with my face as a sudden change in their expression occurs but we got deeper into the warp and before I knew it, we’ve already arrived at the destination that Violetta opened the warp to.

As we pass the light, my eyes are immediately blocked by something.

Hmm?

It’s soft and squishy and so fluffy. Also, it’s oddly warm so I tried taking it off from my face.

“…”

“Pii!”

“…”

“Pii!”

“Ow!!”

“Pii! Pii!!”

“Damn bird!”

It was Emby who blocked my view and pecked me twice on the forehead!

Why?!

“It’s Asagao, Topaz, and Mimi! Wait, what are you guys doing here?”

“Casablanca…Hibiscus…”

We were sent to the twin’s room while they are in the middle of changing.

An appropriate place indeed.
