Raja Kint is sitting on the floor in his room. Eyes closed, he’s practicing his fists of devastation. So close. Raja Kint is currently attempting to fully form his third spiral. As he concentrated, the third spiral slowly inched closer and closer to completion.
“Finally!” Raja Kint opened his eyes as he held the three spirals. The strength contained within was far more than he expected. Suddenly he noticed something and looked toward the window. “Day? I was practicing all night and didn’t even realize it. The sun is pretty high up too.”
Raja Kint looked down at his right fist. “I have the feeling now. But, this is seriously strong. My fist will definitely become severely injured if I ever release such strength. No wonder this is meant for limbo realms.”
Raja Kint dispersed the spirals. “Phwoo.” With a deep breath Raja Kint began practicing his family’s martial arts. When he stopped he noticed the sky was becoming dark again. “I’ve been wondering this since I’ve broken through. Can I strengthen my body further?” Raja Kint furrowed his brows, pacing back and forth.
“To reach this in the first place required a moment of enlightenment that supplied me with a lot of ki. Those moments aren’t so easy to reach.” Raja Kint paced toward the window. “That was starting from zero as well. Starting now would require much more ki. And I would want it done rather quickly too. Wait, how strong is my body exactly. It’s been taking beatings for a while yet I’ve never really felt threatened. Even when I exhaust my ki.”
Raja Kint left his room. Downstairs he saw King Kint talking to Exochos Kint. The two noticed him.
King Kint asks, “Where are you headed?”
“I want to test something out.” Raja Kint opens the door.
“Why not use my insight to help.”
Raja Kint turned to look at King Kint. If I had his help then he would be able to accurately tell me how strong my body is. “If King Kint is willing then I would be more than happy.”
Exochos Kint says, “Talk normal. Father only needs to keep appearances up for others. You’re good.”
The father and son leave with Raja Kint. They walk toward the nearby forest.
King Kint says, “Let’s head a bit deeper.”
Raja Kint feels a hand grab his waist as he begins moving at high speeds. He looks over at Exochos Kint. Who’s looking back at him.
“Seems you can handle this speed calmly,” says Exochos Kint.
“You too.”
After a few minutes, they reach a large boulder with many trees around. The two boys are released as they lightly stretch their bodies.
“I would like to attack you.” Raja Kint looks at King Kint.
“Do as you wish.”
Raja Kint nods his head as he clenches his fists. He runs forward and punches without holding back. Thumping sounds echo through the forest as King Kint catches Raja Kint’s fists. After 22 punches Raja Kint stops. “Now attack me. Start with a peak outer ki realm and raise the strength from there.”
King Kint nods his head. Raising his hand he presses his palm against Raja Kint’s chest. Raja Kint feels bearable pain. King Kint moves his hand.
“How strong was that?” asks Raja Kint.
“Peak outer ki realm.”
“So my body should be unstoppable beneath the limbo realm. Can you do a limbo realm attack now?” A hint of joy in Raja Kint’s voice.
King Kint looked toward Exochos Kint. “Attack him with your full strength.”
Raja Kint raises an eyebrow. “Is the result not already clear?”
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
King Kint smiled. “There are a few outer ki realms who can begin breaching the boundary to limbo realm. Whether it be their body, ki control, attack strength, defense or movement.”
Raja Kint narrowed his eyes as Exochos Kint smiles. “I don’t have any full body techniques like my sister. I just messed around with some random ki techniques.”
“Sounds like a waste of time.”
Exochos Kint raised his right hand, palm facing outward. “Eh, they’re pretty good for improving ki control.” Ki seeped from his hand and swirled into an ambiguous shape. The shape soon began looking like an arrow. He raised his left arm and pulled back like he had a bow. Barely visible strands of ki were attached to the arrow. As the arrow continued gaining ki and a clearer shape. It seemed like the ki couldn’t be fully controlled. On the inside of the arrow. The ki seemed sporadic.
“Looks like the training only half paid off,” stated Raja Kint. I have a bad feeling about this arrow. Raja Kint clenched his right fist.
