Jun Mizune

Miko later separated from Jin who insisted on sleeping for another 12 hours before moving.

The next couple days later Miko returned to the academy.

Just like before all of his motivation disappeared the moment he stepped through the gate.

When he walked into his classroom he was bombarded by the stares of his classmates.

They looked at him with fear and admiration.

This meant nothing to Miko so he ignored it. But Ishma ate it all up.

“It feels good to be top dog!”

She laughed and took a seat.

These stares helped to get her out of the foul mood she's been in since Jin was able to block her attack.

To her who was used to being all-powerful and easily crushing every opponent she came across, being stopped by Jin was one of her biggest disgraces.

Of course her biggest shame is being seal inside a sword for thousands of years, and becoming a woman.

They took a seat, and Miko immediately fell asleep.

The only reason Miko came to the academy today was to find out something.

“Morning class.”

At this moment the teacher walked in and greeted the class.

The class greeted him in return. All except Miko who was asleep, and Ishma who just didn't care.

Regis was surprisingly studious.

The teacher frowned when he saw Miko sleeping.

“Gamiko.”

The teacher spoke with a dissatisfied tone.

“……..”

However he no response in return.

“Gamiko Dragna the Third!”

“Shut up already!”

Ishma shouted.

“The one who needs to shout up is you.”

Miko woke up and hit Ishma.

He rubbed his ears and looked at the teacher.

“What is it?”

He spoke with an irritated tone.

“Why are you sleeping in my class?”

“Why are you disturbing my sleep?”

Miko asked back.

“What? I'm your teacher!”

The teacher was fuming.

“Teacher? What qualification do you have to teach me, even if it was how to spell my name?”

Miko said with a monotone voice.

He was very defensive when it came to those who could call themselves his teacher.

Momo could call herself his teacher.

Kimiko could call herself his teacher.

Even Nero and Nova could call themselves his teacher.

But no one else.

“You can't just call yourself  my teacher, when you don't have the same qualifications as my other teachers. That would be disrespecting not only me but them.”

Miko then glared at him.

“Are you looking down on my family? Or are you mocking them?”

His body started to leak a dangerous aura that made it feel like temperature had dropped.

The teacher immediately knew that Miko was serious, and wasn't just fooling around to get out of trouble.

Miko didn't see him as someone worthy to teach him anything.

The teacher was at lost as what to do.

If he pushed too hard, there was a possibility that Miko would deem him as an enemy. If that happened the teacher could face the full blown wrath of the Dragna clan.

The thought made the teacher shiver in fright.

“Good morning!”

Just as the teacher was in difficult position, someone walked in the room with a cheerful tone.

It was Bloom.

“Oh!”

The angry Miko suddenly became cheerful and rose from his seat.

He immediately popped up in front of her and wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him.

“My wife, I've been waiting for you.”

Bloom shook him off and smiled at him.

“I don't remember becoming your wife.”

“Your memory hasn't been the best lately so that's alright.”

Miko said while fully of smiles.

Bloom was in a good mood so she didn't retort him.

She looked at the teacher.

“Sorry for disturbing your class, but may I borrow Miko for awhile?”

She said with a smile.

“B-By all means, take him.”

Since he had the opportunity to get rid of Miko, the teacher gladly told bloom to take him.

Miko didn't want to be here either, so he left. Naturally, Ishma and Regis followed behind.

Once they left the classroom building, Bloom led them to one of the academy's gardens where she sat with a happy smile.

“You're in a happy mood. Were you so eager to see me?”

Miko spoke with a teasing tone.

“Dream on.”

Bloom rolled her eyes.

“Jin contacted me last night.”

Miko's smile immediately dropped from his face.

Bloom saw that and became confused.

Miko suddenly grabbed her arm and drew her close to him.

“You mean to tell me that that's the reason you're happy? You call me all the way out here to talk about another man? I thought I told you I was a jealous man.”

He then drew his face closer to her’s.

“Stop that.”

But his face was blocked by Bloom’s hand.

Instead of getting angry or annoyed, Miko was amused.

“Oh? So that's how it is.”

Miko released her and stepped back indicating that he's giving her space.

Bloom didn't expect him to back off that easily so she was caught off guard.

Miko only smiled at her and didn't say a word. However, Bloom noticed that his smile was a bit weird.

“Well, what did Jin say?”

“A-Ah. He said that he met with you last night and had an interesting convo.”

“We did. Jin is an interesting guy. In fact, we're pretty similar.”

He answered while smiling.

Bloom wasn't able to see what was behind that smile, and it frustrated her.

“Was that all?”

He asked as if he was in a hurry to leave.

This caused her to frown.

‘What's up with him? He was just being clingy with me and now he can't wait to get away from me.’

She thought to herself.

“No, I also wanted to give you an update on the Ranking tournament.”

“Oh! Did they move up time?!"

Miko spoke with an excited tone which made Bloom even more annoyed. She felt like he was more interested in the tournament than being with her.

Bloom decides not to show her annoyance since she was the one who continuously rejected his approach.

“No, the tournament didn't change dates. It will still be two months away. The reason they gave was because students already started preparing with the two months timeframe in mind, so if they went and changed it it would cause a lot inconvenience for them.”

“….Is that so?”

Miko then immediately turned around and started to walk away.

“Wait. Where are you going?”

“Home to sleep. I'll be back in two months time for the tournament.”

He said without looking back.

“Besides the tournament there's nothing else worthy for me to waste my time here.”

“Wait!”

Before she could stop him, Miko already disappeared.”

