Raja Kint, Kyoot Kint and the woman were currently heading toward the hut.
“How long was I asleep for?” asked Raja Kint.
Kyoot Kint replied, “Three days.”
Raja Kint was shocked as he furrowed his brows. They reached the hut and the three went to their usual positions.
“Come to me with whatever array questions you have. Of course, you two can stay as long as you like,” the woman warmly said.
The two thanked her as they left. The two decided to focus on cultivating until the array competition arrived. Like this seven days quickly went by as a knock sounded out. Raja Kint stood up and walked to his door. Putting away his papers. He opened his cave abode to see his senior sister.
“The competition should be starting soon, let’s head over,” said Kyoot Kint.
Raja Kint nodded his head and the two arrived at the academy’s stadium. When they arrived they noticed other kids already there. The two sat at the top of the seats and Raja Kint closed his eyes.
A voice sounded, “You must be the two from the Kint Academy. Heh, it’s nice to meet you both.”
Kyoot Kint kindly replied to the boy and talked for a bit. Raja Kint simply kept his eyes closed while listening. Not soon after, other kids came over to talk to the two. Many were displeased with Raja Kint’s attitude of nonchalance toward them.
He was a visitor to their academy but he didn’t even spare them a glance. A girl in the outer ki realm seventh stage appeared. She had the highest cultivation amongst the group. When she tried to get Raja Kint to talk he still wouldn’t reply. Anger appeared on her face as she used choice words toward Raja Kint.
Kyoot Kint didn’t back down and instead protected Raja Kint. In just a few sentences the situation was about to boil over when Raja Kint finally spoke.
“You’re too noisy.”
The girl was shocked as those behind her thought they heard wrong. After all, who would be this arrogant in someone else’s territory? Soon another voice sounded from below.
“Hey, leave them be for now. Us arrayists are looking to improve through spars later. So everyone needs to be at their full strength.” The arrayist eighth stage boy looked over the group of people.
The girl gritted her teeth but walked off in the end with the rest of the group. The boy walked up the stairs.
“Don’t mind them, they’re from the martial and pill divisions. Anyways, we’ll be starting in about two hours.”
Kyoot Kint replied, “Thanks, I was starting to worry about what to do.”
“Haha, they wouldn’t have touched you with me around. I hold enough weight as the Head Array Disciple.”
“Oh,” said Kyoot Kint with a slight chuckle. “I was nervous for that group. My junior brother here is also a very strong martial artist as well.”
The boy looked at Raja Kint enjoying the weather. Underneath the black coat, the reflection from the snow showed his attractive facial features.
“A guy of many talents eh? Which is he stronger in?”
Kyoot Kint thought but even after a few minutes she could only helplessly shake her head. “I have no clue. I’ve never actually seen him seriously fight anyone.”
“Can’t you just pair him against someone strong to see?”
Kyoot Kint helplessly smiled, “It’s not so simple with him. He’s talented.”
The two talked a bit longer before the boy left. With no one else around Kyoot Kint looked at the view before her. The sun was shining down, reflecting off of the snow creating a vibrant scene.
Two hours silently passed when a voice sounded out.

“Alright everyone, we can begin the competition now. I want everyone participating to come down to the outside of the stage.”
Raja Kint opened his eyes to see the Head Array Disciple as the one who spoke. Next to him stood the woman and a few other limbo realms. Kyoot Kint began walking down and Raja Kint followed. Besides the few limbo realms, he noticed many students present. Including a girl who seemed to be glaring at him. Must be the noisy one from earlier. She was seriously interrupting my moment.
Soon Raja Kint and Kyoot Kint reached the bottom with 13 other students. With the two of them it totaled 15. The Head Array Disciple hopped down as well totaling 16 students for the competition. Raja Kint watched the elders sit in a corner of the stadium.
The Head Array Disciple said, “This will be four rounds. The elders will pick a random name written on paper from the cup in front of them. And that person will pick their opponent. Also, nobody will fight twice in a round.” He turned toward the elders and said, “We’re ready.”
