Raja Kint raptly listened as the Chieftain spoke.
“There’s more to the inheritance than we initially thought. It’s not only an inheritance for his bloodline. It’s also an inheritance for the world. I don’t know many specifics but what I do know is that. Once this inheritance is opened there will be a six month wait period where everyone across the world has the chance to arrive here.
“Of course, everyone can’t just recklessly rush in even once the inheritance is open. Supposedly, only those who are acknowledged by the ancestors' chosen descendants as companions can enter. With an unlimited amount of them. I also wield the ability to open the inheritance whenever I so wish. Doing it now would be a disaster for those of us who are his descendants.
“Once we do start the inheritance battle everyone’s ki will be suppressed to the peak limbo realm. While the descendants will be given earth devourer realm ki.”
“Biased.”
The Chieftain looked at Raja Kint with a smile. “When the time comes you’ll automatically have a spot with us. Just make sure you arrive quick enough.”
“When do you think you’ll open it?”
“The ancestor recommended at least 3 descendants be at the peak of the limbo realm. With me leading the way, I’ll unite the tribes under my strength solely for this chance. I can only hope within a decade. Those who are worthy of leading our bloodline will arrive down here.”
Raja Kint nodded his head. With this the two left for the tribe. As the two traveled they heard a piercing howl. Raja Kint was shocked by the strength the howl portrayed. Whereas the Chieftain’s eyes narrowed, he used his ki to shout out a mantra. As the first few syllables were released the howl rang out with a different feeling this time.
The Chieftain said, “Follow me,” as he sped off. Raja Kint focused his ki in his legs to keep up with the Chieftain. He had sorely overestimated himself as the Chieftain left his field of view.
After a while, Raja Kint found a small clearing where the Chieftain was checking a beast. This beast resembled a fox with brown fur across its body and a strip of white fur underneath. It had black pupils and green irises. The fox landed its gaze on Raja Kint as the Chieftain said something to the fox.
Raja Kint walked closer and was surprised by the fluctuations from the beast. He believed it was probably at the earth devourer realm or higher. With his current cultivation base he could only tell its ki was vaster than the Chieftain’s. The fox stood up on its four paws at about 5 feet tall. It walked over to Raja Kint and sniffed him a bit before returning to the Chieftain.
The Chieftain’s face wore a slight shock as he said, “She can tell from a distance the difference in our ki. And says she can find more earth ki for me.”
Raja Kint asked, “Why was she howling earlier?”
The Chieftain’s face became gloomy. “Some bastards chanced upon her during her sleep and laid a formation down before striking. As she was abruptly awoken she wasn’t at full strength. Luckily, the two who attacked were only weaker limbo realms. Otherwise, she would’ve suffered greatly or even worse captured.
“Not only that but it seems that these ambushers are related to the limbo realm who you killed before. All of them were wearing hoodies.”
Raja Kint was surprised as he said, “Seems like people truly covet your inheritance.”
“Indeed, she also sensed other cultivators after waking up. All of them are in the limbo realm. Seems they wanted to send a scouting party.”
Raja Kint looked out into the forest toward the Kint Sect. “Is she talking to you through her soul?”
The Chieftain nodded his head as he patted his fox. The fox stood up and dashed off into the forest. Raja Kint and the Chieftain continued toward the Tribe.
After about an hour they reached the clearing where the battlefield was before. With the battle having been a month and a half ago the clearing was clear. All the bodies were gone and even the blood wasn’t present anymore. There were patches of grass that were shorter than the surrounding grass. But the clearing overall looked normal. The two dashed toward the Tribe from here.
At the Tribe entrance, the two guards saw two figures moving extremely fast. One guard was about to yell when a familiar voice rang out.
“We’ve returned.”
The entire Tribe became incredibly active upon hearing the voice. As the two arrived at the village’s entrance. The first to appear was the group of kids Raja Kint found when he first entered these forests.

Tol Shizen said, “It’s great to see you well brother. You looked pretty exhausted after poking the chest out of that man. Haha!”
Raja Kint chuckled as the two girls greeted him too. He noticed someone missing, “Where’s Toshiro?”
Tol Shizen said, “He’s been cultivating like a madman. He even broke through to the seventh stage like me but faster. He is only 13 and I’m 15. But I still have seniority by two years on him.”
Suddenly six men appeared as Raja Kint looked over. A massive wall of muscle blocked his vision and squeezed the life out of him.
