*Boom!*
The war was getting more and more heated up. Both sides were lashing out with everything they had without letting up.
Well, there was one person who wasn’t trying at all.
It was Sora.
He laid on the ground covered in blood, motionlessly like a corpse.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
Hina, who was next to him asked.
“Playing dead.”
He answered.
“I see.”
She pulled out her strange saw given to her by Miko.
“Then to make it seem even more realistic, how about I dissect you?”
“It’s a miracle! I’m alive!”
Sora sprung up and said.
Hina sighed when she saw that.
“What’s wrong? You’ve been acting strange lately.”
She asked with a worried tone.
“I’m fine. Look!”
He drew the saber Miko gave him and thrust it forward.
*Boom!*
The thrust blew away countless soldiers.
Hina shook her head.
“How long have we’ve known each other? I know when something’s bothering you.”
“Hahahahaha….Its nothing. I swear.”
‘I can’t say that time for us to choose between our benefactor and our friend is close.’
He thought to himself.
“I’m going to find Ace. I’m sure he’s having a blast somewhere and isn’t being careful.”
Before Hina could react, Sora disappeared from sight.
“….Sora.”
Elsewhere Alec was hovering in the air observing the entire battlefield that stretched for miles.
“Looks like you’re pondering something, Alec.”
That’s when Momo appeared behind him.
“Oh, Momo. Aren't you keeping an eye on Sasha and Tessa?”
Alec asked.
“I left a familiar to monitor them. What? Aren’t you going to fight?”
Alec shook his head.
“I’ve already done everything in the realm of my power.”
“Liar. If that was true, this place would’ve turned into a sea of bloodflames already.”
Momo retorted.
“I don’t just go around using my bloodflame you know. The situation has to be urgent or desperate.”
“Then you’re saying that your power isn’t needed in this fight?”
Alec nodded.
“That’s exactly what I’m saying.”
He looked at the war below him.
“This battle is solely for training purposes. Miko is providing everyone with something to test their new weapons and techniques on. The next wars are the real thing.”
He said.
“Then don’t you need to train your new weapon and technique?”
Alec shook his head.
“There’s no need, because I’ve already mastered them.”
“Seriously?”
Momo was skeptical.
“Yeah.”
“That’s amazing. To do that in a mere month.”
“A month?”
Alec looked at her.
“I mastered them in one week. I didn’t need a month.”
“………..”
Momo was speechless when she heard that. Keep in mind that what Miko gave them weren’t any ordinary. They were supreme weapons and arts. It wouldn’t be hard to believe if someone need years to master them, but Alec said that he had done so in a weak.
That was just crazy.
“….I see that your title of Millennium Genius isn’t for show. You a really monster you know that?”
Alec started laughing.
“It’s nothing like that. It was just that those techniques and weapon Miko gave was just too perfect for me. It was like they were tailored with me in mind. It would be strange if I hadn’t master them so quickly.”
“Tailored for you?”
“Well, you’ll understand later.”
Alec said.
“If you hadn’t chosen so many techniques, you would’ve probably mastered your weapon and techniques as well.”
“Don’t worry about that. While it’s not as fast as you I’ve almost master them.”
Momo said proudly.
“I see.”
He looked down and saw someone ripping through the army with a single attack.
It was his sister Kirika.
She sheathed and then performed a quick draw. Immediately after, countless heads float up in the air. Blood started gushing from the necks of the dead soldiers.
*Boom!*
Aircrafts began attacking her from above with machine guns and missiles. However, she quickly shot out of the dust caused by the explosion and appeared in the air.
She then slashed her sword with an impossible to track speed. The aircrafts and the crew inside were instantly cut into pieces.
She then used the falling debris to reach further in the air, by jumping from one to another. Once she was high enough, she sheathed her sword again; but she didn’t pull it again this time. Instead, she placed one hand in front of her and aimed her palm at the ground.
An Alchemic sigil appeared in her palm.
“Transmute.”