“Damn it!”

Bloom stomped the ground in frustration.

“Nothing worthy here? Then what about me?!”

She was fuming about Miko's eagerness to leave. This was like a great blow to her pride since she wasn't enough to make Miko stay.

“Damn brat!”

After he parted from Bloom, Miko did as he said and left the school.

He made Regis and Ishma take their accessory forms and went straight to his apartment.

“Hm?”

Miko stopped outside of his building and stared at it.

“………..”

He stayed like that for a while before entering the building.

He silently headed to his room and opened the door.

“Yo.”

There he saw someone sitting in his sofa with his back turned to the door. The only thing Miko could see was the person’s Silver ponytail.

“Yo.”

He casually answered back and closed the door behind him.

“I got hungry while waiting so I helped myself to some food that was in the fridge. I hope you don't mind.”

Miko looked and saw several empty plates and cans of grape soda on the table near the sofa.

His eyes twitches with anger.

“I do mind. You ate my food and drank all my soda!”

Miko's voice was brimming with killing intent.

The matter of breaking into the apartment was no big deal to Miko. The apartment wasn't his, and he was planning on moving soon since it seems like everyone knows where he lives. The real issue was his food.

“My sweets!”

Ishma transformed from her glove form with an angry expression.

Regis also transformed and glared at the person sitting on the sofa.

“Is it alright to harass your students, Jun Mizune?”

Miko said with a grumble.

Hearing that the person stood up and turned towards Miko.

He was a very handsome person who looked like he had a cool temperament. He was around 6’2, slim built, fair skinned with green eyes.

This was one of the Four Pillars that controls the city and headmaster of Grim Academy, Jun Mizune.

“I'm surprise you knew who I was.”

Said Jun.

“Well, your picture was all over the academy. Never mind that, give me back my soda or this means war!”

“Give me back my sweets too!”

Miko and Ishma roared.

Regis shook her head at the sight of the two of them raging over food.

“Hahahaha! You're as hotheaded as I heard.”

Jun said with a laugh.

“On the contrary, I'm an extremely calm person. But since food is life, eating my food is trampling on my life.”

Miko threw his fists up.

“Enough talk. Square up!”

He was serious and had no smile on his face. He was ready to enter a fist fight with Jun over a few cans of soda.

Jun found it hard to believe that he was technically a king who effortless spent millions of gold.

But to Miko it's wasn't about the cost of the soda but the principle.

“I'd rather not. Fighting a student is against my morals. Besides should you really be picking fights right now, considering all of the enemies you've made recently?”

“Enemies? Fuck them! I'll deal with them when it's time. Right now we're talking about my sodas you drank!”

He clenched his fists.

“Square Up!”

Jun was flabbergasted.

He didn't expect Miko to be this oblivious towards his situation.

‘Or does he simply not care?’

Jun thought to himself.

“How about this? I’ll buy you a truck load of grape soda and sweets and call it even.”

“Fine.”

Miko immediately dropped his fists, which made Jun a bit surprised.

‘I can't fantom this kid…..”

He thought with a wry smile.

Ishma also calmed down and silently stood down.

“So, why are you in my apartment?”

Miko asked.

“I came to see the famous Heavenly Demon King in person. Especially when he's rampaging through my city and academy as he pleases.”

“Well, now that you see him how's his brilliance in person?”

Miko casually asked.

“Honestly, not bad. But I prefer if he would be more humble and think before he acts.”

“Being humble doesn't necessarily comes with less problems. Especially when the world is filled with so many ignorant fools who don't know their place in life.”

“Such arrogant words. It's hard to believe it's coming from a kid.”

“I just spoke the truth. Everything that happened since I came here happened because people overestimated themselves. I originally planned to lay low, but some idiots had to be idiots and fucked around.”

Miko then looked like he came to a sudden decision.

“To be honest, I no longer feel like laying low.”

“….Meaning?”

Miko shrugged and said-

“I'm just going to start  seriously fucking you all up. Whether it's the pillars or the syndicate I'll seriously and throughly destroy you all with everything I got if you cross my path again.”

“You're threatening a pillar in front of his face? Are you saying that you're willing to go to war with the entire city?”

“I've always been willing, it's just that I wanted to take a different approach than my usual bloody one, but it doesn't seem you people will let me.”

“Let me say this from now, Miko. I have no intention of becoming your enemy. However, that doesn't mean the other pillars don't.”

“If you're talking about Sebas then don't worry. I'll destroy him if he messes around with me. I assure you that.”

Miko's eyes shone with killing intent.

It was obvious that he was serious about going to war with everyone.

Miko was very annoyed with a lot of people in city, but he held it in because of his goal to conquer the city in a way he'll been seen in a good light. However, Miko changed his mind.

He's decided to operate like how he always had before, and eliminate everything in his way without a care about his image and reputation.

One of the main reasons for this was that Miko couldn't afford to suffer too much stress otherwise Deus Malum would go out of control. Constantly holding himself back was causing his stress to accumulate, which wasn't good.

The best way to release stress was to be true to his desires, and that's what he's going to start doing again.

“…….”

Jun could sense that Miko was serious about going to war with the city. He honestly didn't know what to say.

He only sighed in the end.

“Do as you please. I won't try to stop you or try to cover up your actions. You'll be on your own.”

“Just how I like it.”

“Then I'll be on my way.”

Jun gave Miko one last look and left the apartment.

Seeing jun was gone Miko smiled quite savagely and said-

“I guess it's time to cut loose!”
