Raja Knit takes a more casual stance. “How about we skip the bickering and get to why I should become your disciple.”
Akarui Fenikkusu looks at the men beside him with a smirk. Then turns toward Raja Kint. “All three of us are strong in quite a few disciplines. I for instance am strong in concocting pills, making weapons, arrays and fighting, also.” He glances at the other two. “Sora is known to be uptight and strict. You don’t seem like you’d mesh well with him. Trelos is known for being a bit of a… well eccentric individual.”
Trelos Mythos cuts in, “Still attacking us eh. Well it’s my turn now. Raja, right? I’m a peak existence in the entire world.”
“So you’re unmatched?” asks Raja Kint.
“Well I wouldn’t say unmatched. I can say that nobody in the entire world would willingly antagonize me. Of course, I noticed you use arrays and as such I also use arrays. Nobody can argue that I’m a top ten arrayist in the world. While being one of the strongest fighters in existence.”
Sora Doragon clears his throat. “It’s true that I’m the only sky devourer in this trio. But, as you can see my standing is high enough to garner respect from the strongest existences. You heard earlier that I can already contend with sea devourers. Showcasing my combat prowess. And as a general of the Bisuke Empire I have impeccable knowledge in the area of warfare. Along with knowledge in multiple disciplines that I’ve learned from the battlefields throughout my time. Knowledge that can save your life in situations whereas the other two may lack such knowledge.”
Raja Kint knits his brows. Any one of them would be perfect. Sora may be a sky devourer but he’s right. It’s clear him becoming a sea devourer is only a matter of time. Akarui is clearly an existence that anyone in the world would be grateful to be under. Then there’s Trelos who seems to truly be a peak existence in the entire world. But, if my goal is to go beyond this world quickly and with a stable foundation. Training under the strongest existence can’t possibly be the wrong decision.
Raja Kint looks at the three men. “I want to say something without everyone else hearing.”
From Trelos Mythos feet an array spreads out covering the four of them. “Go ahead,” Trelos Mythos says with a smirk.
“Show off,” says Akarui Fenikkusu
Raja Kint says, “I want to become an immortal. So I ideally want the person who will give me the best chance at such an opportunity.”
Trelos Mythos says, “That’s a difficult request to fulfill young one.”
“I’ve also been recruited by a person from the Kunlun Continent. With a still open invitation to join their faction when I arrive.”
The two old men slightly raise their eyebrows while the general keeps a straight face.
“Which faction?” asks Sora Doragon.
“Myriad Laws Faction.”
The three men’s eyes widen in surprise.
“To think you got an invitation to them. We could easily take you there to make good on such an opportunity,” says Akarui Fenikkusu.
“Why deny them in the first place. They’re one of the strongest powers in the entire world. Some would even argue the strongest with the amount of talented cultivators from there,” says Trelos Mythos.
“I like being free. I’ll probably join them another time but for now I want to experience what the faction won’t give me.”
“I truly like your mindset.” Says Sora Doragon. “I also must admit that I’m inferior compared to these two in achieving what you want.”
“The truth is that if you want immortality. There are very few in the world who can help you achieve such a thing besides Trelos.” Akarui Fenikkusu sighs.
Raja Kint looks at Trelos Mythos. “Why are you considered such a good teacher?”
“Because if it wasn’t for some events I’d already be an immortal.”
Raja Kint raises his eyebrows.
“You’ll naturally learn more as you become stronger.” Akarui Fenikkusu looks at the old man.
Raja Kint nods his head as he steps toward Trelos Mythos. Seems in the end I would’ve gone with him regardless Calanthe.
Trelos Mythos straightens his back out, takes down the array so the crowd can see and hear as he speaks with a deep voice, “Do you Raja Kint pledge to be my, Trelos Mythos disciple?”
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Raja Kint drops to a knee. “I Raja Kint pledge to be Trelos Mythos disciple.”
“Rise Raja Kint as my new disciple.”
Raja Kint stands up as Trelos Mythos slaps his shoulder. “All right, now let me know what you want to do before we leave.”
“If you ever stop by the army make sure to meet me,” says Sora Doragon as he steps through the air.
“Ever find yourself in the Cardinal Region do visit Sanguine Birds Country.” Akarui Fenikkusu flies away.
“I will seniors,” yells Raja Kint. He turns to his second master. “I would like to say goodbye to my first master.” He points toward where Master A is seated.
Trelos Mythos nods his head. “Being filial is very good.” He grabs Raja Kint’s arm and flies through the air.
