“That’s the end of round one.”
Raja Kint was teleported back to the rest area. Upon teleportation, he found people quickly pulling those who failed away. He turned his head to see a pale-faced Rhode Kint approaching.
She walked next to him and began recovering her strength. The tan boy, now sprawled on the ground. Looked toward the screen. The other survivors began to recuperate their strength as well.
Coming from the screen. “Alright, we’ll have 10-minute intermissions between each round.”
Raja Kint sat down, pulling out a pill. “Here,” he said to Rhode Kint. She opened her eyes and took the pill. “Thanks.” As she placed the pill on her tongue, closing her eyes again.
Raja Kint walked to the guards. “Can I talk to someone in the second rest area?”
“No,” responded the right guard.
Raja Kint nodded his head as he walked away. Wonder how Kyoot is going to do. Raja Kint sat down, waiting for Kyoot Kint to fight.
Inside the second rest area.
Kyoot Kint is currently sitting with the strongest student from the martial division along with the Head Array Disciple from the Lerup Sect.
Kyoot Kint looked toward the martial student. “Kaze Kint, you need to be able to hold on for us to set up our arrays.”
Kaze Kint slaps his chest. “Of course, can’t I hold on for at least a few minutes. As long as there aren’t any ninth stages I’ll be fine.”
“It wouldn’t take a few minutes under normal conditions,” says the Head Array Disciple, Aoi Lerup.
“As long as you complete your arrays and help me out. We saw what the first round was like. It’s a den full of monsters eating monsters.” Kaze Kint wore a serious expression.
Kyoot Kint says, “Just a little bit then you’ll have help.”
The three fell silent as time slowly passed.
Kyoot Kint’s vision distorted. Her heart began pounding as her mind became clearer than glass. When her feet touched ground she quickly began creating her array.
Even though there’s a buffer before anyone can actually fight. Arrayists had to take this chance to craft their arrays.
Kyoot Kint activated her fleeing technique as ki gazelle legs appeared. She swiftly moved about crafting an array. Some nearby competitors looked at her speed with surprise. Some immediately deciding not to fight her. Who would want to fight an arrayist who can just run?
She didn’t hear any outside noises until. “DING!” She didn’t lose focus as her heart became more calm. Her technique, although she isn’t aiming for perfection, improved. Finally, she finished her first array which was for defense and left enough space to carve other arrays inside of. One done.
She immediately began crafting a second array, small enough for a single, sitting person. “DING!”
“DING!” Sound erupted as people all around fought.
Kyoot Kint focused on her array as she knew what needed to be done. Two done. She quickly began crafting her third array just inside of the fourth array.
Raja Kint smiled seeing her craft the third array.
Kyoot Kint moved at blinding speeds. A bit of exhaustion showing on her face. “Bang!” She glanced up to see someone attacked her array. Only for the person to cause no effect. The boy looked at her and then the array before grunting and going elsewhere. Kyoot Kint felt relief with the boy leaving. She also glanced to see Aoi Lerup currently fighting someone who interrupted his array. She also saw Kaze Kint sneak attacking someone. Almost. She thought as she focused on her array again.
After a moment she finished when another attack landed on her outer array. She looked over to see a girl frowning.
“Are you just going to hide? Let’s see how long that’ll last for.”
“Yeah, let’s see.”
Kyoot Kint turned to see another person to her right. Just one more. She quickly began focusing on her last array. Even though she felt tired, with enemies at the front door she couldn’t rest now. She created the final array with blitzing speed. Showing her familiarity with this array compared to the other three. The two attacked the outer array as it began to tremble. The trembling fueled by the two as they launched more attacks.

If it wasn’t for the bedlam landscape. The two would’ve attacked with full power without a thought. But, with so many enemies around, they didn’t dare use full power and potentially tire themselves out so early on.
The girl who was attacking quickly turned to see Kaze Kint already behind her. He clenched his fist as a ki gorilla arm appeared. The girl blocked as she was forced away from the array. With gritted teeth she ran forward when she heard something to her left.
“Pow.” Her head was sent flying, her mind confused. Kaze Kint looked at the attacker. The boy who was helping her just a moment ago. The boy ran forward as ki skunk claws appeared. Kaze Kint ran forward as his right hand had ki wolverine claws, left-hand ki wolverine jaw.
Both slashed with their right hands. Forcing each other to take a step back. Both their left hands soared forward. Kaze Kint’s ki wolverine jaw is unique as he caught his opponent’s wrist and began squeezing.
The boy’s eyes widened as a striking pain shot through his wrist, his bones creaking. He tried to pull away only to no avail. He began slashing out. But Kaze Kint could equalize the blows. The boy roared in anger when.
