Chapter 85 – Soul Resonance (Part 2)
A blinding light came from Corhylis as it transform, it then changes into a pair of white metallic gloves that gives of an aura of light on Nelus’ hands… he then opens and closes his hand to examine it, he then used God’s Eyes to determine whether there was a change in it.
Celestial Gauntlets , Corhylis (Form Up – version) Type:Sword (Gauntlets), Mana WeaponDurability:?? / ??Quality:X(Y)A sword that has yet to show its true potential. It needs an extreme amount of mana to be used; if a mortal uses it they will be forever void of mana as long as they are contracted to it. Signature mana weapon made by ??? and given to Nebulus as a present. One of the existing X rank weapons that can form up and in exchange for its use, the user must give an extremely large amount of mana.

As Nelus closes in on Equinox he swung his fist, as did Equinox as the two collide while Equinox gritted his teeth as it seems like he was being pushed back. Equinox then kicks Nelus as he intercepts it by grabbing onto it as he swung his whole body, intending to smash Equinox into the ground. By now, Equinox had already predicted this style of attack as he closes onto the floor, he raises his palm and focused his strength, palm thrusting the ground as he stopped abruptly… he used his hand to stop the momentum.
Eqionox: Let me have my revenge!!
Equinox shouted as he tries to return to Nelus body as he became anxious. He felt that Nelus’ soul was whole again, meaning… he can’t return to his body so the only choice now was defeating Nelus and do a complete take over by destroying the piece of Llyra soul before it completely synchronizes with their soul. Llyra, in Lina’s body then appeared as she gathered mana and converts it to ice… she then uses a spell… Equinox was then encased in ice…
Nelus: (She used… Absolute Zero…)
Nelus inwardly said as he looks at the spell in front of him as he suddenly twitched…
???: I like these stories, so the hero managed to slay the evil lich… say… what kind of spells can you use?
Nebulus: (Hmm? Where am I… who is this man in front of me? He looks just like me except for the red eyes and brown hair… also girls voice is coming from me… what is this, a vision?)
???: Look… this spell is my favorite, it was the first spell I have used… Lightning Force.
He said as the mana around him gathers and is converted to lightning, cloud like mist appears in the air as it wraps around his arm forming a glove like shape as lightning static forth… it was exactly like Nelus except a little weaker…
???: As for me, I can use a unique ice magic!! Instead of frozen, glacial, frost, ice and etcetera… mine has zero! Absolute Zero!
She said as large dense ice appeared instantly to where she had cast as it freezes whatever comes its path…
???: Ohh! Amazing, it has so much power.
???: Impressed? It seems only I have this kind of attribute to all mana users.
The man laughed as he gently looks at her with gentle eyes…
???: Wh-what are you doing, looking at me like that Nebulus…
Nelus: (Nebulus… so this is me? Who am I talking too… who is this… I thought I was just born this way, I mean I am just a spontaneous… when I was told because of my birth of being Y rank, he said that weirdly I was already an adult when I was born… this man seems a bit younger looking than me… also… can I smile as sincere as that?)
Nebulus: How cute, blushing like that, Llyra.
Nelus: (That name… why does my chest feel so painful whenever I hear it… there is a vague feeling that someone has told this name to me before… unique magic… does that mean she is…)
Suddenly, tears fell from Nelus; face as he look towards Llyra as she flinched…
Llyra: That gaze…
Then, the ice that encased Equinox shook as the ice started to crack, it then shatters to pieces as the large one was taken by him and threw it to Llyra with a little coating of darkness around it.
Llyra: Ehh… Nebulus!!??
As Llyra was completely open as she stares at Nelus, he sensed the incoming magic and blocks it with his right hand as it passes through it while some of the blood drips onto Llyra. She then… snapped… she is in a way a War goddess after all… so what happened next was…
Equinox: Tch! Hmph! At least I manage to wound you.
Nebulus then felt a chill on his spine as he looks at Llyra… the three figures appeared again behind her… and all of them were angry… her hair was starting to sway by the fluctuation of her emotion as even though there is a smile on her face she was definitely not happy. An air of violence appeared around them appeared just like when Nelus first saw Lina… it was as if their souls resonated with each other.
Lina#2: You hurt uncle!!
Lina: I finally met Nebulus again and this bastard dares…
Llyra: Even if you look like him… for you to keep pestering my husband… die… no… just disappear…
Originally there was only one soul living in Lina and as time passed Nelus didn’t notice that there was in fact two before Llyra entered. Their memories were separated as well as the soul, just like Altan’s twin soul phenomenon. Llyra then summons a large hammer as it then touches the ground, at the ground became obliterated just with a mere touch… Equinox slightly paled as a bit of fear was felt but was immediately dispelled as Equinox used God’s Eyes…
Revolution Great Hammer , Marksa Type:Hammer, Mana WeaponDurability:?? / ??Quality:XAn enormous hammer that was made by a Blacksmith God Emperor given to the lineage of War Gods. It contains tyrannical strength and will show its true power once the user has reached God King. It was first used by the Blacksmith God Emperor to make Heavenly weapons, Mana weapons, Relic weapons and many others as it can easily do so due to its unique ability Defense Ignore. Since the rule of Parxas began and the law of Y rank weapons being banned due to overflow of unnatural God Kings he had no use of it anymore as it can either be used to make Y rank weapons or for battle. This weapon was an X rank weapon with form up so it was not banned, so he gave it to his friend the God King of War, Yequitus.

