Back at Kirika’s oasis.
Miko laid on the ground breathing heavily.
His hands were bent up and his body was covered in wounds.
“So?”
Kirika stood over him and looked down on him.
“Do you think you can trigger Limit Break whenever you need to?”
Miko slowly shook his head.
“I’ve figured out how to awaken it, but I can’t freely use it like Nen can.”
He answered.
“Well, there’s no need to rush.”
Miko slowly sat up.
“Why do I need to master Limit Break to learn the Ryukami clan’s Raging Dragon Style?”
“Because the Raging Dragon Style requires the user to have a strong body. The strain the body suffers from using the style is so intense that it can destroy the average person. Since Limit Break is similar in that characteristic, mastering it should make learning the style easier.”
Kirika explained.
“My body is pretty touch you know.”
Miko replied.
“True, but that doesn’t mean you should make it a habit to destroy it. The better you control Limit Break the more durable you’ll get. The more durable you are, the further you can walk down the path of the Raging Dragon.”
Said Kirika.
“Say, the Ryukami Clan’s style is called the Raging Dragon Style, but what about the other four Imperial Samurai families?”
Miko asked.
“Hmm….i’m not really knowledgeable about the other four styles, but I did get a brief description of them.”
She lifted her sword in the air.
“Of course, our Raging Dragon style specializes in quick draws and unstoppable momentum. Then there’s the Tsubasa Clan.”
She sheathed her sword and drew it at a speed that Miko couldn’t follow.
A hill behind him was cut clean into two.
Miko looked at it in awe.
“Their style is called the Razor Wing Style. Just like the Raging Dragon style it’s a style that specializes in quick draws and speed; however, they the users remain in place and use Razor Wind attacks like I used just now.”
Razor Wind also known as known as Kama-Itachi.
Those that can use this type of technique can project air/wind or sound in a way that allows them to cut through matter from a distance. Although this attack does usually have slashing damage, some users are able to focus it into a single piercing stab like an invisible bullet.
“Razor Wing Style is a very dangerous style because it’s hard to detect or counter. Also some who've master this style are said to be able to stay from a mile and cut a mountain with a swing of a sword.”
“Damn, that’s some Zoro shit.”
Miko muttered.
Kirika then slowly lifted her sword up. Miko saw her sword leave afterimages as she rose it in the air.
“You saw that?”
Miko nodded.
“Okay, try to counter this.”
Kirika thrust her sword towards Miko.
She did it slowly but Miko saw several afterimages of Kirika’s sword and arm slowly thrusting towards him.
He swung his sword to deflect it when it reached close enough to harm him.
“?!”
However, his sword didn’t hit anything and went right through Kirika's sword and hand.
“And you’re dead.”
Said Kirika after her sword tip touched his chest.
“Its tricky and flashy techniques like that, the Tsukishima clan specializes in.”
She smiled and said.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
“What was that just now?”
Miko asked.
“Illusionary Sword. I projected my sword aura to create illusions to play with your head. I’ll teach you it eventually.”
She pulled back her sword and explained.
“The Tsukishima Clan style is called the Slaughter Moon Style. It’s a sword style consisting of mainly flashy but deadly moves. Each move is incredibly complicated and hard to defend much less counter. Of the five styles, the Slaughter Moon Style is considered the most lethal.”
“Can you give me some more examples of their techniques?”
Miko asked.
“Let’s see….There’s rumors that most of the techniques causes an illusion of a Moon to appear in broad daylight. I believe that it is an illusionary moon created to make their attacks look more flashy.”
“Anything else?”
“I heard that they can ride on a Razor Wind attack and use it to travel.”
“You mean that they can use their swords to create wind and hop on it, and use it as a ride?”
“So I’ve heard.”
‘Those motherfuckers are ballin.’
Miko thought to himself.
“To be honest, considering the sword style you’ve created, this style would be the most suitable for you. Since it’s the closest to an assassin’s swordplay.”
Kirika added.
“Who knows, I meant learn it in the future.”
Miko casually said.
Kirika nodded.
“Okay, the next one is the Shiroyama Clan’s Sword Mountain Style.”
She lifted her sword above her head.
“Hm?”
Miko could hear a humming sound coming from it.
Kirika faced in the opposite direction and swung down her sword.
*Boom!*
Miko watched as everything in front of her, cave in as if it was being pressured by an invisible force.
When the dust cleared, there was a deep trench in the ground. Even a section of a hill was pressed down as if it was hit by a hammer.
“What I just used, is called a Pressure Sword technique. It’s basically using your sword to create a suppressing effect rather than a cutting one.”
Kirika explained.
“Rin used it against Krul when the two of you ganged up on him.”
“I see. It’s similar to a Razor Wind attack but different at the sametime.”
Miko said.
Kirika nodded.