Bane Shizen thunderously said, “Little brother it’s great that you’re alive and well. Plus, you’re stronger too.”
Raja Kint despite his newfound strength couldn’t break free from this monstrous hug as his arms were restricted.
“You’ll squeeze him back into a coma at this rate,” said Tobias Shizen.
The group laughed together with Raja Kint. Of course, everyone paid their respects to the Chieftain and felt shivers down their spine while doing so.
A woman’s voice sounded out, “Move over, I want to see Raja too.”
The men all laughed while making a pathway and Odayakana rushed over pulling Raja Kint into another arm-restricting hug. As he was being hugged he noticed six powerful aura’s appear. The six commanders had shown themselves finally with the rest of the tribe standing at the entrance paying their respects to the Chieftain and even cupping their hands toward Raja Kint.
Everyone had seen how even with the Chieftains working together the outsider was able to handle himself. But when Raja Kint appeared it only took one strike for the tides of battle to sway. Hence, they considered Raja Kint a savior of their tribe. Especially after the soldiers talked about how amazing his formation was. Holding down the casualty count from what it would’ve been without the array. In all, Raja Kint could almost be said to have turned the tides of how this war should’ve originally gone with his knowledge alone.
As Raja Kint was released from his hug. Michalis Shizen slapped him on his chest, making him want to shed a tear from the strength. Why did he have to slap so hard!?
The six commanders looked at the Chieftain as Michalis Shizen spoke first.
“It seems Chieftain has come back with a path into the limbo realm.”
Chieftain replies, “Not just a path of entrance, a path to the peak of limbo realm and soon a path beyond.”
The commander with long hair and green eyes said, “After so many generations we finally have a path to walk.”
The commanders and Chieftain talked for a bit as Raja Kint talked with people as well. The two weren’t free from talking until stars sparkled above. Raja Kint and the Chieftain were together. Raja Kint was handed the reason he came out into these forests, the Three-Leaf Earth Plant.
He smiled as he stored it inside his pouch. Afterward, he followed the Chieftain further into their Hollow Grounds. As the name implies this is hollowed-out earth behind the Shizen Tribe that only the commanders and chieftains would know of. This is where anything precious was stored.
The plant Raja Kint grabbed naturally grew here in abundance to enliven the area. The two stopped before a building as the Chieftain pushed the stone doors open. Inside were a few weapons that made Raja Kint’s eyes wide. These were weapons that a small Tribe like this shouldn’t be able to make. Soon, they stopped before a glass case. Inside the case was a spear made from red wood with carvings on it. And the tip of the spear was a golden beak that had been morphed into a spear’s tip. Next to the spear was a small booklet. The Chieftain bit his finger as a drip of blood fell into a small hole in front of the case. The glass receded into the crevice of the stand.
Raja Kint could tell this was memory glass. Memory glass was a malleable thick liquid. That once had a memorized shape to copy would harden into a glass and then back into its liquid form dependent on the trigger. In this case the trigger seems to be bloodline. From what Raja Kint understood even those clans who could rival his home planet. Also used this glass as there were different grades.
The Chieftain grabbed the spear and handed it to Raja Kint. “I want to present this spear to you on account of your help. I may not know how strong this spear is. But, it isn’t ordinary at all.
Raja Kint’s hand touched the wood and he could feel a slight hotness emanating from it. He used his other hand to touch the spear’s tip and felt the coolness of the beak and how smooth it was. As he inspected it more he realised these carvings might be arrays. “How did you get this spear?”
“No clue, these have been guarded for generations. It’s clear that no one in these tribes after the curse has the ability to craft such items.”
Raja Kint sent some ki into the spear’s carvings and noticed his ki seemed to follow the carving’s path. Consolidating his earlier idea. “Sadly, I don’t have enough ki otherwise I could bring forth the true strength of this spear.”
The Chieftain smiled, “I’m sure you’ll grow into it.” As he handed Raja Kint the booklet.
Raja Kint looked at the front page title: Piercing Mountain. Raja Kint quickly flipped through the book with a gleam in his eyes. This was a sky-stage spear art to go along with the spear. Raja Kint stored the two items inside his father’s ring.
The Chieftain chuckled, “You’ve been with us for quite some time now. I would assume you wish to leave?”
Raja Kint nodded his head, “I have to continue becoming stronger. It won’t be the last we meet. Still, the inheritance I’ll be back for.”
The Chieftain nodded his head as he asked. “Before you go can you write down all you know about the mortal step?”
Raja Kint smiled, “Of course.”
