“I’ve always wanted to see you again, Nil.”
“Sorry for you, I don’t feel the same. Because you know, I’ve always been peeking at what you are doing.”
“Well, I do feel like that’s something you’d do…”
What’s going on here?
Miss Asagao and the man, Nil, walks closer towards each other and stares eye to eye longingly. Nil kneels on one knee and places a hand on Miss Asagao’s cheek and she did the same in return. An atmosphere of extreme closeness and mutual affection between them immediately radiated.
Lovers? No, it feels like their connection went beyond that. Not even a married couple would have an understanding as deep as their stares at each other can portray.
Contrary to Miss Asagao and Nil, Alstroemeria faces Hydrangea with wary eyes, nevertheless, bows down slightly in a show of respect.
“You’ve gotten quite pathetic.”
“…”
Instead of answering back, Alstroemeria just hung her head in silence. The small back of Alstroemeria becomes even smaller as she fell silent. I don’t really know who is she and what’s her identity but talking like that to Alstroemeria…
“That’s a joke. Don’t you hear a lot of those nowadays?”
“I’m sorry…I cannot distinguish it right now…I’m a little…”
“What?”
“…”
“You’ve got to be frank with your feelings and clear your mind. Such as is the path of Brahma to attain complete balance.”
“It’s not like that Master Hy…”
“I know. Little Alstroemeria, you are infuriated, which is rare. The stillness before inside you become a raging storm of frustration and vexation. You are greatly shaken to the point that what little Ki you have became shaken.”
“Eh? You know more about how I feel than myself?!”
For Alstroemeria’s case, that possibility of being like that isn’t even low. The fact that she held onto her happy life full of smiles even though transient, is a proof that she has neither idea nor grasps of her own emotions.
What sort of feelings does she bear right now in her heart?
I am pretty sure she is angry at me and that’s a fact that I cannot brush off. But, angry at me for what reason?
It’s obvious…
Cecille, don’t be so dumb and shallow, don’t be so cold and heartless. Alstroemeria’s feelings have become my priority now.
Not much I can say if I tried prioritizing her safety if she is way stronger than me…
“The cause of your shrinking, the sudden stop gap of your power, and the system behind your Ki demoting at this level, Lord Nil and I have become aware of the solution a few days ago.”
“Master Hydrangea, what has come of my powers…?”
“Your psychological aspect is one of the factors too. Unstable mind means further straying away from your connection with the world. No, that kind of connection is only special to you, little Alstroemeria.”
“Eh? But aren’t all Ki masters should be connected with the world? It’s utmost importance that’s why we are to meditate.”
“At some degree, we are connected to the world, however, you, Alstroemeria, is favored by the world itself.”
From Hydrangea’s words, I myself gapes at the statement and the girl in subject stares back, dumbfounded, unable to quickly comprehend the meaning of those words. The surprise also wore down Miss Asagao’s calm demeanor to a sudden flabbergast.
Favored by the world must be equally favored by the Goddess of Blessing…
It was no exaggeration that Alstroemeria is liked by existence standing on a different plane than us. Does it also mean that her extreme and tremendous power in Ki came from them?
“Your connection with the world is all the result of a karmic cycle.”
“Karmic Cycle?! It means reincarnation, returning to life from the highest point of the sanctuary, Nirvana!”
“That is correct. Alstroemeria, you are repeatedly killed and reborn for ten thousand and three hundred seventy-two years.”

Once again, she made an absurd statement that defies common sense. It was nothing at the scope of Alstroemeria’s absurdity anymore. It is a statement that should be proven by facts.
That’s how smart people live through, by checking facts and taking in the proper solution.
But what can I say?
Among the people here right now, I am the only normal one.
I.AM.THE.ONLY.NORMAL.ONE.
As I look at the side of the house though, I saw her immediately. Miss Daisy cowering in fear with blank eyes as she observes the situation.
Beasts know well what is dangerous and she deemed it safer to hide.
Karmic Cycle…
“Does Tzari knows?”
I let that question out of my lips.
Surely Tzari should be aware of it. If not, he should be able to comprehend the reason of the Karmic Cycle.
“An incompetent human like him? Tzari the sage of the North wouldn’t even notice it.”
“I see…”
“After all, this case of Karmic Cycle is out of the norms as well. It is a cycle tampered and fabricated by an Arcana Magic. Under normal circumstances, back-water simple magic won’t even affect the threads of the fate of a person, however…”
Hydrangea glances of over to Nil who was enjoying Miss Asagao’s company.
Before I realized it, the discussion has become one-sided and Miss Asagao and Nil started their own conversation under a tree.
What’s more is that Miss Asagao offered Nil a pillow lap while brushing his hair.
What are they, really?
“My Lord, who holds more than a hundred of Arcana Magic, made a miracle.”
“A miracle?”
“Yes, a miracle brought forth from the wretched power of Arcana Magic.”
Wait…
If, and if, all of her words are taken to be the truth, doesn’t that mean that the man, Nil, did all of these said miracles for Alstroemeria?!
That Alstroemeria’s strength is something Nil gave to her.
“Then this Ki of mine is…?”
“It is yours to use nonetheless. It’s an accumulation of your Karma, a carryover from your past selves that died.”
Alstroemeria’s shrilly voices asked that question before being answered with flat and unwavering voice. To speak lightly of someone’s death, and moreover, her past self might be too much…
On top of blowing the news of her parent’s death, Alstroemeria, right now, may undergo an existential crisis. It’s one thing to another…
If only they hadn’t shown up. If I hadn’t spoken of her parents…
“Is that so?”
