Mythical Conquest
Need help deciding something(not a chapter)

Need help deciding something(not a chapter)

So I've been troubled over this for a while.

I was considering continuing the story in a new book with the title Mythical Conquest: Rise Of The Emperor/Empire

I wanted to do this for two reasons:

1. This book had a rough start and is filled with negative comments and reviews which could turn away potential readers. This is mainly my fault. For example, a lot of people didn't like Hina's debut or the second arc. Another mistake is the 12 chapter flashback about Luka's parents. Originally I didn't plan to make it longer than five chapters, but it just happened. Sometime when you're writing something it's like the story writes itself and you're the reader instead of the author. I'll be honest, even after 100 chapters I don't feel like the author of this story. I just feel like a reader waiting on chapters like everyone else. Even when I take breaks it's like I'm waiting for the chapters to pile up so that I can binge read it.

2. The other reason I wanted to move to another book is because the number of chapters. I mean there's 101 chapters posted and Miko still isn't king, but a lot of stuff went down to build up to his fight for the throne. So you can imagine how much chapters this story will have by the end. Hell, even I don't know how much chapters this will have. All I know is that I plan to break the story in five parts, and each part will be incredibly long. The second part is where the story truly begins, and where certain characters that will change the story forever will finally make their debut. The third part is where the story tone and setting completely change. The four part is constant wars and masscres. The fifth part is when I plan to set the world on fire.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

So yeah, the story is gonna be long. One piece long or would martial world be a better example?

Anyway, the reason why I'm hesitating to split the books is because of the popularity that the story is currently receiving. The story has constantly been in the top 20 weekly rankings for the last few months. The only time it's not is when I take a break. It's currently at #12 in the weekly rankings.

It took me awhile before the story reach this level of popularity whether positive or negative. This is the reason I'm hesitating to split the story.

I feel like all my hard work would go down the drain, and I'll have to start from square one.

Now, I'm a lazy person. I'm not one of those masochists that enjoys the struggle to the top. So fighting my way back up is literally a pain in the ass!

But then again, when I make a decision its hard for me to change my mind. Even if I do it will bug me. But I'm so lazy!

Well, you might find it hard to believe since I release 2000/3000 characters chapter every day.

I'll be honest, I do this for you guys....Well, mostly your comments. I love when people comment on my work. If I don't recieve any comments, my motivation plummets big time. There were a lot time I felt like just fuck it, and quit the story. The reason I didn't was because it's hard for me to break out of a routine. But I did say fuck it to my other story. Although I do plan on finishing that later on.

Well, anyway. Tell me what you guys think on the polls, and if you like you can explain in detail in the comments section. Remember I like comments, the more comments the more I feel motivated and more I push to increase the story's quality.