Raja Kint closes his eyes as the memory of Enyo Kint picking him up and traveling through the air resurfaces. Trelos Mythos keeps an eye on Raja Kint and notices he doesn’t have the reaction first-time flyers usually have. They land before those from the Kint Sect.
Raja Kint opens his eyes and looks toward Master A. “Master A, disciple will be going into the world now.”
Master A nods his head. “This is the greatest day of my life. For both of my disciples to have been chosen is truly a miracle.” He clenches the hand of the woman from the Lerup Sect.
To the side Kyoot Kint was still present with her second master. Her master is a middle-aged male sky devourer. Trelos Mythos looks at her new master too.
Master A beckons his two disciples to come over. Raja Kint and Kyoot Kint step closer as they’re pulled into a hug. “I’ve watched you Kyoot since you were a young girl stumble every step of the way to this point. Words alone truly can’t describe the happiness I feel.”
Kyoot Kint lightly wipes her eyes. “Master A please don’t make me cry again. This is supposed to be a joyous day and now I’ve cried multiple times.”
“Tears of joy are always good. Even though I’ve known you for a short time Raja. You’ve truly helped Kyoot reach this point today. Motivating her to become stronger and in turn amazing me with your abilities. Becoming anything less than an immortal isn’t what I’m expecting.” Master A smiles toward Raja Kint.
“I’ll definitely become such a being.”
“As your senior sister I can’t have you surpassing me forever. My new goal will be to become an immortal. I can’t leave my junior brother alone.” Kyoot Kint smiles.
Raja Kint responds, “You’d best be serious.”
Master A releases them as the woman pinches Raja Kint’s cheek with a grin. “I knew you had the talent back then.” She looks toward Kyoot Kint. “Great job on achieving this. I hope you become an immortal. Becoming immortal is the ultimate goal for all cultivators. So you both have to keep stepping forward in your journey no matter what happens.”
The two nod their heads as Kyoot Kint begins walking back to her master. Empros Kint and King Kint step toward Raja Kint.
“I look forward to the day your name is known throughout the continent,” says Empros Kint.
Trelos Mythos says, “With the commotion he’s caused, I’m sure his name is already making rounds. The continent is warmed up for any big surprises.”
“If everyone is warmed up then you can’t keep them waiting. I’ll take care of everything you mentioned. Just do as you wish,” says King Kint.
Raja Kint nods his head as he turns around and walks next to Trelos Mythos. Kyoot Kint and her master leave. Trelos Mythos grabs Raja Kint’s arm and flies into the air.
“Luckily we’re not too far from here. Just at the other end of Bisuke City where Bisuke Capitol resides.”
Raja Kint raises an eyebrow. “Capitol? I thought the cities were the highest places within an area.”
“Boy, you’re going to look at the world through an entirely new lens. The city is important. The capital is where the most important figures in the Bisuke Empire reside. Haha, you probably have no clue how to deal with the political scene huh.”
“I could care less about some political scene. I’m here to become stronger.”
“I would hope things stay so simple for you. I heard you already embarrassed some kids at the emperor’s dinner.”
“So?” Raja Kint casually looks at the land beneath him.
“So. Whether you want to or not the scene will find you.”
“I have your name.”
“As long as it’s the younger generation I won’t interfere. Plus, you wouldn’t do that anyway. Otherwise you would’ve gone with the Myriad Law representative. Which is quite a smart choice.” Trelos Mythos glances at Raja Kint. “Makes me wonder, how old are you?”
“Ten.”
“Eh?” Trelos Mythos falls a few feet before regaining his composure. “What a monster. I don’t think I’ve ever met such a monstrous talent or heard of such a monstrous talent in my life before.” He takes a breath. “I heard you also use law. Is that true?”
“Wow, you may as well tell me my entire life.” Raja Kint manifests earth law to where Trelos Mythos is holding him.”
“HAHA!” People from below look up hearing such booming laughter. Raja Kint winces as his ears pulsate in pain.
Trelos Mythos continues, “Once we land I need to investigate your body and talk about your current accomplishments to prepare an optimal limbo realm breakthrough for you.”
Raja Kint warily says, “I’m not too sure about checking out my body.”
Trelos Mythos raises an eyebrow. “You have a special body? It would make sense of your insane progress. Anyways, if you can’t trust me then who can you trust. Plus, my hunch is telling me you don’t know how to use what you have. Wouldn’t it help if your master who happens to be a peak existence. Helps his genius disciple unearth his talent.” During the last sentence Trelos Mythos looks at Raja Kint with a smile.
Raja Kint thinks for a moment and nods his head. “Yeah, I wouldn’t want to waste any potential.” Raja Kint smiles. This feels like a new beginning.
