Bloody Justice

District 4. The Twin Headed Dragon Syndicate’s HQ.

“To thing that Sebas actually lost to a gang that was created by a 13 year old kid.”

The one who said that was a woman who was in a courtesan style yukata.

She had her black hair tied up in a bun, and had green reptilian eyes.

This woman was the left fang of the Syndicate and one of its best fighters and executives, Aoi Tsuyoshi.

She was sitting on her back porch looking at the koi pond in her back yard, while smoking a pipe.

“Sebas' lost just shows us how dangerous this heavenly demon king really is.”

The one who responded was a ferocious looking muscular man covered in scars. He had short black hair and golden feline eyes.

He was wearing a kimono with its sleeves ripped off and a tape wrapped around his fingers.

This was the right fang of the Syndicate, Taiga Kitora.

“Dangerous, huh. Then your children suffering miserable at his hands were natural?”

Aoi said with a teasing tone.

“They were just too weak to compare to him, that's all.”

Taiga answered.

“Hmm…well you're their father.”

Aoi continued to look at her pond while smoking her pipe.

“So? What is the boss’ verdict on the whole situation?”

She asked after puffing out some smoke.

“I doubt he'll just let another proxy come and stir up the city.”

“The boss is still hibernating.”

“Still? It's been 4 months now.”

Taiga nodded his head.

“His Qigong training is making a breakthrough, so he needs time to solidify his foundation.”

“I could never understand this Qigong. It sounds too complicated to learn.”

“I don't really get it either, but the boss is no longer the only one in the city that can use it.”

“Oh? Don't tell me the kid can use it too?”

Taiga nodded again.

“His abnormal strength and ability to easily destroy anti-magic armor is proof.”

“…Well his clan is a little special so him knowing Qigong isn't that surprising when you think about it.”

She stretched her arms over her head and released a seductive moan. She then looked back at taiga, who showed no reaction to her moan.

“....A boring guy as always. You could at least peek at my breasts jumping when I was stretching you know. Am I that unattractive?”

“Whether you're attractive or not, it has nothing do with our conversation.”

Taiga spoke with a bit of annoyance.

“Fine. Let's keep this serous.”

Aoi pouted.

“What are we going to do about this Miko?”

“Leave him for now. We're still recovering ourselves, so there's no need for us to harm ourselves further just to get rid of him.”

“But if he attack us, we'll destroy him right?”

“Of course.”

Aoi smiled again.

“That's great. I can't wait to get a taste of such a pretty boy.”

She said as she seductively licked her lips.

A month after the war of the Night District.

The battle between Exsul and Sebas caused a great impact on the city and the people. Especially the result.

Unknown to Sebas, Edward streamed the entire war for the city to see from start to finish. The only thing that wasn't streamed was Edward negotiations with Sebas.

The people were able to see the power of a pillar as well as the power of Exsul. They could determine that Exsul was a terrifying group that could go toe to toe with the city's military.

What really caught everyone's eyes was Miko's strength.

On the first day Miko clashed head on with Sebas and his army with a small group of soldiers. He was forced to retreat, but not before severely injuring Sebas and plunging his army into chaos.

Another incident that showed his power more clearly, was he taking on an entire army by himself and slaughtering every single one of them.

He then went on to fight Carter who was a well known General and won after a brutal battle.

In the eyes of the people, Miko was a terrifying existence.

Another terrifying thing about him was his swords.

Regis showed advance intellect from the start of the war, and continued to clash with her enemy with inferior forces until she completely defeated them.

And then there was Ishma.

Out of everyone in this war she was considered the most terrifying. She fought equally with a Nemean Armored Vehicle that was equivalent to X Class, and for almost two days to boot. She was probably the only one that could do in the city.

Because of the feats of these people who stood at the center of Exsul, it was considered the third party in the city and thus obstructing the balance of the city.

7th District’s residential area.

Kaido stood in his living room staring at the person who invited themselves into his home.

“Yo, Kaido! It's been a while.”

Said Miko who sat in Kaido's sofa with Ishma and Regis at his side.

“Yo.”

Kaido didn't show a reaction to Miko's intrusion, and took a seat not too far from Miko.

“Hana?”

“Shes still asleep. We made sure not to wake her.”

Said Regis.

“I see.”

“You look relieved. It's not like I would hurt her.”

Kaido eyes widen for a split second before returning to his normal deadpan look.

“You can figure out my emotions?”

He said with an unnatural voice.

The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.

Miko nodded.

“More or less. I couldn't at first, but they became clearer the more we interacted.”

“…..Your Observation skills are incredible.”

“You look nervous now. Does having someone other than Hana read your expressions freak you out?”

Miko said with a laugh.

“……..”

Kaido said nothing and just stared at Miko.

After a while he finally spoke.

“So? What did you come here for? Also, I don't remember giving you my address.”

“I'm the boss of the infamous Exsul. It was pretty easy to find your address.”

