6: The Fateful War (2)

6: The Fateful War (2)

Raja Kint reached the main courtyard with Ruhai Kint. When they arrived they noticed all the experts in their home were gathered there.

An older man quickly shouted, “Young masters come over here. This spot will be safest for you.” The two boys ran over without hesitation. After a few breaths of time, their mother arrived. With Hikari Kint running over to them.

Irini Kint walked up to the three and pressed her palm on the ground. An array appeared below the three. Irini Kint said, "Stay inside of this array unless told otherwise. We need to focus on the war."

She turned around and walked to the center of the courtyard, yelling, “Everyone to your positions.”

All the experts went to a spot that seemed random to Raja Kint inside of the main courtyard.

Irini Kint reached the middle and vigorously pressed her palms into the ground.

A huge array appeared beneath their feet. Extending beyond the main courtyard. Everyone in the courtyard took up lotus positions and levitated in the air.

A rumbling sound echoed out from above. Raja Kint raised his head to see the World Patriarch had snapped the arrow in two and lowered his left arm.

From the vortex, three figures appeared. The man on the left is extremely tall in a black taoist robe. The man in the middle has a regal temperament with white daoist robes. On the right is a female with a white daoist robe.

The regal man said, “Today is the Kint bloodline’s day of reckoning.”

Behind the three daoists, a horde of cultivators appeared.

Raja Kint's pupils shrank at the sight and he worriedly looked toward his mother. While also wondering about his father. It didn’t matter whether you cultivated or not. A sense of impending doom surrounded the planet. Gripping at the hearts of all Kint family.

Raja Kint watched as a bloodbath ensued in space. Suddenly his mother roared, “Heavenly Obliteration Array ACTIVATE!” In the atmosphere surrounding the planet. A light blue dome appeared. Completely isolating the planet from the outside. Next, human figures seemingly made from ki were formed on the exterior of the dome. One of the figures resembled Irini Kint greatly as it roared and charged toward the oncoming army.

Now the sky was filled with hundreds of cultivators on one side. And ki human-like figures on the other.

Within the blink of an eye, first contact was made and the fateful war had officially started.

None of the daoists from either side moved at this time. Instead opting to observe the battle beneath them.

As time passed figures from both sides were dropping. Ruhai Kint says, “It seems like these ki figures can be made endlessly. But there’s no way they can be made endlessly. I think this array could potentially be siphoning power from the planet itself.”

Hikari Kint responded, “If that’s true then the planet would eventually become a wasteland. It wouldn’t be much different from losing the war.”

“The strongest five still haven’t made a move either. There’s still hope when the two of us move.” Responded Raja Kint.

Ruhai Kint said, “Maybe but I’m not too optimistic. We’re outnumbered three to two and I don’t trust that red-black-haired man much.”

Raja Kint nodded his head in agreement as he said. “With them moving three daoist against our World Patriarch shows just how strong he is. There could be more than we realize to this situation.”

Ruhai Kint replied, “True, we’ll just have to wait for them to make their move.”

As the war went on grueling hours turned into hellish days. The sky held a red hue from the blood. The air held a thick stench of iron. And some of the cultivators in the courtyard had dropped dead. Ruhai Kint had confirmed that their souls had dissipated probably because of the ki usage they had to endure to control those ki bodies. Plus they had to experience life and death over and over nonstop.

Their mother and some of the stronger cultivators showed no fatigue but the same fierceness from the first day the war had started.

The three kids had continuously looked for their father but could never spot him.

Raja Kint was extremely tired at this moment. Although cultivators don’t need to sleep much. Raja Kint had only just started his journey but had forced himself awake for the entire four days that the war had continued. Hikari Kint was fast asleep with a tear-streaked face.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Ruhai Kint only felt a slight tiredness during these four days.

Without warning, Irini Kint shouted in a bloodthirsty voice. “The enemies are slipping through the formation. Defensive team begin the counterattack.”

The two boys had an uncontrollable shiver run up their spines from their mother’s bloodthirstiness.

They noticed that within the dome attacks began appearing from anywhere in space. This is when Raja Kint finally understood the name of the array a little.

Raja Kint said, “It seems the “heavenly” is meant for defensive and the “obliteration” is meant for offensive. Maybe we have a chance after all. There’s no way people will continue to throw their lives away.”

