Raja Kint raised his left hand and drew in earth law. Then he thrust his left hand forward to face the fireball. When the man saw Raja Kint raise his hand he thought this could be his lucky chance and quickly moved in.
The fireball reached Raja Kint’s hand and instead of burning his entire arm. It sizzled out in his hand until only a few embers fell onto the ground. The only evidence of a fireball was the scorch marks on Raja Kint’s hand. Marks that would be healed within a day.
The man’s mouth slightly opened in astonishment, his eyes widening in fear. When Raja Kint took a step toward him. His face scrunched up as he charged forth.
Raja Kint watched the man charge forth, coming toward his death. “A last spurt before death. Fine by me.” A smirk crept up Raja Kint’s face as he charged forward too. The man vertically slashed his sword as Raja Kint thrust his sword.
“Clang!”
The sword cracked in half and the man’s face paled as the spear continued forward. Piercing through his left chest.
“Tsk.” Raja Kint scrunched his face in anger at missing. Because of the sword his spear was sent off the mark.
The man looked at Raja Kint with wrathful eyes. “Hehe, you think the world is sunshine and rainbows? Will you kill all who you believe to do wrong? I’ll tell you now-” The man’s eyes widened as a golden tip exited the top of his head.
“I didn’t come here for you to talk me to death. I came for blood.” Raja Kint stomped his left leg on the man’s head as he pulled his spear out. He looked over the crowd that came. Seeing nobody willing to come forward he walked out of the building. Leaving the spear he had thrown as it no longer had a use. When he neared the crowd they split into two. Giving Raja Kint space to freely walk.
Raja Kint walked past the crowd and left a sentence behind. “Destroy the wanted pictures of all those who escaped the coliseum or I’ll be back.” The people looked at each other. Then some began fighting for control of the town. Others simply wanted to spread the news.
Raja Kint walked, walked, and walked some more. Until he found himself at a familiar location. Under the darkening cloak of the sky stood a simple cabin. He approached the cabin and opened the door. He closed the door and crumpled to the floor in sleep.
In the side room. Enyo Kint’s soul opened his eyes, peering through the wall to see his son. Bloody, tired and alone.
“Haa,” sighed his father, “This is the only way.” When he was about to close his eyes again. His head jerked upward and he looked at Raja Kint even closer. Gazing into his body he saw a mass of will locked behind chains. His eyes narrowed as he inspected the chains. It could only be her work. Who else could get into his mind? And why is his will so strong? This is enough to put pressure on his body. But, that pressure also comes with perks if done right. His eyes glanced down momentarily. I’ll leave it as is for now. Softly closing his eyes.
Sunlight shined through the windows, waking Raja Kint up. He stretched for a moment before standing up. He looked down at his clothes and sighed to himself. I gotta get this blood off before I return. He also noticed something different in his mentality. Am I… enjoying the killing? He shook his head and went toward the front door to leave.
A deep voice echoed out, “Leaving so soon?”
Raja Kint stopped and looked toward the voice’s location. He walked over and opened the door. On the wooden table sat his father’s soul in the same lotus position from before. Raja Kint raised an eyebrow. Did he move at all?
“Your mother sealed your will,” stated Enyo Kint.
Raja Kint replied, “Mother isn’t here so how can she do that?”
Enyo Kint stayed still as if he was never asked a question.
“Well, I’m thinking of staying here to breakthrough into the late outer ki realm then leave.” Raja Kint pauses as he briefly looks upward. “I’m not sure I’ll be back before limbo reborn.”
Enyo Kint waved his hand as a scroll appeared. The scroll flew toward Raja Kint and landed in his hands. Raja Kint tried to open the scroll only to find out he couldn’t. He quietly grumbled before stashing the scroll in his father’s ring.
“Tell me about your experiences so far,” says Enyo Kint with a tranquil face.
Raja Kint took a moment to gather his thoughts. He then sat down inside the room and began.

“Well, first I got captured and thrown into some coliseum.” Raja Kint paused waiting for a reaction. Enyo Kint’s face was as still as steel.
“After arranging a breakout brought on by me. I traveled to a local academy and passed the entrance exams there. They were quite easy. The interesting part is that I stumbled upon a tribe while out on a mission. There are actually multiple tribes and they’re descendents of a failed heaven defier. Now they can’t even use the heavens to cultivate. Only the earth ki. I was even present and helped them find a path to the limbo realm. Now there’s an inheritance that will eventually open up and I’m guaranteed a spot. I also made leaps in my cultivation. I was able to cultivate a tenth stage to the inner ki realm by incorporating ki into my body so that underneath the limbo realm I’m unbeatable. I also comprehended a law and essence. The earth law to be specific and the essence was related to the stars. Although, advancing is difficult.” His shoulder slumped on the last line.