“Oh, sorry for my rudeness. Hail to the Don.”

Kaido said with a bow.

“Hahaha! Despite being expressionless you sure have a good sense of humor.”

Said Miko.

“As for why I'm here, I'm here to give you my thanks.”

“For what?”

“For giving me the idea to start Exsul and more importantly for introducing me to Edward.”

“Sounds like he's become a great partner.”

Miko nodded.

“I won't say that I couldn't achieve everything I have by myself, but having him around made it a lot easier.”

“I see.”

Kaido answered in monotone, but Miko could sense a smile coming from him.

“Oh, quick question. I'm sure you've watched my battles during the war, so I wanna know.”

Miko showed a mischievous smile and asked.

“In your opinion, who would win in a fight between me and you?”

“…….”

Kaido remained silent for a while before opening his mouth.

“If we're using the strength you display during the war as your limit, then it would be my win easy.”

“?!”

Miko was quite surprised to hear Kaido say that, and with so much confidence too.

It made him question just how powerful was this guy?

“….I see.”

It also made him pretty excited.

If Kaido was able say that he would win easily against Miko's Demon Dragonite form then that meant that Miko would need to use Deus Malum to beat Kaido. Not only Kaido but Jin too as an extension, since it was stated that Jin was pretty much equal to Kaido in strength.

“Are you really that interested in fighting me?”

Kaido asked.

“Of course!”

Miko said with an energetic nod.

“Why? I don't remember acquiring your hatred?”

Miko could sense confusion coming from Kaido, and a little bit of sadness.

“Ah. It's not like that. It just my genetics. I come from a long line of fighting maniacs so I can't help but to get excited by a good fight to the death.”

Miko hastily explained.

“….I don't get it.”

“Well most people don't. It's just that my clan is bit special. You know, with the dragon blood and all.”

(Don't blame my blood for your fanatic behavior towards fighting. It's all Augustus. I'm a very passive person, while he's always been a war junkie.)

Tiamat defended herself.

However Miko nearly burst out laughing. After all Tiamat was known for her chaotic behavior and her ferocity. So saying that she's passive was a big joke to Miko.

“I see. It's a dragna thing.”

Miko nodded his head.

“Speaking of which…”

Miko just remembered something he was really curious about.

“Kaido, what exactly are you?”

He asked.

“I mean what race are you? I've been trying to figure it out from the day we met, but haven't been able to figure it out.”

Miko has never been able to determine just what race Kaido belonged to no matter how much he tried.

That was because Kaido gives off a human feeling but at the same time a beastly feeling. Normally that would mean that Kaido was a half breed Beastman but Miko didn't believe that was the case.

The reason was because Kaido, even though only on rare occasions, gives off a godly and demonic feeling.

It was like every race was poured inside a container (Kaido) and then mixed together to form something different.

Keep in mind that Miko was originally human with demon, dragon, and god blood….

“……”

Kaido didn't answer Miko's question, but Miko could sense a weird mood coming from him.

It was a mixture of anger and sadness.

‘….Looks like I asked something I shouldn't have.’

Miko thought to himself with a wry.

But when he thought about it some more, Kaido's nickname was The Chimera. This nickname could be related to his abilities or race.

Despite it upsetting Kaido, Miko couldn't help but to become more curious about his race.

Later that night.

District 2.

A man was walking through the night by himself. This man was dressed in a suit and was holding a briefcase.

This man was quite attractive especially with his thin frame glasses and his brown hair swept back. He gave off the feeling of a scholar.

This man walked in silence through the district, not even his steps made a sound. It was like the world became silent wherever he went.

“Ugh!”

The man suddenly heard a groan and stopped.

“Hm?”

He tried to listen for the groan again.

“Argh!”

“This way, huh?”

The man mumbled and then walked towards an alley where he heard the sound coming from.

When he reached the alley and peeked into it, his eyes squinted.

He saw five big body teens surrounding another teen and taking turns hitting him.

“Hahaha! Take this!”

“Ugh!”

The teen that was surrounded was punched in the face and then pushed towards another teen.

“You cocky little bastard!”

The surrounded teen was then uppercut and would've fell on his back if he wasn't caught by another teen who elbowed him in the face.

The man watched this scene with calm eyes and survey the area.

There he saw another disturbing scene.

“Hahahah! You like that don't you, you dirty bitch!”

The man saw two boys holding down a girl’s arms while another boy was between her legs thrusting his hips.

The girl was being raped.

“H-Help me…”

The girl weakly called out while looking towards the boy who was being beaten up.

The boy was too busy getting beaten to respond to her.

“…….”

The man watched all this take place, before looking at his watch.

“I guess have time.”

Saying so the man walked into the alley and coughed.

“Who's there?!”

Hearing the cough, the boys all turned and faced the man.

“What do you want old man?!”

Shouted one of the teens.

The man pointed at the boy and the girl.

“You two, I can help you if you want. But you have to promise me to fight together.”