The sigil in her palm then spread out and covered the sky. The falling debris then halt midair and started to fuse together and molded into a gigantic sword.
Kirika gripped this sword by its handle.
“…..I think she’s the only here who doesn’t need to use the weapons Miko gave us at all.”
Alec said as he saw his sister did the impossible.
She positioned the giant sword like it was sheathed and the image of a Crimson Dragon appeared behind her.

“Raging Dragon Style: Crimson Dragon Edition.”
Her eyes flickered between Crimson and blue, as a loud dragon roar came from the sword.
The temperature of the area suddenly started to rise. Kirika and gigantic sword suddenly teleported to a different end of the battlefield.
“Crimson Inferno!”
*BOOOM!*
A deafening roar echoed out as a gigantic wall of flames suddenly appeared behind her. The wall of flames turned countless soldiers into ashes as they didn’t even get the time to scream.
When the wall of flames disappeared, there was a huge trail of molten rocks left in its place. The gigantic sword in her hand suddenly crumbled away soon after.
“……How confident are you that you can beat her?”
Momo asked Alec.
“What kind of question is that?”
Alec asked.
He looked at his sister and then said-
“There’s no way in hell, I can beat her.”
Elsewhere.
*Boom!*
Kouta and Aloe General, Rashad were in the middle of an intense battle.
Rashad’s spear and Kouta’s fists continuously clashed causing electric sparks to fly about.
The two separated and rushed towards each other again. Lightning gathered around Kouta’s fist and turned into a lion as he thrust it forward.
*Boom!*
Rashad blocked it with his spear but was blown back a few meters. Kouta chased after him with his entire body like a lightning bolt.
Rashad poured his power into his spear and thrust towards him. The spear pierced through Kouta’s shoulder, or that what should’ve happened. What the spear had pierce was an afterimage.
The real Kouta appeared behind Rashad.
He slammed his fists together and separated them, with static connecting them. The static grew and instantly became a gigantic thunderball.
Rashad quickly turned around and attacked, however he was hit with thunderball which attaches itself to Kouta’s fist, before he could.
*Boom!*
The ball forced him away, lifting him up in the air. Kouta clenched his hand with a savage grin.
*Boom!*
The thunderball exploded and brightened the sky.
“Hm….these Omni-orbs Miko gave us really mixes well with our inborn elements.”
Christian said as he observed how Kouta used his weapon.
He and Kouta were born with a high affinity to wind and lightning respectively. Because of this, they were far more versatile than others who used these elements. The orbs Miko gave them blended with their inborn elements and helped the two of them wield them more efficiently.
Up in the air, Rashad appeared with a few bruises but nothing life threatening.
“What’s going on here? Why isnt he running out of magic?”
He said as he stared at Kouta.
“He’s using a weapon that obviously devours magic like a glutton, and yet he’s able to use big attacks continuously without signs of any drop in his power. That’s not normal.”
The more Rashad stared at Kouta the more he was convinced that Kouta was nowhere near exhausted despite all the big attacks he used. It was as if there were no limit to the magic he can use.
“It’s exactly what you think, old man.”
Kouta interrupted Rashad’s thoughts.
“I have an endless supply of magic power within me. In other words, I can’t exhaust my magic and can fight until I’m dead.”
“Impossible! Everyone has a limit!”
Rashad argued.
“Well, not me.”
Kouta said with a cocky laugh.
“Kouta, stopping revealing information about yourself to the enemy.”
Said Christian.
It was then that Rashad looked at Christian again, which caused their eyes to meet.
“?!”
The moment they locked eyes, Rashad felt his blood run cold.
“W-What the hell? I sensed something immense in that boy just now…..Something terrifyingly vast. As if there was an entire universe trapped in his body.”
He started to question whether Christian was even a mortal or a god trapped in a human body.
“This bad….These two are way too dangerous.”
Even though he still had the advantage and was still stronger than the brothers even if they combine their powers, his instincts told him that the one who would end up dead at the end of the day would be him.
