Coronation

It was one week after the bloody Throne Wars. Currently the Dragna Kingdom was once again bustling with excitement.

Today was the day Miko officially becomes king!

Everywhere across the kingdom people were busy completing some kind of preparation or excitedly recalling the grand events that led to Miko becoming king.

At the kingdom’s borders, there were droves of people entering the kingdom for the first time in a decade.

There were lots of aristocrats from the neighboring countries, famous merchants, famous warriors, and even sovereigns.

The caused for these people to arrive here were the same.

Miko's Coronation!

Miko himself wasn't world renowned, however his background made the world tremble.

He was the grandson of the world’s first [Tyrant] and first female [Tyrant], Kimiko and Nero.

His uncles were all renowned monsters in the own right as well.

First there was Chaos Emperor Nova. He alone could sink cities and erase countries.

However, there were also Devil’s Joker Rihan, Vanishing Dragon Gamion, and Record of Origin Gian.

Each and everyone of these persons are known for their strength.

Especially Rihan who was considered the evil incarnate by many.

So knowing all this, not showing up at Miko's coronation was far too risky than showing up.

Naturally Miko didn't care in the least about who came to his coronation.

In fact, he didn't even want to go.

“Can't you just give me crown and be over with it? Did you have to make such a big deal out of it?”

Miko complained.

“Do you know who I am? Of course I have to make a big deal out of it. It would go against my morals if I didn't.”

Said Nero.

“Okay. What if I let a double go instead of me?”

“No can do. It would be disrespectful to the founders of this kingdom.”

Miko looked at Tiamat, who was sitting not too far away from him.

“Do you mind?”

“Nope.”

She answered.

“See? The guardian goddess of the kingdom doesn't mind. So I won't be disrespecting anyone.”

“Too bad. I already ordered the liquor.”

“How much?”

Tiamat asked.

“Let's just say that if you were to flip the palace and use it as a cup, liquor would still overflow.”

“Miko, we're going!”

Tiamat suddenly shouted.

And that was how he ended up going.

Currently Miko was surrounded by servants that were dressing him for his ceremony.

“You know, I don't mind being attended to by women as beautiful as yourselves, but I kind of prefer to dress myself.”

He said to women.

They were dressing him in luxurious azure robes with gold highlights.

They also tied his long hair with a dragon hair clip.

Being pampered made Miko feel weird. He wasn't used to this kind of treatment, even though he had servants when he was in the Primus World.

Miko's policy was that if he can do it himself then he'll do it. He didn't like the idea of being dressed or groomed by others.

Even though, he was naturally a lazy person.

“Now that I've think about it, I haven't been that lazy in years.”

He suddenly mumbled to himself.

“Ok. After setting everything into motion, I'll return back to my lazy ways.”

Miko solemnly swore to himself.

He has yet to realize that he had long broken out of his lazy nature.

Around this time there was a knock on the door.

The door opened shortly after, and Sasha came in.

She was wearing a very beautiful purple ballroom dress with floral designs.

The dress significantly increased her beauty by a hundred folds. Her natural elegance proved that she was definitely of divine blood.

“Miko, are you ready?”

“Yeah. More or less.”

Saying so, Miko dismissed the servants and walked over to Sasha.

“Look beautiful, Mother.”

“Thank you. You too.”

‘Wouldn't you normal say ‘you look handsome’ in this situation.’

Miko sighed, because he had yet to come to terms with feminine appearance.

‘Well, Nero and Nova were able to live with it for thousands of years. So why can't I?’

He tried to stay optimistic.

“Okay, lets go.”

The two left the dressing room and entered the hall.

In the hall they saw everyone who fought with him in the Throne Wars, elegantly dressed up, completely different from their normal appearances.

Hina wore and beautiful pink spaghetti-strap dress, while Luka wore a strapless cyan dress.

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

Ace wore a white tuxedo with black gloves and pants, while Sora wore a navy blue vest suit with a stylish top hat to match.

As for Leon, he wore a white suit with a crimson undershirt, and a gold tie.

“Now then, shall we go?”

Miko said with a smile, and they all moved towards the throne room together.

After walking and talking for a while they arrived at the door leading to the room.