That’s what only Alstroemeria said with hardened countenance.
She glances over to Miss Asagao and Nil before glancing back to Hydrangea.
“Nevermind that, why is that man so close with Asagao?!”
“…”
I, for once, tripped at nothing even while standing still…
That’s my Alstroemeria!
She didn’t even comprehend anything, she didn’t even try to understand anything, and in one fling of her head, she forgot how serious the situation is!
Even Hydrangea was gaping at Alstroemeria’s reaction.
“Pfft…!”
“Hmm?”
“Ahaha…Ahahaha! Hahaha! So…this is the girl loved by the world! A raging simpleton! I’ve known that for a long time but still…!”
Hydrangea burst out in laughter while holding her sides. I can see where she is pulling those laughs at but for the person who raised Alstroemeria, I am embarrassed to raise such raging simpleton.
Alstroemeria angrily stomps her way towards Miss Asagao and Nil with a pouted face.
“It’s fine even if you break his bones and slam him on the ground. He is that resilient after all.”
“Hy, you traitor! Aren’t you supposed to be protecting me?!”
Hydrangea and Nil had a brief talk and Nil suddenly separated from Miss Asagao because of Alstroemeria’s impending arrival.
From the looks of it, Alstroemeria will seriously slam him on the ground.
CRACK
“Arrrhhggghh!”
“GET AWAY FROM ASAGAO!”
BAM!
Alstroemeria really did slam him on the ground. She grabbed him by the wrist and without regards to human physiology, flung him towards the grassy field without hesitation.
The strength behind was so great that the ground cracked.
Despite that…
“Well, well, I’m sorry for trying to get Asagao all by myself! But you see, Asagao and I have become really close without you noticing!~”
“I’ll…I won’t forgive you for hurting Asagao. All of what you have done, all of the pain you gave her, even if she forgives you, I won’t. You also killed someone she cares for.”
“Figures.”
Her words are no mere sense of justice.
Alstroemeria, from the bottom of her heart, bare her feelings tinged with the animosity that I have never seen before.
Was this man, Nil, really did something terrible? Or was it good? Which is it?
“[Nirvana!]”
Idiot…!
Alstroemeria suddenly unleashes her vast amount of Ki and uses Nirvana.
I am well aware of her strength when unrestrained. Even if her Ki right now was greatly weakened, that doesn’t mean she is weak.
Red streaks started appearing on her limbs and her bright yellow eyes glitter like the stars. Even in a form of a child, the state of Nirvana is still a sight to behold.
“Alstroe, there’s no need to fight anymore.”
“No, Asagao! I…I…right now…I am…”
“There’s no need to fight…Alstroe, let them be.”
Miss Asagao embraces Alstroemeria from behind as if to spread the warmth. She started caressing Alstroemeria’s head with tenderness.
However, Alstroemeria brushes her off.
“[Avidya Severance – Cosmic Energy; Shakti!]”
The streaks in Alstroemeria’s limbs gather at one point.
It becomes a crimson, red edge power that seems to suck everyone’s eyes to its magnificent beauty. A dazzling power that has already engulfed me in its seething majesty and radiance. Alstroemeria’s body accelerated at which a mere naked eye cannot even comprehend anymore…
But at this moment, I feel like what’s in front of was moving really slow.
Each second of time was further minced to a portion of a moment and the delay of every millisecond stagnates my sense of reality.
Alstroemeria, possessed by an emotion she cannot handle, flew towards Nil in her best kicking stance.
This is what I fear…
Alstroemeria’s rampage…
“Leaps and bound, you always exceed my expectation, however, do not think such half birthed powers of your is enough for such as I, Hydrangea.”
Before Alstroemeria’s attack connects, Hydrangea…casually caught her feet.
And my broken sense of time, flowed again naturally.
A huge torrent of wind and dust rises from the ground…is what I wanted to say but such thing never came. It’s like, Hydrangea didn’t just catch the attack with a single hand, she also neutralizes the after effect of Alstroemeria in her Nirvana state.
“How--?! That’s…!”
Even Alstroemeria…didn’t know what happened.
“You need to cool your head for a moment. Rage doesn’t befit you, Alstroemeria.”
As Hydrangea said those words, she places a hand on Alstroemeria’s solar plexus calmly and gently while she is still dumbfounded.
“[Arcana of Wrath]”
Hydrangea muttered as chaotic black mist gathers at her palm.
The eerie power made my heart stop momentarily. It was just too absurd for someone like me to act on a situation where even if the hostility is not directed at me, the power scale was already broken with the tip of the scale itself is tilted to the direction of those abnormals.
“[Collapse.]”
Suddenly, like a puppet with its strings cut, Alstroemeria lost consciousness and her body fell towards Hydrangea in which she herself embraces her small body.
Even Alstroemeria exhibiting the state of Nirvana, they didn’t even flinch…
I’m at my wit’s end…
And before I can collect my calm, another phenomenon happened right in front of our eyes.
“Oh, she’s here.”
A warp portal opens in in the middle of us suddenly.
I know this portal well but…
“This is far cry from Asagao’s job. To think that the two of you will show up, I’m rather getting down with a bad twist of mood.”
“Greetings, Lady Violetta.”
From the portal, Lady Violetta emerges with her magical power running amok with flashes of thunder constantly gushing out but Hydrangea just casually greeted her.
“Since it has come to this, I would like to invite the two of you to the Astlan Castle for a small talk.”
I bet that won’t even be a small talk…