The boy’s and girl’s eyes lit up with hope when they heard that.

“We promise!”

“Please save me!”

They shouted simultaneously.

The man nodded and approached the teens.

“What is he some hero? Get him!”

The teens got angry with the man interrupting their fun and charged towards him.

“Die!”

The first teen that reached him punched him across the face.

To the surprise of the girl and boy, the man that came to their rescue fell to the ground after one punch.

“What the? You're hella weak, and you dare to interrupt our good time?! Kill him!”

The teens got even angrier and started to mercilessly beat the man down.

The boy and girl watched in horror and despair.

“Hey look!”

That's until they saw a route for them to escape now that all the teens were preoccupied.

“Let's get out of here!”

Said the boy as he grabbed the half naked girl and ran.

“Are you breaking our promise?”

“?!”

The boy and girl’s body suddenly froze and was unable to move a muscle.

Behind them, the teens were also unable to move.

The only one who could was the man who laid on the ground.

He calmly got up and fixed his broken glasses on his face, and straighten his dirty clothes.

“Someone put themselves in harms way to save you, and you abandon them without hesitation when a path to safety conveniently opens itself to you?”

The man then had a disappointed look on his face.

“Y-You bastard! What did you do to us?!”

A teen shouted with a stiff face.

The man calmly looked at them and-

“Silence. The voice of scum like you will only pollute the ears of society.”

He snapped his fingers and all the teens that attacked him suddenly started bleeding from their eyes and nose.

And then-

*Boom!*

They blew up and stained the walls of alley.

“Now then.”

The man ignored the gruesome scene he created and walked towards the boy and the girl.

He stopped and looked at their frighten expressions.

“Those boys were scum for what they did to you, but you who abandon me to my death are no better.”

“Please! We're sorry!”

The man sighed at the girl's plea.

“I'll give you a chance to decide which one of you will die and who would live.”

He lifted a finger.

“One minute. Take one minute to discuss among yourselves.”

“Kill her and spare me!”

The boy quickly shouted.

“You son of a bitch! Kill him instead! If you spare me I'll do anything you want!”

The girl shouted back.

Disappointment once again appeared on the man's face.

“There's no saving you people.”

He snapped his fingers and a fist sized hole appeared in the two of their chests.

They died instantly and fell on the ground.

The man watched them bleed out and sighed.

“Another failure, huh?”

He turned his back and walked out of the alley.

“This society is truly disgusting isn't?”

The man suddenly saw a robotic eagle land in front of him.

“And you are?”

The man asked calmly.

“My name isn't important, but you can call my Equalist.”

“Ah, the Infected Killer.”

“That's right.”

“So did you come for my life? Considering I'm an infected and all.”

The man spoke with a carefree tone.

“No, no, no. I came here to ask for your assistance, Bloody Justice.”

“Call me Andre.”

“Alright, Andre.”

The man nodded with approval.

“So what do you want my help with, Equalist?”

“Nothing much, just carrying out crusade against Infecteds.”

The eagle said nonchalantly.

“Mhm~. So, why do you think I would help you?”

“Because our goals align.”

“How so?”

“My goal is to create an infected free society, while your goal is cleanse society of the scum that's destroying it from the inside.”

“And you believe that Infecteds are those scums?”

The eagle nodded.

“That's right. As someone who consider himself as a functional member of society I'm sure you've notice that Infecteds get away with a lot of stuff that normal people wouldn't have.”

“That's because the city emphasize our importance for their resource. But I get where you're going with this. Most of the scum I've erased were Infecteds who used their special privileges to do as they want. But that doesn't mean that we all need to be erased.”

“True, not all Infecteds are bad. But as it stands Infecteds will get more and more unreasonable and continue to wreck havoc. I'm not asking you to kill every one of them, just help me create a society where everyone is equal and no one is above the law. Won't that make your goal a lot easier to achieve.”

Andre shook his head.

“What you're talking about is nonsense, so I won't join you. But...”

He paused as if thinking about something.

“You've opened my eyes a bit. I guess I'll do you a favor and erase all the infected scum, ill even put it at the top of my to do list. After that I'll show you that not all of us are scum. Maybe that will change your view on us. If it doesn't and you continue to kill us indiscriminately, then I'll just erase you and crush your crusade.”

“….I see. I'll keep your words in mind.”

Andre then turned around and picked up his briefcase.

“Now if you will excuse me, I have work in the morning. My boss will chew me up if I'm late again.”

He then walked away without looking back.

“……..”

The eagle stood in front of the alley until Andre left.

“Hmph. Aren't you just scum as well?”

It mumbled.

“Well, whatever. What's important that I was able to convince him to focus more on killing Infecteds. With that the first phase of the crusade is already complete.”

The eagle laughed and then flew away.

Back in the alley were blood splattered everywhere, there was a message left on the walls by using the parts that weren't stained with blood.

The message read the following:

“If justice is denied then let blood flow and cleanse the wickedness from society.”
