“…….W-What….What the hell is that?”
Said Momo, who was watching the fight from the Primus World.
She was looking at Typhon, who had transformed into his true appearance.
The monster…..No, the thing that she saw projected in front of her was so huge that it looked like it’s heads brushed against the stars. Yes, heads. This monster hand 100 dragon heads on it’s shoulder that seem to stretch across the east and west like a country.
It had a muscular build with each muscle overflowing with dreadful power and presence. From the waist down it had two mountain size serpents as legs. From its back it had a pair of wings that looked like it could blow away countries with a single flap. Its hair was like the flames of hell, wild and impossible to control.
This being was too huge to be called a giant or a Titan. It was too terrifying to be called a monster. It had too much presence to say it had impact. There was no word that could accurately describe this being. However, if one had to pick the word closest, then it could only be one.
Abomination.
“T-That is Typhon?”
People from all over the world were in a daze upon seeing this being. They didn’t know if what they felt towards it was fear or reverence. All they knew was that the being in front of them shattered their imaginations and caused all to realize that they were nothing but mere ants in the long scheme of things.
“H-Hey…..Is there even a way to beat that thing?”
Ace asked after a long time.
No one answered him, that wasn’t because they ignored him it was that they were too busy trying to imagine what it would take to defeat the abomination before their eyes.
“………”
Even after a long time, no one could see it being defeated. All they saw was this monster destroying everything that stood in its path.
Even those who directly faced it had a hard time imagining themselves winning against it. No matter how many battles they’ve survived, or how many acts of cruelty they’ve either witnessed or committed they couldn’t stop themselves from trembling even a little.
“A true monster.”
The only one who was seemingly fine was Miko.
“Ah, I forgot. That title already belongs to Devoro.”
He spoke with a carefree tone.
He turned and noticed that everyone else was tense, however he couldn’t blame them. He was the odd one. Even gods tremble in front of Typhon. He was different because he came in contact and even nurture the evilest aura in existence.
The aura of Satan.
“Lets go.”
Typhon spoke and caused the entire continent to tremble because of his voice.
He lifted his gigantic foot and cast a shadow which stretched form dozens of miles, and stomp down.
“Move!”
The red celestial aura surrounding Miko formed arms which he used to fling everyone countless miles away.
*BOOOM!*
Typhon’s step caused the earth to shake as if it was hit by an island sinking earthquake.
“Miko!”
Everyone snapped out of their daze of realizing what had happened. They looked towards where Typhon stomped his foot. There they saw Miko holding up the foot with both arms while his body trembled. His muscles tighten so much that his skin started to burst and sprayed blood, before being instantly repaired again.
“I don’t know if you expected me to run in fear of you or anything.”
Miko spoke with a strained voice.
“But I have news for you….I run from no one!”
*BOOOM!*
His body released an explosive power as the spiritual aura around him grew more intense than it has ever been before.
He pushed Typhon’s snake foot off him with a roar, and made him stumble back a few steps.
Miko then shot up in the air until he reached Typhon’s torso.
*BOOOM!*
He punched the torso with so much force that it looked like it could sink a country if it had been on the receiving end.
Typhon flew back by what would seem like a meter or two for him but dozens of miles for others.
“Hahaha! This how it should be, boy!”
Typhon laughed joyfully at Miko fearlessly attacking him. He thrust down his mountain size fist towards Miko.
“Bring it!”
Miko roared and met the fist head on.
*BOOOM!*
It was as if two hurricanes had collided when the shockwave from their fists spread out.
Miko was forced out of the sky because the force behind Typhon’s fist and crashed into the earth like a meteorite.
*BOOOM!*
However, a mountain suddenly shot out of the ground and hit Typhon forcing him off his feet. This mountain was created by Miko who had used the continent’s power to do it.
Typhon easily broke his mountain with his fist, but at that time a dot shot out of them dust cloud and headed straight at him. It was of course Miko.
Flames gathered in his mouth, and then quickly turned into a fire storm in front of him.
“Heaven-Piercing Roar!”
A gigantic pillar of flames rushed towards Typhon like a spear thrown by a sun god.
“Such a weak flame can’t do anything against me!”
Typhon swung his hand and immediately extinguished the flame pillar as if it was a mere flicker.
“Hm?”
That’s when he noticed something running across his hand which was used to extinguish the flames. It was Joesph.
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
“Oh? I thought that you would be out for a while. You’re tougher than you look.”
