Silent Anger Is The Most Dangerous Form Of Anger

Silent Anger Is The Most Dangerous Form Of Anger

When Miko left Bloom’s room he was silent as he walked with Kaido.

There wasn’t an ounce of emotion on his face, which match with that of Kaido’s.

When you look at the two from a far they would look like two walking machines without any signs of humanity.

However, despite both of them seeming emotionless there was one of them who was from that.

This was of course Miko.

“Miko.”

“Hm?”

The two spoke without looking at each other.

“I advice you to not go too far. Remember you hold the lives of an entire kingdom in your hands. If you kill everyone here then you will make the entire Silver Continent your enemy.”

“…….”

“Miko.”

“Thanks for the advice, Kaido. You make a great friend. However….”

As the two walked their surroundings suddenly became silent as Miko’s eyes lost all of its light and became dull and lifeless.

“I’m not really in the mood to take advices from others.”

After saying so he parted ways with Kaido and walked into a different direction.

Kaido stood in place and watched Miko’s back.

“Things could, no. Things are going to get messy.”

He turned his head and walked into a different direction.

He looked at his hands that were damped in cold sweat and clenched them.

“How long has it been since I’ve felt true fear, I wonder?”

He sighed.

“I kinda feel sorry for everyone here. Oh, well.”

He suddenly felt his phone vibrate and took it out.

“Hana?”

There was a notification that he received a message from Hana.

“?!”

When he opened the message his emotionless was suddenly covered with shock.

After a while the surprise on his face turned into anger.

“I see. So that’s how you wanna play, Blanche. Fine, I’ll play along for now.”

After saying that, Kaido put the phone back into his pocket and left the coliseum.

After parting with Kaido, Miko returned to his waiting room. He didn’t use it before, but after Bloom was done in he had Sola and Yota wait in there.

“Don!”

When Miko entered the room, Yota, Sola, and Regis and Ishma were there. Yota and Sola immediately greeted him.

However they took a step back when they sensed the aura around him.

Miko’s face was still deadpan but they could sense that he wasn’t to be approached carelessly.

Miko silently stared at them for a while before showing a smile.

“What’s wrong?”

He asked.

“Ah, nothing.”

Said Sola.

“Are you okay, don?”

“I’m fine. Other than the inability to use Qi for the rest of the day, I’m alright.”

“Well, you should still be able to win without it, so that’s alright.”

Said Regis.

As Miko’s regalia, Regis could tell what he’s feeling, because of this she could tell that the current Miko was like a walking nuke.

Instead of losing, she could see him torturing this academy.

“Sola, drop out of the tournament in your next match.”

Miko suddenly said.

“….Why?”

The sudden request shocked Sola so she couldn’t help but to ask.

“I want you and Yota to go back to the base and meet up with Edward. You are to focus all of your energy on strengthening Exsul for war.”

“…..Who’s the enemy?”

“Everybody. The Pillars, the Syndicate, and everyone else who pissed me off.”

The smile dropped from his face.

“I’ve honestly lost all patience when it comes to this place. So after I’m finished here, I’ll focus on crushing the city. After that we’ll return to the Dragna Kingdom.”

He said without changing expressions.

Anyone could tell from his tone that Miko was honestly fed up with Grim City and just wanted to destroy it and be on his way.

“I-I understand. Then I’ll forfeit immediately.”

Miko nodded.

Sola immediately left the room and went to find the tournament authorities. Yota followed behind her so that they could depart immediately after she was done with what she was doing.

“How’s Bloom?”

Regis asked.

“She could be better, but she isn’t in critical condition anymore.”

Miko answered indifferently.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

He then turned around to left the room.

“Let’s go. My turn should be coming up.”

“Do you want us to help? We are technically your swords after all. We should be allowed to fight with you.”

“Not necessary.”

Miko said as he walked out of the room.

Ishma and Regis followed behind him.

“I want to finish everything at this academy with my own hands. If I use you two then it would lose all purpose.”

They quickly reached the battlefield and saw Flow standing in the center of the battlefield.

“We just got word that Flow’s opponent Sola Azalea forfeited before the match and left the compound to handle some urgent business. As such the winner by default is Flow Mizune!”

Jun secretly sighed in relief after he said that.