“Crack. Ahh!” The boy’s left wrist was completely broken. Effectively making him unable to continue. With ragged breaths, clenched jaw and hateful eyes. He dashed forward looking for mutual destruction.
Kaze Kint also noticed someone approaching from behind. He quickly shifted to the side of both attacks at the last moment. Causing both of the attackers to slam into each other.
“AHH!” Blood sprayed as a girl had flesh ripped from bone by the kamikaze attack. Meanwhile, the boy suffered her palm strike. Distorting his vision seeing everything hazily and swirling.
Kaze Kint looked around, seeing no one approaching he sighed in relief. Even though he may not seem it all the time. He was definitely serious about giving his best. Even if his talent was a bit low he could always find other ways. One of which happened to be fight iq.
Seeing Kyoot Kint was still creating her array without disturbances he ran over to Aoi Lerup. To his surprise, Aoi Lerup erupted with a powerful ki technique at this moment. Forcing back the person fighting him. Kaze Kint sneak attacked the boy.
Kaze Kint noticed someone as he went for his sneak attack. His left hand clamping down on the boy’s neck.
In the next moment, Aoi Lerup suffered a blindside attack. He quickly swung his arm only to feel pain in his midsection. He keeled over. “Ugh.” a hefty blow striking his back. Aoi Lerup slammed into the ground. He wasn’t ready to give up as he quickly rose.
The attacker was ruthless. Aoi Lerup’s head was slammed into the arena. Warm liquids running from his nose.
“Drip. Drip.” Aoi Lerup looked at the droplets of blood falling to the stage. “GRAAR!” Aoi Lerup used every ounce of his strength. NO! I’m UNWILLING! Grabbing the leg he sees and wantonly pulling the leg. The attacker fell with a grunt. Aoi Lerup crawled up their body as he landed blow after blow. The attacker didn’t respond in time due to shock.
“Pow! Pow! Splatter.” Punches flew as blood colored the arena around the two. Aoi Lerup punched with all he could when the attacker’s body disappeared.
“Nice job,” said Kaze Kint.
Aoi Lerup turned over, a vengeful face as he looked at Kaze Kint. “Damn you, we were supposed to be a team.”
Kaze Kint slightly raised his eyebrows, eyes widening in surprise. “Of course, why would I let something like this happen. I couldn’t even help because I was dealing with the other guy.”
Aoi Lerup’s chest heaved up and down. He had exerted himself to the point he knew his time was up. Not to mention, how could he possible have the chance to craft an array now? “You’d best pray to the heavens you’re chosen. Otherwise, you’ll never have a day of peace in hell with me.” A bloody grin appeared, his eyes holding a glint of craziness.
Kaze Kint felt uncomfortable as Aoi Lerup’s body disappeared. “I don’t even know him well. Did he really think I would give up such a great two-for-one opportunity?” He smiled. “He did more than I thought. Make that a three-for-one. Although, he isn’t someone I can take lightly.” Thinking back to the scene he saw. Kaze Kint’s heart ran cold as he became enraged. He sought someone nearby to release some anger.
Kyoot Kint had already crafted her arrays and was comfortably improving their quality. She had calmly watched everything occur since Kaze Kint dodged a sneak attack. Luckily, with people testing and failing to destroy her outer array. It acted as a natural deterrent toward others.
As she honed the last array she created. Someone slammed into her outer array before disappearing. Hearing the slam she looked up to see a girl looking over. The others around the girl seemed to be warily watching her. The girl looked at Kyoot Kint as she walked over.
Seeing everyone watching and no one coming forward made Kyoot Kint realize this was a serious threat. Could she be a ninth stage? The girl calmly placed her hand on the array. A ki wasp stinger appeared over her hand. She brought her hand back and with straight fingers she pierced forth. Piercing through the array like a spoon through pudding.
Kyoot Kint didn’t react in the slightest. She had plenty of time to strengthen her inner three arrays and recover. She walked to the smallest array and sat down.
The girl looked with narrowed eyes. “You’ve made yourself a high dense ki area. Well, not that dense but you’ll be able to recover quicker than others.”
Someone launched an attack against the girl. At the last moment the girl turned, her hand piercing through the person’s shoulder. The person shrieked in pain as they fell to the ground.
The girl disappointingly looked at the person. “You should just leave. Or I can pierce more of you. Your choice.”
The person disappeared not a second later.
The girl looked toward Kyoot Kint. “We probably won’t be interrupted now. Let’s test how strong you are.” Both of her hands were covered in ki wasp stingers. On her back ki wasp wings appeared. Her wings quickly flapped as she lightly rose into the air.