“One has unlimited stamina and power, while the other is limitless.”
After racking his brain a little, he came to a decision.
“I’m outta here.”
He instantly decided to run away. He didn’t intend to fight a fight he would eventually lose. He immediately cut all ties with the kingdom, grabbed his family, and flee as far as he could, never to be seen again.
“The hell? He ran away.”
Kouta immediately became annoyed.
“He has good instincts.”
Christian walked up to him and said.
“Tsk. Now my mood is ruin. I’m going home.”
Kouta immediately turned into a lightning bolt and flew back towards the capital.
Christian looked as he disappeared in the distance.
“I guess I’ll go sleep.”
After saying that, he casually dug a hole, laid in it, and then covered himself up. This was how Nova’s sons left the battle early.
Elsewhere, alshura and Alesia were still fighting their way towards the center of the Aloe army.
Al-Shura was ripping through soldiers like they were paper with an unstoppable advance. While Alesia on the other hand, was more silent. Everywhere she walked people would lose either their heads or heart in an instant.
The soldiers were so scared of her, they instinctively opened a path for her to walk. Of course, they were some who would overcome that fear and attack. This made her unable to reach her target.
“Seems like you two are having some trouble.”
It was then that someone appeared out of nowhere. It was Gizmo.
“What do you want?”
Al-Shura asked.
“Nothing really. You two just seem hellbent on ending this war, so I felt like giving you a hand.”
When he said that he took out a black box.
“Was that what Miko gave you?”
Alshura asked.
Gizmo didn’t respond and simply tapped the box. The box then started to disintegrate and turned into iron dust, swirling around him.
“Go.”
The black dust then scattered into every direction. It first came into contact with a soldier who was trying to attack him from behind.
“Hm?”
When the dust touched the soldier he halted.
“Huh?”
That’s when he heard an eerie buzzing sound. When he checked his body, he saw it.
Starting with his fingers, his hand was starting to disappear.
“Haaaaaah?!”
When he saw that he let out a deafening scream.
Before long, everyone could see his body disappearing before their eyes. No, it wasn’t disappearing. It was being devoured, by the black sand.
“Help! Help me!”
He screamed and struggled but there was nothing anyone could do. Another couple seconds later, he complete disappeared, leaving his weapon and armor behind.
“?!”
When everyone saw that, a chill ran down their spines.
“Run away!”
The soldiers started to desperately run away, but it was too late. The black sand easily caught up to them and they suffered the same fate as the previous soldier.
“Gizmo. What the hell was that?”
Al-Shura asked after seeing the power of Gizmo’s blackbox.
“It’s a modified version of the Blackbox Miko gave to me. I call it Black Pariah.”
“Black Pariah? Wait, you modified one of those ancient artifacts? How?”
Al-Shura asked.
“Is that really important? Didn’t you want to reach the commander of this army first?”
“You’re right.”
Al-Shura turned his back to Gizmo. He failed to see the satisfied smile on his face.
“Alesia, are you ready?”
Alesia nodded her head.
“Alright, let’s do this!”
Alshura lifted his spear over his head.
“Argh!”
With a grunt, his arm doubled in size and turned into that of a dragon’s.
Alesia quickly jumped and stood on the tip. Alshura pulled his arm back and planted his feet on the ground.
“Go get him!”
He then took a powerful step forward and threw the spear with all of his might.
*Boom!*
The spear shot through the air with a remarkable force, ripping apart everything that was in its way without mercy. Despite the force it gave off and the speed it was going, Alesia stood with her arms crossed at the tip without a slight hint of disturbance on her face.
“General Rico!”
Rico was sitting on his mount when he heard his female assistant shout. When he looked to his side, he saw a light heading towards him.
“Target locked.”
Alesia muttered and summoned her spear in her hand.
It all happened in an instant. Rico saw the light heading towards him, by the time he was able to react, he was already face to face with Alesia. He saw something flash, and the next thing he knew his vision was blurred as if he was moving at a blinding speed.