There stood two figures.

They were both tall and had azure and gold hair.

One of them was Gallu, who was also elegantly dressed in an azure gown.

The other one was an extremely handsome man.

He was slim, had gold serpentine eyes, and was dress in a black suit with an azure undershirt and tie.

This was the Guardian Beast of the Secundus Branch, Bašmu.

“We've been waiting for you, brother. Everyone is already inside.”

He said with a dignified tone.

Bašmu, for some reason, addresses Miko as “Brother”.

His reason for this was because Miko was his mother's proxy. Since a proxy was considered a Higher Being’s child, he argues that Miko shares the same standing as Tiamat's children, hence Miko was technically like his sibling.

Miko had given up on changing his mind, so he just nodded at what Bašmu said.

The two Guardian beasts opened the door and gestured Miko to enter.

When he entered he saw a queue of people on each side of the path that led to the throne.

On the left side were Marcel, Karim, Alisa, and all the other members of the Secundus Branch.

On the right were Nova, Kimiko, Raven, Momo, Ravel, and all the other members of Primus branch.

There were also a lot of people on the balconies overlooking the Throne room.

Among them were members of the Saevio clan and Flameheart clan.

There were also a lot of high class nobles here as well.

These nobles weren't anywhere near the Triad but they still held a lot of influence. So it was obvious they would be here.

There were also some VIP visitors in attendance.

However, Miko could care less about these people.

He looked towards the throne and saw Nero and Rouge at the foot, as the representatives of their branches.

Sasha and the others left from behind Miko and head over to the right side with the Primus members.

Miko stared at the throne for awhile, before he started walking towards it.

With every step he took he reminence on everything that he's experienced since being reincarnated.

He remember the first time he opened his eyes and saw his parents faces.

He remembered the robbers who broke into their house when he was 2.

He remembered the day his siblings were born.

He remembered going to the capital for the first time.

He remembered his fight with Leon, and his first meeting with Tiamat.

He remembered leaving home and meeting Hina.

He remembered fighting Darius.

He remembered……

By the time he reached the throne, he had already recalled his 13 years of life in this world.

“It was a long 13 years.”

He mumbled to himself.

He stood in front of Nero, who gestured him to take a seat.

To take his seat as king.

Miko nodded and swept a glance towards Rouge, who also gestured the same.

Rouge now knew why Nero aggressively tried to place Miko on the throne.

It was because in the whole world, there were none who deserved it more.

He was Tiamat's proxy. This kingdom had long belonged to him.

And he's just about to claim it.

Miko slowly walked up the steps leading to the throne.

When he arrived, he looked down on the seat and saw a magnificent crown sitting there.

Miko took up the crown and placed it on his head.

He then turned around and looked towards the people in the hall.

There were numerous emotions in their eyes.

Love, hate, admiration, envy, respect, disdain.

All of these emotions were directed at Miko, and he boldly took them all.

He was king. Nothing can change that fact.

But even this was just a stepping stone.

If he flutters here then he's better off killing himself, because that would mean he had already reached his limit.

However, that was not the case!

Miko had no limit. He will continue to grow until the day he ready claim the world!

Thinking this, Miko sat down on the throne, crossed his legs, and rest his head on his fist.

“My name is Gamiko Dragna the Third, and I declare here in front all those present that, I AM KING!”

I am king.

Those words carried such an oppressive feeling, that it was hard to imagine it was spoken by a boy who just entered adolescence.

Even though there were many here who were stronger than him, none could deny that this boy was a terrifying existence.

A king was born! But what kind of king? Only the future could tell.

“Alright. Now that's over. It's time to greet the people.”

Miko said with a lighthearted tone, and stood up from the throne.

He took off his crown and twirled it with his finger in a playful manner.

It was hard to think he was giving off such an oppressive aura not too long ago.

“Gallu, please take me to the place we prearranged.”

“Yes.”

Gallu appeared next to Miko and the two quickly disappeared.

This confused a lot of people.

Just what was the new king going to do?

Miko appeared with Gallu on a platform several thousands feet in the sky.

Soon after Bašmu also appeared on the platform.

“Begin.”

The moment Miko said that, the two guardians started glowing. Soon a pillar of golden light shot up to the sky and illuminate it.