Typhon casually swat down his hand as if he was going to crush a bug.
“Be careful. Some bugs are poisonous.”
Joesph said with a smiled as the ancient marks representing the Flameheart clan reappeared all over his body.
He jumped and shot through the air like an arrow, flying through the gaps between Typhon fingers and making it to his chest.
Joesph clenched his fist and powered all of his strength in his arm.
“Heartbreak Fist!”
*BOOOM!*
His fist slammed on to Typhon muscles which were as hard as the hardest diamonds, and caused it to cave-in.
“Ugh?!”
Typhon was shocked by the amount of damage Joesph fist caused him, even in this state.
He was forced to step back and wave his hand near his chest. Joesph jumped back by this time.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself!”
That’s when Typhon’s fist that moved slow earlier suddenly hit him as fast as a lightning bolt.
*BOOOM!*
The fist that was thousand of times bigger than him caused him to be blown away with his body broken. He was sent outside of the continent where his body bounced off the ocean water countless times for countless miles before hitting an invisible wall.
This wall indicated that the continent was no longer in the mortal world and had been cut off and brought to a different space.
Joesph’s body began sinking before he regained his senses and flew out the sea and raced back towards the continent. When he arrived back he saw Typhon in a fist fight with Miko.
Miko compensate for his limited reach by create two gigantic arms from his aura.
*BOOOM!*
Every time their fists clashed it was like the entire space shook and distort. However, from one look one could see that Miko was clearly at the disadvantage. Even so, he didn’t back down and fought with all of his strength.
Joesph arrived in front the group of Echo, Andreas, Alexus, Rouge, and Maria. He looked at their eyes that lacked focus and realized that they had been overwhelmed by Typhon’s presence and aura.
“Tsk.”
He clicked his tongue and then slap them all across the face a few times.
“Huh?”
They snapped out of their gaze when he did that.
“What kind of pathetic display is this?”
Joesph glared at them and said.
“Weren’t you the ones who declared to fight the whole world? Then why are you quivering in front of a single monster while being protected by the same person you swore to fight for?”
They all looked at Miko who was clashing against Typhon despite being constantly broken to pieces over and over again. They all felt ashamed after being protected by someone with such a small back.
They felt ashamed because this child was carrying all their burdens on his shoulders with a straight back and steady steps.
“Listen, I understand you being overwhelmed. I mean this is the first time you’ve ever been in front of such a monster, however take pride in your blood and don’t bring it shame. Remember that you are the grandchildren of a man who never backed down from a fight no matter how the odds were stacked against him.”
“You tell those idiots.”
At this time, Nero arrived with nova and Darwin. Their hour recovery time was up so they returned to battle.
“To actually hesitate in battle, I can’t believe that we’re related.”
He coldly said.
He immediately took his Deity form and clenched his fists.
“I thought that we all died way back then, but it looks like I was the only phantom willing to fight against everything.”
Nero’s words was like a bolt of lightning to them.
“Who was hesitating? I was just accessing being in front of me.”
Said Rouge.
The other three nodded in agreement.
“Is that so? Then what do you think?”
Nero walked up beside them and asked with a smile.
“Compared to our grandparents, he’s nothing special.”
They all gathered their wits and faced Typhon with a smile.
“If that’s the case, then this should be a piece of cake!”
They all charged toward the colossal Typhon in their strongest forms.
Nero and Echo, intercepted the clash of fist between Miko and Typhon and took on the mountain size fists in Miko’s stead allowing him to catch his breath.
*BOOOM!* *BOOOM!* *BOOOM!*
The two each took a fist on for themselves, and threw punches at lightning fast speed to repel them. This gave Miko the chance to slammed his fists at Typhon’s chest without mercy.
Typhon body jerked continuously as it received the mountain crushing attacks from Miko.
At this time, he suddenly felt his legs being attacked as well.
There Rouge and Andreas were bombarding his legs with attacks that could easily destroy a country. These attacks made his body tilt. That’s when he saw Alexus far away from him creating a gigantic weapon.
It was a spear that looked so large that if it fell to the earth it would crush several countries.
“Take this!”
He threw the spear with all of his strength.
*BOOOM!*
The spear pierced through Typhon and burst out of his back while stuck in him.
“That won’t be enough.”
Joesph said after seeing how the branch leaders and Miko worked together.
“Hahahaha! Now that’s better!”
Typhon laughed and removed the spear from his chest. He then swung his arms and legs and blew away everyone from around him.