“At least try it before you knock it.” Exochos Kint smiled as he pulled his left arm all the way back.
Raja Kint felt his heart drop to his stomach. Danger! Raja Kint began creating his three spirals. “Fine, I admit I may have been a bit overconfident in my body. So, in turn I’ll give you my strongest attack.” I don’t want to burst my hand so let’s try a bit of law. He sent earth law to his right hand. Bracing for the explosion.
Exochos Kint exhaled. “Have a taste of the Pathway Arrow.” His left arm released the arrow. The arrow shot forth at blazing speeds while his right arm stayed up. The grass below his arrow parted. Like soldiers making way for their king.
Raja Kint lifted his left foot and stomped down. Simultaneously throwing out his right fist. “First Fist of Devastation.” As the arrow approached, the ki burst out. A heatwave engulfed the area before his fist. In the middle of the heatwave was a minuscule line. If one looked close enough they would see a spiral. A spiral, despite being small, signifying success in the technique. As Raja Kint’s right arm fully extended the arrow concurrently arrived.
“BOOM!”
The initial clash erupted with an outburst of ki that shook the surrounding trees like leaves in the wind. Wind screeching like a warning signal. The grass seemingly running back into the earth while other grass ran as far away as they could.
The ki arrow is drilling through the heatwave. Moving closer to the small spiral. Raja Kint is gritting his teeth from exertion. His entire being focused on destroying this one attack. Exochos Kint held his right hand up. For the first time since meeting Raja Kint. His calm exterior no longer existed. Replacing the calmness was a determined face: furrowed brows, clenched jaw, vein in his forehead.
Despite such a fierce clash. It was prolonged as the arrow finally touched the spiral. The arrow stopped amidst the heatwave-like ki. Suddenly, barely perceptible to the eye, the spiral is forcing the arrow back. The arrow continued to fight. Wanting to clear a path in its wake. Yet, the spiral wasn’t to be done within its domain.
Raja Kint roared like a beast, “This path… isn’t… CLEAR!” Exochos Kint bared his teeth.
Both gave their final spurts of energy when finally the arrow began falling apart from the back end. It was as if the arrow didn’t wish to be defeated. Therefore, keeping its fierce tip aimed toward the enemy till the end.
Finally, the arrow dispersed. Exochos Kint began falling over. “No.” Exochos Kint forced his feet underneath himself. He looked up as the heatwave didn’t stop, coming toward him like an angry army. His vision was partly blocked by a figure. Albeit still able to see everything happening. A palm met the heatwave head-on. Blocking the attack.
King Kint held his palm out and dispersed ki to stop Raja Kint’s attack. To his surprise, when the spiral encountered his ki. It didn’t disperse right away. It pricked his hand. Drawing a bead of blood before disappearing. That line was green. Doesn’t the fist of devastation use one’s own ki? His eyebrows knitted. What type of ki does he use.
Seeing his attack dispersed so easily, Raja Kint wryly shook his head. Only a bead of blood in the end.
When Exochos Kint saw the bead of blood he felt shock then dread. For father to become injured is incredible. That attack definitely isn’t within the confines of the outer ki realm. He may already be considered a half step into limbo realm. Strictly off of fighting potential. Then there’s his body. Even now he can stand and probably with energy to come at me.
Raja Kint looked at his right fist. It seems using law is a genius idea. This way I’ll never be hurt again. However, using law with this technique is a lot to handle. Honestly, I only have one full-strength attack in me. Raja Kint looked toward the father and son. “Thanks for the help.”
King Kint shook his hand. The blood flying off, returning his hand to pristine condition. “Not bad.” He looked at Raja Kint and Exochos Kint. “Let’s stay here a bit so you two can recover. If you're both fine with it. Why not spar here for the next two days.” With no response. “Where else can you spar all out for two days straight against an equal? Plus, it’s not like you’ll see each other every day after the event. Ease up.”
Exochos Kint says, “Let’s do it.”
Raja Kint agrees as the two sit down to recover and spar with King Kint providing them guidance. For the days leading up to the main event. Sounds continuously rang out in the forest.