Ruhai Kint said, “I agree but the daoist have to be making a move very soon with the new development.”

Up in space, the World Patriarch was watching the course of events below. He was internally happy that things were going better than he expected.

“Well, it seems we have to get involved now,” sounded the regal man. He then looked toward Mirai Daigo. “Are you 100% sure you want to die today?”

Mirai Daigo sneered, “Don’t try to scare me off. I’m sure knowing that I’m here you realize there’s a special fate around this event. You just aren’t sure so you want to scare me off.”

The tall man responded, “Fate good enough to risk your life huh? Sounds like good stuff, and it should have to do with the Kint family. Hmph, I’ve never believed in fate, so today you spout your bullshit fate to the grim reaper.”

The tall man took a step forward as an oppressive strength spread out.

Everyone fighting below couldn’t help but look up. With this one move, the war entered the latter stages.

The cultivators who had come through the vortex began to fight more defensively looking to stay alive. While those from the Kint family continued to fight ferociously wanting the blood of these intruders to form a river of blood around their planet!

Ayumu Kint responded in kind with a step of his own. Dispersing the oppressive aura and throwing out a punch. To anyone not a daoist this punch wouldn’t seem special.

But the tall man could clearly see how special this punch was. It was layering space on top of itself multiple times. It was like seeing a plane become destroyed only to appear inside a more powerful plane. A cycle of reincarnation for space.

The tall man sent his own punch forward. His body began expanding reaching ten meters, 70 meters, and stopping at 220 meters tall. The space before his punch became fractured offering no escape path.

Ayumu Kint was calm as the two fists collided.

“BOOM!”

“ARGHH!”

The tall man was flown backward 300 meters while coughing up blood. Ayumu Kint only slid back 50 meters.

The regal man said, “It seems that your spatial reincarnate punch lives up to its name. You used 77 layers there but I hear you can go up to 99 layers. It would seem you actually deserve to be a peak emperor stage daoist. Who is only a step away from being a ruler daoist.”

The tall man narrowed his eyes as his body expanded even further. Above his head white clouds appeared, causing his pupils to become milky white.

“I’m not only a body cultivator but my dao is also specialized in soul as well.” Said the tall man as he took out a labrys that fit his planet-sized frame perfectly.

Seeing the planet-sized frame everyone below scrambled for safety. Raja Kint was shocked that someone could become this big!

Ayumu Kint took out a sword that looked fractured.

“That’s quite a fine sword you have,” said the regal man. He glanced at the tall man and said, “You won’t fight this battle alone.” He turned his head to the woman daoist and she nodded her head. A paintbrush appeared in her right hand.

Mirai Daigo says, “It seems that it’s time for me to step in.”

“No, I can handle this much,” replied Ayumu Kint.

The woman laughed as she said, “Against two fellow emperor daoists you hold such arrogance. It seems I have to teach you a lesson today.”

Ayumu Kint took a step and disappeared, reappearing before the tall man with a sword slash. The tall man quickly sent out a slash of his own. Suddenly his instincts kicked in and he swiftly moved to block instead.

“CLANG!”

The tall man coughed up blood three more times.

Ayumu Kint took another step appearing before the woman.

She had already anticipated this and lightly tapped her paintbrush toward Ayumu Kint. He stopped his attack to disappear and reappear again. This time three of him appeared around her in separate directions. All three sent forth a slash with the power of an emperor dao world.

The woman frowned under this strength and quickly tapped her paintbrush in three different directions. She felt an impending sense of death. With a quick spin, she used her paintbrush to block the sword slash that appeared from seemingly nowhere and was pushed back. Blood dripped from her nose and lips.

Ayumu Kint stepped out of space in between the tall man and woman daoist with a calm face. The regal man furrowed his brows while thinking. Originally the three of us would be enough. But with Mirai Daigo here this is a dangerous situation. I need to call for reinforcements now.

With this thought, he brought his talisman into the open and called for help.

Mirai Daigo said, “Why go to such lengths? Who’s the one behind this whole operation?”

The regal man shifted his eyes toward Mirai Daigo. “The one behind this operation is someone that Ayumu Kint should never have offended.”

On the other side of the vortex, there’s a man currently walking out of his cave. In the blink of an eye, he had traveled farther than the eye could see.
