86: Red Envelope

Raja Kint dominated the clash as the boy was sent backward. Raja Kint closely following. The boy’s hands began glowing and he slammed his right palm forward. Raja Kint punched again and this time it was a standstill.

The boy raised his eyebrows as he began slamming his palms forward. Raja Kint sending fists forward. Raja Kint slips between the punches for a clean punch to the chest.

The boy grimaces and roars, “King’s Palm!” His right palm glows so bright that Raja Kint is forced to squint.

Raja Kint is too close as the palm slams into his face. “Bam!” He stumbles backward from the force. That wasn’t too bad, this’ll be easy. Raja Kint comes back and sends more punches forward. To his surprise the boy holds his ground. And with his glowing palms he was able to hold his own to a degree. As Raja Kint is preparing to land another clean strike.

The boy smiles as he steps into the strike. And extends both of his palms. “King’s Hand.” His two palms glow blindingly bright as they slam against Raja Kint’s chest.

Raja Kint is forced backward and feels his chest. If it wasn’t for the previous guy this attack would’ve put me on edge. His right foot stomped down as he was preparing to charge forward again.

The boy roars, “A King’s Majesty.” His entire body glows blindingly bright as he charges toward Raja Kint.

Raja Kint has a look of interest. What type of ability is this? They trade blows and Raja Kint is shocked to find just his physical body may no longer be enough for attacking. They trade more blows and Raja Kint finds himself being matched. His feet begin tapping the ground as his dance-like fighting style comes to the forefront.

The boy responds with his own fighting style. He brings his palms in close and steps forward. Raja Kint sends punches from different angles while each of the boy’s strikes aim for an area that would create imbalance in posture. He quickly realized that the fighting style Raja Kint uses seems to have no imbalance.

“Pow!” Raja Kint lands a punch on the boy’s face. He doesn’t stop as he lands a sweeping left kick knocking the boy off balance. As he closes in the boy leans into the fall. Rolling backward and immediately coming up. “King’s Palm.” With his body technique already active the palm is even more fierce. Raja Kint decides to launch an attack in kind.

The palm can’t force its way through the heatwave like ki. Leaving them at a momentary standstill. After a few moments Raja Kint’s attack begins overpowering and in no time the ki slams against the boy. He falls to the ground, coughing up blood. Raja Kint closes in as the boy quickly rises, albeit unsteadily. They trade two more blows and after ten moves Raja Kint comes out on top. Raja Kint looks at the boy panting.

“If you don’t show me your strongest move now. Then you can’t say I didn’t give you a chance,” says Raja Kint.

The boy frowns. “Remember that you asked for defeat.” He collects his breathing and looks at Raja Kint. He raises his hands toward Raja Kint. His glowing body dims as a sphere appears before his hands. Soon his body is normal while a sphere of ki is floating before him.

This is what I saw in the final clash between him and Exochos. The move Exochos lost to. I’ll destroy this move to showcase my dominance.

Raja Kint spirals the ki in his right fist. Going right below the completion of three spirals. Remembering how strong the arrow was he didn’t want to take any chances. Even though the arrow was able to force its way through the heatwave ki of three spirals. The three spirals heat wave is actually weaker than the two spirals. Because the three spiral completion involves the release of an actual ki spiral. With the heatwave being an after-effect of the spiral. Whereas beneath completion the heatwave is the attack itself.

The sphere moves through the heatwave like ki and reaches Raja Kint’s hand. Raja Kint uses the constant release of ki from his hand and punches the sphere. The sphere wobbles and begins to dissipate under the fist. After a breath of time Raja Kint emerges the victor. His opponent falling onto his back.

Raja Kint looks at his fist. That sphere was ridiculously strong. I can see why the arrow failed to overpower it. If my body hadn’t improved then this fight and the previous one would’ve seriously pushed me. Not hearing the boy giving up. Raja Kint begins walking over.

Grabbing the boy’s neck he lifts him into the air. Making eye contact Raja Kint begins punching his body. Thumping sounds ringing throughout the arena.

Seeing the boy wouldn’t give in the referee stepped in to declare Raja Kint the winner.

Knowing the boy wasn’t going to admit defeat. Raja Kint mocks him. “You shouldn’t hold on to your useless pride. You didn’t even make me take you seriously. Heck, if this was a battle to the death. I would’ve killed you on the first move.”

