Hmm....I've been minding to clear something up about Deus Malum.
You guys seem to misunderstand how it works but I guess it's my fault.
Let me clear this up.
When Miko threw Nero like a doll Deus Malum was out of control. If Miko was to activate the 1st and 2nd stages he wouldn't be able to do so.
Deus Malum at the moment is a berserk technique, meaning that it's at its most powerful when out of control.
Reason for this is because when it goes out of control all of the powers in Miko's soul are released at full capacity and without restraint. Miko has 10,000 years worth of power in his soul that Augustus has been gathering, when that's released he can destroy the world three times over.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
This isn't good for Miko either. Later down you'll see that Deus Malum has some strong side effects on Miko which could destroy him before he masters the technique.
This is the reason it is broken into five stages so that Miko can gain control of that power and make it his own.
Now let's discuss the power boost from the five stages.
1st Stage- 100% power boost plus special abilities.
2nd Stage- 300% power boost, plus special abilities.
3rd Stage- 1000% power boost, special abilities, unique magic, Berserk Mode.
4th Stage- God Level power, pinnacle of darkness, unique evil power, OP as fuck.
5th Stage- Supreme Evil Being, Anti-God, infinite power.
So yeah, unless Miko opens the 4th Stage he can't beat people like Nero and Higher Beings.
The first two stages that he's currently unlock can only boast his strength and grant him some unique abilities. From the third stage up he starts to become something completely different.
With the fifth stage, it would be fine even if Miko didn't become the supreme being, because he would still rival it.
So yeah, new chapter tomorrow I just wanted to clear up this misunderstanding.
Oh, Miko will use the first stage in this arc.