Knowing his son’s personality he would’ve tried to hurt Sola in order to provoke Miko.

After seeing the power that Miko had within him, Jun didn’t want to provoke him no matter what.

Flow who stood on the stage frowned and then looked at Miko who had just arrived.

Miko felt his gaze and looked at him with indifference before looking in a different direction.

He looked at the board and saw that it was his turn to fight, however the name of his opponent wasn’t what he wanted to see.

“It’s time for the next fight! Will both contestants enter the battle field!”

An aggressive looking man with a Mohawk entered the field.

He was the 5th Throne, The Grappler Romario.

He stood with a proud look like he was the king of the world.

That was until he realized that Miko hadn’t taken a single step from where he was.

“Contestants please take the field!”

Jun repeated himself with cold sweat drenching his back.

“……..”

However Miko still didn’t move. He didn’t even glimpsed at the battlefield.

“Umm….Gamiko Dragna the Third?”

Even when his name was called Miko didn’t respond.

It was only after a long pause he finally spoke.

“I’m not fighting him. I want a different opponent.”

Romario heard that and instantly became irritated.

“What? Is the great Heavenly Demon King afraid of me?”

Miko heard his taunt and finally looked at him.

His eyes silently turned purple.

And then-

“Die.”

“Guh?!”

The moment Miko said that Romario felt an overwhelming pain in his chest.

“Blegh?!”

He suddenly started vomiting blood like a hose before tumbling over.

He died without being able to resist, which showed that he was far inferior to Miko.

“I like I said, I want another opponent.”

The entire audience was silent.

No one could understand what just happened.

Just one word, Miko spoke just one word to Romario and he was dead.

This was just too inconceivable.

“You say you want a different opponent but you’ve already killed the one that we’ve prepared….”

Said Jun.

“Then let me choose my opponent.”

Miko said indifferently.

“I’m afraid we can’t-”

*Boom!*

Before Jun could respond, a section of the coliseum exploded after being hit by a bolt of green lightning.

“He wasn’t asking you, he was ordering you.”

Said Ishma, as she still held her hand that was releasing sparks in the air.

“The next one will hit the audience. It’s your call.”

The crowd immediately broke out in cold sweat when they heard that.

They originally came to watch a match and now they’re being held hostage.

What kind of shit is this?!

Jun was immediately put into a dilemma.

He wasn’t an idiot, he knew exactly who Miko wished to fight. However there was a problem with granting his wish.

Sami is Luna’s protégé, if jun was to allow Miko to fight Sami and he died that would create an irreparable rift between him and Luna. However, if he didn’t Ishma would definitely kill the audience.

Jun silently looked at Miko.

His face was filled with indifference like everything happening had nothing to do with him.

However Jin could sense something terrifying coming from him. The longer he stared the more terrified he felt.

He could’ve sworn that he could see thousands of skeletons blooming behind Miko like flowers under the sun. This sight made him, one of the rulers of this city, frightened to the core.

Jun immediately started regretting inviting this monster to his city. It was like he had invited destruction on himself.

“Jun mizune.”

Miko suddenly called his name without looking at him.

“Yes.”

Miko didn’t continue immediately. It was only after a couple seconds well that he spoke.

“Life or death?”

“?!”

Miko didn’t ask him what his choice would be like he thought he would.

Life or death?

There was only one meaning in that question.

Obey and live. Disobey and die.

It was as simple as that.

The scary thing was that even if jun equipped himself with his most powerful weapons, he could still see himself dying at the hands of this indifferent Miko.

As that thought ran through his head Jun suddenly realized something.

The final persons who will most likely face each other in the end of the tournament is Miko and his son Flow.

Earlier Flow provoked Miko and made him angry. However that anger he showed then obviously pales in comparison to the anger he had now. Because of that if Miko and Flow were to fight, the chances of Flow dying a gruesome death is high.

That’s right. Jun had zero confidence that his son would win against Miko. Even if he was confident before Miko came to the city, that confidence is now gone after witnessing just an ounce of the power Miko had within him.

This made Jun feel a great amount of alarm.

He need appease Miko’s anger before he faced his son, that’s the only way to ensure his son’s survival.

And to do that, he’ll need a scapegoat…..