The boy looks at Raja Kint in anger. “I never admit defeat. If you don’t train as hard as you can then I’ll win.”

Raja Kint glanced at him. “Retard.”

The announcer steps forward. “Incredible battles indeed. Give us a few days everyone. Then we’ll gather the final 128 back here in ranking order to decide who’ll get lucky.”

Raja Kint looks at the referee and asks, “Can I fight Josho Fenix?”

The referee responds, “He won’t be fighting here. If you want your chance. You’ll have to face him at a higher cultivation stage.”

Raja Kint nods his head.

“What’s the name of your body cultivation technique?” asks the referee.

“Not supposed to tell.” Raja Kint walks off as the winner.

The announcer notices and says, “Hold on winner, there’s something special for you. Come on up here. Everyone else is free to leave and do as you wish.”

People begin leaving the arena having witnessed the battles. Finalizing who if anyone they would recruit.

The referee tells Raja Kint to follow him for an easy path up. The two wait for the crowd to die down some before going up. Raja Kint thanks the referee for showing him the way as he stands before the announcer and a few middle-aged to old people behind him. The announcer, no longer needing to yell massages his neck.

Looking at Raja Kint. “Here’s a letter for the victor.”

Raja Kint grabs a red envelope with gold bordering. Putting it away he thanks the announcer and heads out of the arena. Meeting up with everyone else they begin heading back home.

Rhode Kint widely smiles. “To not only take down the bastard that beat me. But winning it all as well is so nice Raja. Now I can make an argument that you’re the only two that can beat me!”

Raja Kint is amazed at how shameless she was acting. Would she really go around claiming that she’s stronger than her own brother?

“You’ll have to fight me first,” says Exochos Kint.

Rhode Kint frowns. “To think my own brother doesn’t want to see me shine.”

Kyoot Kint excitedly says, “It’s amazing that you won the entire thing Raja! I wasn’t completely sure you’d do it.”

They continue talking until they reach their house. Once inside Raja Kint pulls out the red envelope. “The announcer gave me this envelope.”

King Kint looks over and his eyes widen. “Nobody’s been given an envelope before for winning. Much less an envelope from the Bisuke Royal family.”

Everyone’s heads shot over to the envelope in Raja Kint’s hand.

King Kint continues, “It’s a message only for you to see. Just tell us if you need anything.”

“To think you’re already being introduced to the royals. You have to be nice Raja,” Kyoot Kint says sternly.

Raja Kint looks away. “I act as I want.”

Kyoot Kint’s mouth drops as Rhode Kint and Martial Master laugh.

Master A says, “Hurry and read it so we know if you need anything.”

Raja Kint nods his head and opens the envelope. Taking out a white piece of paper he begins reading. After about ten seconds Raja Kint raises his left pinky finger and places it over a seal on the bottom right of the paper. The seal lightly glows in response and the paper and envelope turn to dust.

Raja Kint raises his head. “They’re having a dinner tomorrow night and want me to join. There’ll be someone to pick me up tomorrow too.”

Master A says, “We have to get you some proper clothes. Something that says royalty.”

Raja Kint refutes, “They invited me. I’ll just get a new taoist robe to wear.”

Master A is about to speak when Empros Kint intervenes. “That may be a smart move. It shows you won’t bend over backward to please. While also showing your pride as a cultivator. Pride is something any young talented cultivator should wear.”

King Kint nods in agreement. “At least they’re getting an authentic you. Plus, you always have the excuse of not being in such elite circles.”

Empros Kint and Raja Kint head out to get him some clothes. They walk around and ask a few people before finding a high-quality shop. Walking in they look around and Raja Kint finds a black taoist robe with speckles of white. The shopkeeper comes over. Raja Kint can immediately tell that this shopkeeper is at the limbo realm.

“This taoist robe is of very high quality for an outer ki realm. It won’t tear to any attacks of any type underneath the earth devourer stage. These speckles of white that you call them. Are a separate material from the black. Giving the cloth it’s ability to not tear under attacks.”

Raja Kint asks, “How much?”

After hearing the price Empros Kint gives the shopkeeper the money. The shopkeeper has a slight look of surprise. But keeps his mouth shut.

Raja Kint asks, “Is there somewhere I can change into this right now?”

“No. This isn’t exactly a place to put on clothes.”

Raja Kint shrugs his shoulders as he puts away the new clothes and leaves. They soon reach their house and Raja Kint decides to rest until the man arrives the next day.