When he looked around he realized that it was just him and Alesia. He noticed that she was holding something in her hand, it was him. Her hand was holding were his neck was suppose to be.
It was then it dawned on him.
‘I’m dead.’
That was his last thought before his brain completely shut off for good.
Alesia stomped on the spear tip and caused she and the spear to flick in the air. She twisted her body and safely landed on her feet, holding both spears in one hand, and Rico’s head in the next.
“Mission complete.”
Alesia said as she looked at Rico’s head.
“The General’s dead!”
“Kill the murderer!”
The soldiers roared and attacked Alesia.
She casually threw up the head and held both spears in her hands. She rushed forward and thrust the spears in quick successions. Soon the heads and hearts of countless soldiers were pierced and destroyed in an instant.
“Die!”
She was sneaked attacked from underground, she immediately jumped and thrusts the spears down filling her ambushers with holes.
She landed on her feet and leaped back to catch Rico’s head.
“Oh, so badass!”
It was then that Miko appeared behind her clapping his hands.
“Miko.”
Alesia immediately handed the head to Miko with a bow, showing complete servitude.
“Oh? So this is the Commander?”
Miko said while taking the head from Alesia.
“Good work, Alesia. I wasn’t wrong to make you and alshura join me.”
He patted her head and said. Alesia didn’t complain despite being treated like a child.
“Now then….”
Miko held the head, walked forward and lift it in the air.
“Your commander is dead! So this war is over! Return to where you came from before you all end up like him!”
The soldiers all looked at each other, before they started to retreat quite desperately.
“Is that okay? Letting the enemy go?”
Alec appeared behind Miko and asked.
“Who said anything about letting them go? I simply told them to leave before they end up dead. Whether they survive is up to how fast they can escape.”
Miko said, and took out a communicator.
“Ahem. Hello, Dragna army.”
He smiled.
“Sorry for making you wait. It’s time to clean house.”
Several miles away, the Dragna army that was stationed away from the battle suddenly grew excited.
“The king has spoken! All troops move out!”
The sounds of vehicles starting up echoed across the area. When the soldiers looked in the distance, they saw a building size tank heading towards them.
On the top of this tank, was Edward who was wrapped in his armor given to him by Miko. Behind the tank were countless armored vehicles and aircrafts in the sky. There were even a lot of MYTH equipment from Grim City like tridents, nemean armored vehicles, and chariots along with countless androids.
The Aloe army was scared shitless by the show of military strength.
“Fire!”
Edward drew a sword and ordered.
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
The Dragna army began opening fire on the defenseless Aloe army.
“Guaah?!”
“H-Help!”
“Spare us!”
“Gods in the heavens save us!”
Countless screams came from the soldiers, but the Dragna army showed no mercy.
“Keep firing! Don’t stop until theyre dead! Make them regret opposing our king in hell!”
Edward ordered.
The soldiers showed no mercy as they shot, stabbed, cut, slashed, bombed, torched, and simply massacred their enemies.
Their merciless assault continued for over a hour until every Aloe soldier was turned into a corpse.
The stench of death covered the land.
“I see. You used this battle to toughen your soldiers as well.”
Said Alec.
“It takes a wicked heart to destroy an enemy who’s pleading for mercy. I basically forced them to develop such a heart today. From now on, even if they were saints before, they’re nothing but cold hearted murderers now.”
Miko replied.
“Besides that, I’ve also shown them the reality of war and how cruel it can be.”
“What if they can’t handle that reality?”
“Doesn’t matter, they know that they can no longer go back. If they don’t want to end up like their victims today, they’ll have to continue to walk this cruel path of war.”
“…..You’re a really cruel person, you know that?”
Miko turned his back to him.
“Stop stating the obvious.”
He then walked towards the middle of his group.
“Everyone, get some rest! Because we attack the Aloe Kingdom at dawn!”