“I’ll teach this as well, but to explain it in simply terms, it’s embedding your sword with your will and cause a surge in the swords intent, while keeping it from escaping. You then release it with a blunt force.”
“……..?”
Miko was beyond confused.
“Don’t worry. Everyone gets confused when it’s explained to them. It’s easier to learn by doing then by hearing about it.”
“…..Okay.”
Miko answered still obviously confused.
“What about the final clan?”
He asked.
“The final clan is the Musougane Clan.”
Kirika put on a serious face.
“Their style is called the Absolute Murder Style.”
“Sounds corny.”
Miko added.
“Corny or not, the name fits the style perfectly.”
Kirika replied.
“There’s a saying about that style. ‘If it’s against that style everything will be murdered, even the world’.”
She said seriously.
“It’s regarded as the #1 sword style in the world by countless people.”
“Is it better than the sword style the Diamond Swordsman uses?”
“Daiya, Kinsuke, and Shiroka helped created this style. In fact it’s the style they used during the war. They left it with their less talented younger brother who shared it with his descendants.”
“And that’s the Musougane Clan?”
Kirika nodded.
"The Musougane’s Style doesn’t specialize in anything. That’s because they’re the best at everything.”
She added.
“Musougane….Peerless Steel huh.”
Miko suddenly grinned.
“I suddenly feel the urge to test if they’re worthy of such a name.”
“Before you can test anything out, you must first become a proper Swordsman.”
Kirika laughed and said.
“But if you still want to test them out in the future, I’ll help you out.”
A savage grin fitting of a dragoness appeared on her face.
“Even I want my blade to taste the blood of the so called strongest.”
Miko smiled when he heard that.
“You know, Kiri. I think the two of us can get along quite well.”
Meanwhile, Alec led Luka and the rest deeper into the Tertitus World.
They headed to where the branch gathers to conduct business, the Meeting Hall.
It was a huge building that had a vintage look and had a majestic feeling.
“Woah….”
The group couldn’t help but to be in awe when they saw it.
“I know that this is a stupid question, but the Dragna clan is really rich isn’t it?”
Asked Sora.
Alec laughed.
“Well, if you put the wealth of the five branches together I’m sure it wouldn’t lose to any empire.”
He answered.
He pushed open the purple and gold door and showed inside.
“Oh?”
When Alec opened the door there was a group of people standing there.
“Geh?!”
Luka stepped back when she saw who it was.
“Chika.”
Standing there were Chika, Verde, Ren, Cait, and Sura.
When Chika saw Luka she smiled.
“Luka, you know her?”
Hina asked.
“Chika Dragna. She’s one of the people who were freed from their imprisonment by Nero.”
Luka answered with a pale face.
“Why are you being so cold?
Chika quickly approached her and wrapped her arms around her.
“We’re friends aren’t we?”
She said with a smile.
“Chika? Wasn’t she number 2 on the list of strongest Miko made?”
Kaido recalled the name and asked.
“Then that must be number 1, Verde.”
He looked at Verde and said.
“Damn, she’s hot!”
Said Sora.
“Hey.”
Ren suddenly appeared in front of him.
“I don’t know who you are but that’s my woman.”
“I don’t who YOU are, but I don’t give a fuck.”
Sora got instantly pissed and retorted.
That’s when Ren was slapped on the back of the head.
“I’m sorry for his rude behavior. He’s certified retarded so you don’t need to pay him any mind.”
Cait came between the two and said.
“Ah, I don’t mind. After all, I get to talk you because of it.”
Sora said with a smooth voice.
“May I be kind enough to get your name?”
He casually approached Cait and said.
“Ace and Sora hit on everything don’t they?”
Bloom asked.
“As long as it has a skirt.”
Hina replied with a sigh.
“Oh!”
That’s when Ren finally noticed the girls.
“So many beautiful women. What a kind present, brother.”
He looked at Alec and said.
“Sorry to break it to you, but these are Miko women. Don’t need to say more do I?”
“Tsk.”
Ren clicked his tongue and immediately ignored the girls’ existence.
“For some reason, I feel offended.”
Said Hina.
Ren then looked at Kaido.
“This is surprising. You’re still alive. You’re tougher than I thought.”
“It won’t be like that next time.”
Said Kaido.
Ren laughed in response.
“Oh, brother.”
He then turned to Alec.
“Father left and went off to handle some business.”
“Business?”
Alec pondered for a while before nodding.
“I understand. I’ll be sure to tell Kiri later.”
‘The old man has been acting strange lately……Since we came here, he showed no intention of interacting with anyone from the other branches. He wasn’t even interested in meet our progenitor.’
Alec thought to himself.
‘Could the old man be…..’
He shook his head.
“If that was true, then this will cause a huge problem later on.”
“Oh, do you know what they’re calling my generation, brother?”
Ren interrupted his thoughts and said.
He smiled as said.
“They’re calling the 15 of us Disaster Children.”