Enyo Kint’s face never changed.
“I’m an array novice too. So I would say I’m not doing too bad for myself.”
Enyo Kint said, “Your brother was in the limbo realm before he turned ten. Don’t be too proud and continue to earnestly work.”
Raja Kint's lips formed an upside-down U with drooped eyelids. “He was born with a special body. I had to work for all my strength.”
“You think he isn’t working as hard if not harder with such an advantage?”
Raja Kint’s face straightened out as his eyes narrowed. “We’ll see who’s stronger when we meet again.”
“Show me your law.”
Raja Kint began gathering the earth law toward his hand.
“Stop. If it’s only the amorphous stage then you should’ve said so. This is nothing to be happy about. Can you show me your essence?” Asked Enyo Kint with the corner of his lips turned up.
Raja Kint angrily said, “What do you expect? I’m not even a limbo realm still. Heck, I’ve not even met another beneath limbo realm who has comprehended law besides the old man at the tribe.”
“Why measure yourself by this world’s standard? Could it live up to the standard of dao realm descendants?”
Raja Kint's lips moved but couldn’t form a sound.
Enyo Kint continued, “Do you understand why the realm of laws is broken into amorphous, manifest and law sight?”
Raja Kint replied, “I don’t know much about laws besides what I learned naturally. After I was teleported.”
Enyo Kint replies, “Hmm. Well, let’s give you an overall look. Laws have three realms. From bottom to top they’re worldly, realmly, and planely. They correspond to the worlds within a realm. And the realms within a plane. Understand?”
Raja Kint nodded his head. “Why do laws take after those names?”
“Worlds are the smallest figure of the three. Hence the laws are weakest there. Realms are larger than worlds calling for stronger laws to exist. Therefore…” He looked at Raja Kint.
Raja Kint mumbled, “Planes are bigger than realms and require an even stronger law.”
Enyo Kint nodded his head. “Let’s talk from the perspective of world laws now. World laws hold three stages: amorphous, manifest, law sight. Amorphous is when you’ve touched upon a law. This ‘touching upon a law’ can be stretched out creating a gap in strengths just within the first stage. You’ve only reached the manifest stage when you can manifest the actual law. And then there’s of course the law sight. The number of people who reach law sight is slim. But, anyone with law sight can see the nature of laws for the realm they’ve comprehended.”
Enyo Kint paused for Raja Kint to digest the information. Raja Kint looked to the left as he went through the information in his head. “If law sight is slim then how do people go up a realm?”
“Simple, comprehend the law at least to the lowest stage of a higher realm. If you’re at worldly manifest and comprehend realmly amorphous. Then you’ve essentially gone up. Remember that tackling laws of a higher realm is simply impossible. The laws are fundamentally stronger. The same goes for differences between stages,” said Enyo Kint.
Raja Kint nodded his head. “What does ‘nature of the law’ mean?”
Enyo Kint slightly smiled, “That’s something for you to experience. Some things simply can’t be taught.”
“Hmm, there’s so much to the world of laws. Does that mean brother law body has laws in a specific law realm too?” asked Raja Kint.
“Indeed. His body has planely space law.”
“Born at the top.”
“No, there are stronger bodies. He could’ve had a space essence body or space dao body.” Enyo Kint said with a smile while looking upward.
“That’s like cheating,” grumbled Raja Kint.
“Haha!” Enyo Kint laughed boisterously.
Shocking Raja Kint, when does his father laugh like this?
Enyo Kint said, “The heavens are indeed unfair to us. We are merely pawns in the heavens game of chess. Yet, we fight to become stronger. This is the verve of cultivators. We fight against everything including the heavens for our goals.”
Raja Kint’s blood was pumping through his body. His heart itching to cultivate some more to reach his own goals.
Enyo Kint noticed his son’s state of fervor. “Good, as long as your blood pumps you will always have a chance.”
Raja Kint’s left eyebrow rose as he spoke, “A chance?” While eyeing his father’s soul devoid of blood. Enyo Kint furrowed his brows, leaning forward as his eyes narrowed into slits toward his son. Raja Kint looked away as if he said nothing.
Enyo Kint straightened himself back out. “Let’s finish up the law talk.”