“Come on! Entertain me more!”
He shouted while flapping his wings. These wings created typhoons which swept through the continent and destroy countless mountains and countries.
“Damn monster!”
Miko said while fighting against the winds. When the winds past, everyone was blown all over the place.
“Damn….How can we defeat that thing?”
Said Maria.
“Wouldn’t it be better to escape? I don’t think we can win.”
“Unfortunately, there’s nowhere to escape to. The continent was moved to a different dimension with us on it. The only way to leave is for the one who cast the spell to release us, and I’m pretty sure they’re under orders to not do so unless we win.”
Joesph said.
“Then we’re suppose somehow win to leave?”
“I guess so.”
He stood up and replied.
“How can you be so carefree about this? We might all die you know?”
Maria asked.
“My daughter, I once asked my masters that same question when I was younger. Do you what they said?”
He smiled as if remembering the far past.
“Don’t you think it would be fun to look Death straight in the eyes and just spit in its face?”
Maria had a dumbfounded expression when she heard that.
“I had the same expression when I first heard them say that.”
Joesph laughed and said.
He then faced Typhon.
“But I’m starting to think they’re on the something. Spitting in the face of death sure seems like a fun thing to do.”
He turned his head back and smiled at his daughter and Darwin. This was the first time they ever seen him with such a youthful smile. It was like finally facing death after so many years have made him feel alive again.
“I’m not young anymore, but I can’t help but to want break pass my limits here and now.”
“Like I said, stop blaming your age.”
At this time Miko landed beside him.
“It’s never too late to overcome your limits.”
He took a fighting stance.
“I guess you’re right.”
Joesph took a similar stance beside him.
“Keep up, Joey. We’re about to take it a notch.”
“Fine by me!”
The two charged forward at the same time and approached Typhon.
“Come!”
Typhon roared and his 100 heads started breathing fire, aiming at them. It was like the heavens were sending down a divine punishment in flames.
The two charged into the flames, forcing their way through it together. They flew out of the flames and thrust out their palms together. Their two auras melded together and formed a gigantic emerald and white sword which gave off a heavenly glow.
“Interesting!”
Typhon roared in excitement when he saw the blade.
“Dragna Art: Heaven Slayer!”
The two lifted the sword together and slashed it down on Typhon’s gigantic body.
*BOOOM!*
A bright slash past through Typhon and cut his torso in two. Behind him the Southern Region was cut right down the middle, and the ocean was divided into two parts. There was even a long line in the sky as if it had been cut as well.
“Woah!”
Everyone whether they were on the battlefield or watching from a far was shocked beyond their minds.
“So that’s the Dragna Arts, the fighting style created by Augustus himself ?”
Nova said after seeing the attack.
As for Typhon.
“Hahahaha!”
He suddenly started laughing, even though his blood rained down on the earth. When his blood touched the soil countless monsters could be seen forming from the earth. These monsters quickly started devouring the hell residents that were still around.
“You guys really did a number on me.”
He laughed while serpents crawled under his skin and stitch his body together.
“But it’s lacking. Augustus was far stronger than this.”
He looked at Miko and Joesph.
“So you’ll have to try harder.”
Miko didn’t get frustrated or mad, he instead showed a smile.
“If that’s the case, how about shrinking down to human size. Fighting you in that size wastes too much energy. We’ll be able to give you a better fight if you were human sized.”
He said.
“Hahaha! You want me to weaken myself? No way.”
“In what way are you weakened? Even if you reduced your size your weight won’t change, your strength and power will remained the same as well. You can’t trick me, you just like looking down on others that’s why you take that form. If you want a real fight like back then, then take the form that you used back then and we’ll give it to you.”
Miko argued.
Typhon laughed again.
“Fine. It’s just like you said, whether I’m this size or your size my power won’t change. So I’ll play your game.”
After he said that, his body that stretched on for forever compressed into a human size.
“Better?”
*BOOOM!*
It was at this moment that Miko kicked him across his central face, while Joseph punch him in the gut.
“Better. This way I can get a better shot at your ugly mugs.”
Miko said.
“Is that so? I like this size better too.”
One of Typhon’s heads bit Miko’s leg, while a mouth opened up in his stomach and swallowed Joesph arm.
Miko leg and Joesph arm were both bit off immediately after. The two were then hit with punches and was sent flying in the sky or deep underground.
“This way I can properly kick your asses.”