Equinox: What kind of absurd weapon is this!?
Equinox said as he took a step back. Llyra then appeared near him as she swung the huge hammer as Equinox quickly cast Spatial Barrier. It then hits the barrier as it shook before it passes through it while making Equinox block forcibly. It then crashes into his arm as he was blown away.

Equinox: My arm… kuhh…
He said as it was torn up as it then turn to black dust… as Llyra approaches fast to make another swing he disappeared and appeared near Folia…
Folia: Ehh…
Equinox: This form is getting unstable, that woman’s attack is too destructive… if this goes on… (At least I need to kill those important to him for insurance…)
Equinox then had an evil smile behind his mask as darkness started to gather on his palm as he points it towards Folia… Folia then thought to use Chaos Road but if she does… the bodies of the others will be devoured again… she had no choice but to sacrifice herself and used all her remaining mana to prolong the Chaos Road spell around them and hope for Nelus to save them… when suddenly, Nelus appeared with his silver eyes in front of Equinox using, Divine Combat Style: Stance 9, Flash Assault. His eyes glowed while as mana was gathering around him… Nelus closes his eyes as he breathes in and sensed a feeling quite peculiar as the mana around him converts to… light!!
Equinox: Light magic… even though our aptitudes in Light and Darkness is extremely high… for as far as I can remember we couldn’t cast either of it… only low class light magic… so how can…
Nelus then rushed towards him and gathers light onto his pair of gauntlets as it forms a glove like shape with two crossed rings of light flowing around it as a pair of wings made of light emerged on it… he punches Equinox as the wings grew larger while the rings revolved fiercely as the light pierces through him piercing a hole near his stomach as some parts of it turn to black ash…
Equinox: Aaarrgghh… this explains why I can use dark magic…
Equinox was still calm as he couldn’t afford killing Nelus for a certain reason as he then heads towards Nelus to subdue him as he used Nox Force. He then punches Nelus as Nelus blocks it with one of the enlarged wings on his left as it closes forming a shield while on his right formed into two pronged blades… Nelus then slashes at him as Equinox blocks with his darkness clad hand as he feels it slowly piercing through… he then felt that this in front of him was no longer a mana weapon but a manaformed weapon with a capability of both a mana weapon and element weapon!
Equinox: Kuhh… I am in quite in a disadvantage here…
On Llyra’s side moments before Nelus takes over…
Folia: Hahh… I am… losing too much mana… hahh… I can’t ho… ld… it… much… long…er…
Seeing this predicament, Llyra stopped and looks at Nelus as well as Folia while gazing at the frozen people as he nodded slightly while she look with a baffled expression to how he understood all of it completely as Llyra had heartwarming smile on her face in which seeing this, Nelus had a faint red tint on his face in which he didn’t notice as Llyra grinned. It was their connection of being husband and wife, even though so much time has passed, it was still etched deep into Nelus’ consciousness…
She then started to go near the frozen people and used one of the Godlike skill of the hammer, Obliteration, as it has the power to obliterate the energy or in this case, mana as it makes contact and shatters both Chaos Road and the strange spell they were under.