“Okay! Since Romario had an unexpected accident before his match, we’ll have to assign Gamiko Dragna a new opponent!”

Jun shamelessly said.

He knew that what he’s about to do will damage his reputation as a pillar greatly, but in front of such a great threat towards his family, what was reputation and prestige worth?

“In order to not give the audience who travel far and wide a boring match, let’s give an opponent truly worth of his standards!”

From the beginning things like shame and pride was nonexistent in Jun Mizune.

All that mattered to him was his legacy, his son Flow. Everything else was worth shit in comparison.

“As such his opponent will be one who’s stunned and captivated us all with his prowess and ruthless tactics!”

If anyone was to be sacrificed to ensure his son’s survival then it would definitely be the one who overstepped his boundaries and didn’t know his place.

“The Killer Throne, Sami Diaz!”

“Ohhh!”

The crowd instantly roared and cheered after Jun’s announcement.

It wasn’t that they were happy to see such a match, they were happy because it meant that their lives were gonna be spared.

Sami’s life for their’s; the crowd accepted such an agreement in a heartbeat and instantly pushed out Sami into the lion’s den.

As for the sacrificial lamb Sami, he had a sour expression on his face.

Even though he wasn’t afraid to fight Miko, his calmness was too eerie.

However, when he recalled the fact that Miko’s power seemed to be under strict restrictions, his confidence rose.

He believed that he could take on Miko if he wasn’t able to use the power he showed earlier. He believed that power couldn’t be used at will.

With thoughts like that in his head he took the stage with a smile on his face.

“…….”

When Miko saw Sami took the stage, he silently watched him before jumping down on the field.

“Heh.”

Sami grinned at Miko with a cocky attitude.

“……”

Miko in comparison showed zero reaction to his attitude.

“Now then, both contestants had taken the stage! Without further ado, Begin!”

Jun announced.

Sami immediately rushed towards Miko with his Durendal, he intended to strike Miko before he could react.

That thought was simply naïve.

“Kneel.”

*Bam!*

Sami suddenly halted and kneeled so hard that he broke the tiles under his feet.

“I can’t move!”

Sami shouted.

“You seem to think that this would be a match.”

Miko walked up to in front of him and looked down.

“This isn’t a match. This is a public execution.”

His eyes turned purple as he used Rule once again.

“No matter what kind of torment you endure try your utmost best to stay alive and never even think of suicide.”

After he said that a cold look appeared in his eyes.

“Deus Malum: Pseudo-Opening”

A dark and outerworldly aura appeared around Miko’s hand.

This was the same aura that grabbed Ishma and struck unimaginable fear in her heart.

“Suffer a fate worse than death.”

Miko swiftly grabbed Sami’s face with his aura-clothed hand.

“Aghhhhhhh?!”

The moment Sami came in contact with it he started to scream uncontrollably. He looked like he wanted to break free at all cost.

“Silence, and cease all movement.”

“?!”

Against his will Sami’s body froze and he became silent, but the fear was still present on his face.

The shadow-like aura quickly devoured his face before sinking into his skin as if it was absorbed.

The horrified expression on Sami’s face intensified until the point where it looked like he couldn’t expression any other emotions.

“You will drown in your greatest fears until the day you die. For you a second will feel like a day, a day will feel like a year, a year will feel like a lifetime. Even when your mind is broken and your heart becomes weak you will continue to suffer with no chance of rest.”

Miko turned around and walked away from Sami who was now like a statue depicting fear.

“That is your punishment.”

He then looked at jun.

“Which direction was the 14th District where Luna Isabel manages?”

“40 degrees east, around 134 Km from here.”

Jun immediately answered to please Miko.

“I see. Ishma.”

“Alright!”

Ishma suddenly spurted her Crow wings which had two giant eyes on them.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve used this one!”

Static started emitting from the eyes as two electro orbs slowly emerged.

“Ishmavael’s Original: Genocider!”

*Boom!*

Two gigantic beams of green light shot towards the direction Jun pointed to, and then-

*BOOOOOOM!*

An enormous explosion could be heard coming from the distance.

Immediately after Jun received a message from Gaia.

“Over 80% of the 14th District was destroyed in an instant.”