This drew the attention of everyone in the country.

They looked up in the sky and saw Miko's image being transmitted to them.

“People of Dragna. I am your king, Gamiko.”

His voice echoed loud and clear throughout the country.

“I am sure that a lot of you don't expect much from me, or the kingdom. And I don’t blame you. For generations you have suffered hardship after hardship, before long hardship became a way of life for you.”

His words immediately drew the attention of a lot of people

“As your new king, I won't promise you that you all will become rich, but I promise you that I will do my utmost best to make this fucked up reality much more bearable!”

A look of skeptic appeared on the face of a lot of people.

As if sensing that Miko continued.

“I know a lot of you think this is just empty words, but I assure they are not! I made a promise that I would change this kingdom for the better. To who you ask?”

It was at this moment a bolt of lightning fell and hit the platform.

The moment it hit it, an oppressive aura swept over the entire kingdom, which made a lot of people almost fall to their knees.

Even in the palace, this was the case.

Several powerhouses who could flip the world with their hands, were suddenly pressed on the ground. Fighting to not fall to there knees.

Around this time a pair a golden eyes appeared in the sky.

These eyes could been from anywhere in the kingdom.

They held so much power and majesty, that everyone knew that these weren't the eyes of a mortal.

Suddenly a golden light shone behind Miko, and Tiamat appeared on the platform.

Miko had told her to go back to the Summit Of Gods and wait for this moment to reappear in style.

Tiamat walked up beside Miko.

Everyone could see the striking resemblance between the two.

Miko pointed at her.

“This is the one who asked me to save her people. Behold and marvel in the bask of Tiamat, the guardian goddess of this country!”

“?!”

The moment Miko said that, shock swept across the country like a tidal wave.

Tiamat?!

To the people of the Dragna kingdom, she was their idol of worship. The supreme being in there hearts.

None expected to see such a being in their lifetime.

“Tiamat?!”

The citizens weren't the only shocked by Tiamat's appearance.

Everyone outside of the Primus branch and Rouge were shocked speechless.

Even though Tiamat appeared in the palace couple days ago, only a few knew of this.

Rouge knew because he witnessed her arrival, but he didn't get to talk to her until the day before.

This was because Tiamat immediately locked herself away in a room with Miko, and didn't come out until he came to.

Rouge naturally didn't tell a soul about Miko being Tiamat's proxy. Not even his wife and children knew. So they were as equally as shocked.

“I am Tiamat's proxy! The one she chosen to lead her people to better days!”

Miko's words once again shocked the people.

Tiamat's proxy!

The king was a proxy!

This made the people realized something.

Miko became king without using his proxy abilities. This meant he never fought with all his heart, and still became king.

What a terrifying kid!

They feared him, they admired him, they adored him!

“My people.”

Suddenly Tiamat spoke.

Her beautiful voice charmed the hearts of the masses.

“I've seen you suffer for far too long. This is why I've brought you Miko to elevate you to new heights.”

She said with a sad expression.

“I beg you. Work with Miko. Believe in him, and help him create an empire for you all to live in!”

Tiamat pleas resonated in their hearts.

No matter what, she was still their idol of worship.

Her words were heavenly laws.

“Hail Tiamat! Hail the king!”

The people immediately started kowtowing while shouting praises.

This was the same in the royal palace.

Almost every member of the Dragna clan whether from the Primus branch or the Secundus Branch, bowed down and showed servitude to their matriarch progenitor, Tiamat.

Throughout the kingdom praises for Tiamat and Miko could be heard wide and clear.

Tiamat was their god, and Miko was seen as her representative.

He had now firmly grasp the hearts of the people, in a way only he can.

Miko used religion, something he hated, to his advantage and became a true king in seconds.

Those who realized this felt a chill run down their spines.

This child was too much.

Too dangerous! He was too dangerous!

They felt like they were witnessing the beginning of an era.

An era of blood and destruction.

The one who would lead this era was this terrifying 13 year old boy.

They couldn't even begin to imagine what kind of future he had.

Seeing the country effortlessly submit to him, Miko couldn't help but smile.

He had truly taken the first step to creating an empire!