Rezald: What… why are there two Bro Nelus…? Also Lord Genbalt was…
Rezald said as he lowers his head while trembling… it was because of Genbalt that his suicide didn’t work after all and right now, all he can do is watch... he was completely helpless… Cellux then grabbed his shoulder as Rezald nodded, understanding that it must be the same for him. Lexa as well as Riseos and Trigus rushed towards Folia as they saw her panting while trying hard to keep her balance as they support her…
Folia: Hahh… hahh… you brats… good to see you are all alive…
Folia said as the three as well as the other beings of darkness teared up as it seems like even when frozen, their senses weren’t and saw Folia’s determination to save them, they felt the extreme pain when getting devoured so when they saw her used Chaos Road on only them and left herself to be slowly eaten by that darkness, they understood her pain and were furious at Equinox.
Riseos: Let us teach that guy a lesson!! I don’t care even if he is a God!
Trigus: Yeah! Let’s kill him…
Riseos and Trigus said as the soldiers of darkness and light readied their weapons as Folia signals Lexa to…
Riseos: Aaagghhh!!
Trigus: Gaappa!!
Lexa punched the back of their head as they shouted in pain and rubs it as Folia then said while grinning.
Folia: Idiot! Just let us Gods handle this; children should just leave their parent to handle things like this. Bow to me my child servants.
Folia then stands up as all of them bowed while Lexa stood behind her, Folia then approaches Riseos and Trigus as she ruffle their heads and smiled mischievously as they felt their hearts soften.
Folia: Don’t get angry for my sake, I wanted to protect you all.
Riseos and the others then smiled too… at least until Folia said…
Folia: But there still a punishment for you guys once we get back.
Llyra was watching all of this as she decided to protect them at least until Folia recovers as her gaze swept towards Nelus.
On Nelus’ side…
Equinox had a sour face as it seems like he was constantly being pushed back…
Equinox: (How can I possibly… ohh?)
Equinox then sees a certain something as he rushes towards it… it was a person… more exactly, it was someone Nelus had once met… it was Geran, holding his bone scythe while frozen in place… it seems the war has attracted him. Seeing the scythe, equinox was delighted and said…
Equinox: A natural weapon!! A weapon born from a magical beast, this has quite the high caliber as well as it has a dark attribute, how convenient!
Equinox then plunges his hand into Geran, the Blood Reaper’s chest and took out its soul as he imbues his mana into it as it and forced it into the scythe as it slightly transforms… he then used God’s Eyes on it.
Dark Blood Bone Scythe, ViltalaType:Bone Scythe, Mana WeaponDurability:?? / ??Quality:XA scythe once created from a blood reaper. In a normal circumstance it is almost impossible to attain its weapon as the blood reaper needs to sacrifice its soul in order to give it's weapon and normally before it dies it devours it's own soul. Eternal Darkness Equinox, had successfully gained the bone scythe which wields mysterious powers of the darkness as it comes from a dark element, mythical tier magical beast.

Equinox: So he was near peak of X rank, how REALLY convenient, it has Form Up.
Equinox said as he grinned.

I must finish paart 3 later this day… I just hope I can then I can focus on the preparation of my story, it is almost done.
I just cah't let my emblems pile up too much, I want to release 3 chapters if I can... DX
