The golem charges another one of those annoyingly powerful beams. Questioning on what or how that beam is made is stupid because the only answer I can get if you get hit by that, you will turn into ashes!

Higan carried me on her arms as she swiftly dodges the beam. It would be our advantage if the golem is moving slow.

But this golem… after we dodge the beam, it retracted its muzzle and come flying at us with a punch.

The golem was sent flying by my barrier but jokes on you, it didn’t receive even a scratch! And now, it’s running toward us again while holding both of its arms high to strike us down.

It tore the barrier and the earthen wall down!! Higan is able to dodge at the last second but the fragments of rock come flying at us and chunks of it hits us.

The golem shattered to pieces when Higan’s blow it with her attack. The power of Higan’s attack is incredible as it shook the whole cave and left a huge trail of scorched earth behind where the golem was standing earlier.

Because of too much exhaustion, the enhancement on Higan is pulled out and she returns to normal.

I walk towards Higan and she also did the same. We both hold up our hands and did a high five!

“Of course! Asagao is so smart but too reckless!”

Even without meeting her directly, I felt that her hatred for us is deep. She destroyed our bases with no trails left. She is destroying our traces, our culture, our means of existence.

She did all of it in just a span of a week. We were in utter chaos. Instead of continuing the plan of domination, we prioritize our survival against this monster in the skin of a human.

I am now writing this alone in this place, I will follow my fellow researchers to the mainland.

She also destroyed the majority of our cities and she already erasing our blueprints and codes. I hope this facility would survive and be discovered by worth people.

The only thing we can do now is to gamble. We have to trick her into believing that she destroyed our continent. It’s our only means to survive now.

Currently, we are dipping in beautiful natural spring while the sunset is in full view. The place Alstroe took us on the other side of the waterfalls earlier, no, it was a little farther from there too.