An older man reached into the cup and called out a name. The person called was a young man with sharp eyes at the sixth stage. He challenged another boy and the two went on stage. Set up their formations and dueled. Raja Kint was a bit bored watching them so he sat down and closed his eyes. After a while a victor was declared and the next drawing occurred. This time Kyoot Kint was challenged by another seventh stage girl. Raja Kint opened his eyes curious to his senior sister’s strength.
Kyoot Kint was quicker to finish her array and sat down. A few breaths later her opponent also finished. They lit up their arrays and Kyoot Kint formed a sword made of ki. While her opponent formed a spear made of ki.
The ki weapons clashed causing some ki to disperse outward. The weapons drew lines as they clashed multiple times. On the ninth clash, the ki spear lost a lot of ki as the girl’s face became pale. Kyoot Kint didn’t let up as her sword slashed down. The spear tried to defend as it flew forward. Once contact was made the spear completely dispersed as the sword continued forward.
The elder said, “The winner has been decided.”
The sword stops inches from the girl as she sighs. She cupped her hands. “Sister is truly amazing with arrays.”
Kyoot Kint cupped her hands in return before sitting down beside Raja Kint. Many students began discussing as the girl who just lost was the third strongest arrayist in their school.
“You did amazing, truly a performance worthy of my senior sister,” Raja Kint smilingly said.
Kyoot Kint chuckled, “You have to show a good performance as well.”
“Of course.”
“Raja Kint,” an elder said.
Raja Kint stood up and pointed toward a sixth-stage boy. The two went onto the stage and the boy began crafting his array. Raja Kint thought for a moment. He could do a simple array like his senior sister or he could use a limbo realm array. In the end, he decided to use a more basic array. After all, he was confident that his array skills were probably unrivaled beneath the limbo realm.
After a few moments, the boys were ready. A ki spear appeared above Raja Kint as a ki saber appeared above his opponent.
The woman at the side was in relief seeing his array. His green ki is weird but luckily it won’t be an issue unless he uses his own ki for the array. And he won’t be capable of that until the limbo realm. The two weapons sped toward each other as a collision sounded. Everyone watched as the saber lost half its size and the spear quickly switched attacks from a thrust to a sweep. Destroying the saber in two moves.
The elders announced that a winner was decided. Raja Kint hopping down with a smile directed toward Kyoot Kint.
“Showoff.” She pouted while looking away from him.
The entire audience was shocked by the dominance and even the elders looked at him a bit more closely. The rest of the matches went and the first round was over in an hour.
The head disciple said, “Is everyone fine to start the second round immediately?”
Of the eight remaining contestants, three of them wanted more time. So the Head Array Disciple decided on twenty minutes with the three kids. After twenty minutes the competition continued. In the first round, the seventh stage boy who participated in drawing a line won. After him Kyoot Kint won and then Raja Kint’s turn came. He challenged one of the other two sixth-stage cultivators.
When this clash began his opponent used a ki whip as he used a spear. The whip wrapped around the spear trying to slowly strangle the ki from it. Raja Kint didn’t care as his spear thrust toward his opponent. In no time it pricked his opponent’s forehead as a line of blood appeared down the middle of his face. He was horrified as the elders announced the conclusion.
Raja Kint hopped down as the Head Array Disciple and the other sixth stage girl walked up. The fight was completely one-sided like all the other fights from this round.
“Are you all good to go?” the Head Array Disciple asked.
The three nodded their heads as the drawing commenced. The first name was the Head Array Disciple and he chose to face Kyoot Kint.
The two walked on stage and glanced at each other.
“Do you want to compete with ordinary arrays? Or do you want to compete with our current knowledge of limbo arrays?” asked the Head Array Disciple.
Kyoot Kint was shocked, “How do you know?”
“Isn’t it normal for those in the late outer ki realm to begin learning a limbo stage array?” he said with a smile.
Kyoot Kint nodded her head in understanding and replied, “Then we’ll do this with our limbo array insights.”
