“Can I spend a moment alone with Leader Icurio?” Asked Raja Kint as he looked at everyone.
All the leaders looked at him weirdly. “Give the boy a moment,” said Icurio.
The four leaders left, leaving Icurio and Raja Kint alone. “If you had ki stones would you be able to break through to the ninth inner ki?”
Icurio raised an eyebrow as he replied, “If I got some ki stones then I could break through in a few months.”
Raja Kint asked, “If you broke through would you still be willing to aid us in the escape?”
“Haha! What would I do, leave and wander around while reading about the escape?” Icurio sighed, “There aren’t any great events to speak of in my life. But if I can lead with a young hero beside me. That would be a great story to tell.”
“Are you 100% sure I can trust the others? And who was Big Sis Odaya referring to when she mentioned someone who likes blood?”
“Most people down here are here to merely survive. As social creatures, it’s normal to form groups. The issue is that there’s one group that causes much trouble down here. If news of you being the core of this plan got out then we’d have to protect you nonstop. I’ll go talk to him but the chance of having to kill him will be high. If it comes to that then I’ll team up with the others to eliminate him.”
Raja Kint reached into his clothes and pulled out a handful of ki stones. He then dropped them into the Icurio’s hands. “I hope that you break through in a few months Leader Icurio.”
“Just call me Senior Icurio. I’m assuming you have more. Don’t hand anyone else any and focus on yourself. Odayakana told me about your talent. After seeing you today it only made me believe in you. Now go off and train, my door is open whenever you want to talk about anything.”
“Bye Senior Icurio,” Raja Kint turned and left. Outside the door, the other leaders looked at Raja Kint. “I’m done here so see ya everyone. And stay pretty Big Sis Odaya!”
Aspro chuckled, “It’s nice to have such young vigor among the group.”
Icurio said, “Everyone come in, we must discuss how to deal with that bloodthirsty man.”
Raja Kint returned to his room, locked his door, and went to cultivate. With the leaders making a plan he only needed to focus on raising his strength.
After a week of sticking to himself a knock sounded at the door followed by a voice.
“It’s me, the two of us need your help.” This voice belonged to the scarred boy. Raja Kint opened the door to see the two boys together and welcomed them in.
The scarred boy says, “You may not know but there’s this group that only wants to cause trouble for others down here. Well, recently Leader Odigo came out and said that he would be joining their group soon. Now he’s causing trouble around here. The already horrible days are going to become worse. I’m sure you saw the skulls in his room. Those are the skulls of people who simply gave him a slight inconvenience. And today he announced that with you by his side. He plans on exerting more influence over the rest of us without backing.”
The green-eyed boy says, “Can we use you as our backing? We can tell you may be willing to kill but you aren’t like them. This came out of nowhere so suddenly that we’re all confused as to why he wants more influence. But it can’t be for anything good. Especially since earlier today he took one of the young girls into his room by force.”
Raja Kint raised an eyebrow, “This sounds insane, considering I spend all my time in this room alone. It makes sense none of this really reaches my ears.” As Raja Kint sat down he felt something about this situation was off.
“Leave me alone, for now, I’d like to think over this situation.” The two boys left the room without another word.
He did have skulls in his room so he kills and he made it quite apparent he enjoys killing. But why go around announcing this openly? Is there something deeper that I’m not seeing? Well if he plans on having me join him. Then he should be calling for me soon.

Raja Kint turned his mind back toward cultivation.
Days moved by slowly beneath the coliseum. With Raja Kint focusing on cultivation he didn’t mind the days passing by. It didn’t matter as he focused solely on cultivation.
Soon enough it’s been one month since Raja Kint had been captured. His cultivation was currently at the fifth inner ki and he could feel the sixth inner ki wasn’t far.
Today he wanted to visit Senior Icurio to ask some questions about the outside world.
After the midday meal, Raja Kint went to Senior Icurio's door and went inside. Because Senior Icurio told him how to enter without a key. Raja Kint was the only person allowed to enter Senior Icurio’s room anytime.
With no one present he sat down to cultivate. After a few minutes, the door opened to Senior Icurio and Leader Aspro walking in laughing.
Raja Kint stood up and cupped his hands, “Senior Icurio, Leader Aspro.”
Senior Icurio waved his hand in dismissal and Raja Kint asked his question. “Senior I’ve been curious lately. Who exactly is the strongest person in this town?”
Senior Icurio responded as he sat in his chair, “I don’t know his name but his cultivation is third outer ki.”
“Do you know any big sects in the area? I got stuck down here because I wasn’t sure where to go. So I’d rather not make that mistake again.” Raja Kint was a bit embarrassed to ask this question. How stupid did it sound that the reason he got captured was that he was lost?
Leader Aspro responded, “The hegemon of this area is the Kint Sect but I’m sure you already know that.”
“Actually my background is a bit complicated. I’m not from around here so I have no clue about the Kint Sect.”
The two old men showed shocked expressions, looked at each other and then laughed. Raja Kint was caught off guard by their laughing.
Senior Icurio says, “We discussed how an amazing young man like you could have grown up in these lower-tier areas.”
Leader Aspro added, “Now that you say you aren’t from around here it makes sense. The type of young man you are. It seems you are destined for more than anyone in these places. From my knowledge, the Kint Sect has the best Academy in the area. I don’t remember specifics but I’m sure you’ll figure something out from there.”
Raja Kint nodded his head, “That’ll be enough for me to figure out the rest. Any direction to travel in once we leave?”
“Go east from here and you’ll find yourself at the academy,” responded Aspro.
Icurio asked, “Do you mind telling us old folks a bit about your life?”
Raja Kint laughed as he said, “I can tell you after we break out.”
Aspro says, “After we break out we’ll probably never see each other again. With your talents, your feats may reach our ears but that’s about it.”
Raja Kint sighed, “I got too excited. I don’t mind explaining a bit about my background. It was great, we had a whole planet dedicated to our family alone.”
Raja Kint went on to tell the old men a bit of his background and a few stories.
“Your background is beyond my wildest imagination. You have to make sure to become great on the outside. The two of us will probably never break through to the outer ki realm. But you're only how old and you're at the fifth inner ki,” said Icurio.
Raja Kint replied, “I’m nine years old right now.” The two old men almost keeled over.
Aspro exasperatedly said, “It seems that the new will surpass the old.”
Raja Kint says, “How is it going with the blood-hungry group?”
“I’ve tried talking to them and it won’t work. So I, Aspro and Mavros were going to kill the leader. And Odayakana and Prasinos would lead groups to exterminate the weaker members.”
“I want to join in on this too. This sounds like a good time for me to showcase myself. Especially now that I feel the sixth inner ki is so close. Just give me two weeks max.”
Icurio said, “Pushing it back a few days won’t hurt.”
Raja Kint said, “I want to face him one on one.” The two old men immediately rejected the notion.
“I’ll prove it to you, when I reach the sixth inner ki I’ll be able to beat an eighth inner ki.”
Icurio responded, “I’ll let you have the fight but if it seems you can’t win. I’m stepping in myself to finish it. I don’t have much in life but I damn sure can’t let such a talent die due to my negligence.”
Raja Kint laughed as he cupped his hands and left. The two old men could see the fire in Raja Kint’s eyes.
Aspro says, “I sure miss the fire of youth.”
