Dae: What? Are you not going to say anything?

Dae said as he started drooling, with ecstasy in his eyes.

Nelus: Which is the real one… the one inside the ball or you?

Dae: I’m not tel-ling! Heh.

I remain speechless. He started to lick the neck of Zala while fondling her chest completely ignoring me. Zala’s face distorts in disgust while tears formed, slowly falling from her cheeks. She then looks at me, obviously asking for help despite her usual gallant demeanor.

Nelus: Give her to me.

Dae: Hah!? You’re still here? So annoying… go away!

Nelus: No.

Dae: I said go away!!! How much do you think such a potent paralyzing potion cost!?

Nelus: I don’t care… put Zala down.

Dae: Gggrraaaahhh!! I was planning on enjoying her before I add her to my collection! Hahh… oh well.

Dae grinned as he summons a black dagger. He points the dagger towards Zala’s left chest as he tries to stab her. Immediately I used "Divine Combat Style: Stance 9, Flash Assault" as I disappeared from my initial position leaving an afterimage and reappeared to his side while grabbing his arm. I used God’s Eyes at the dagger.

Using it, he controlled all the people that he can use for his advantage whether it was women, men, his enemies or friends. One day, he found a woman. She was perfect in every way. He wanted her to be his at all cost so he used the dagger to try and manipulate her. Not only was her beauty otherworldly, even herself was otherworldly. She grabs the dagger with her seemingly delicate hands and crushed it while sealing it. All those in his spell were freed and they all decided to torture him before killing him. In his end he made a distorted smile as ecstasy filled him. This is what he wanted all along… for someone to kill him out of love…

Calice: (You called Lord Nelus?)

Nelus: (Can you protect Zala’s mind. I know that it can’t affect me because of you as well as my inital mentality, but Zala isn’t as protected as me…)

Calice: (As you wish! Hello?)

Zala: (Eh? Where is this voice coming from?)

Calice: (I’m Calice a spirit ruler.)

Zala: (A-a spririt ruler? Are you perhaps…)

Calice: (I am Lord Nelus wife!)

Zala's mind became a blank not comprehending what she said it was just too sudden as well as considering the situation having no time to think.

Calice: (Lord Nelus asked me to protect you.)

Zala: (…)

Dae: Let go of me!

While Dae was shouting for me to release him. A few needle came flying out from the dagger piercing me and Zala. He then laughed with a large grin on his face.

Dae: Hahahha!!! Now you’re both in my control! Now… kill yourself!

Nelus: No.

Dae: Wha… I said KILL YOURSELF!!

Nelus: I don’t want to.

Dae: Why isn’t it working! Fine! Zala, rise and kill him.

Zala: …

Dae: Nothing is happening!

I then use lightning force on my hand and punched his stomach. A burst of electrical energy was rotating around my fist and bursts as he flew meters away while convulsing wildly due to the amount of electricity that had entered his body. As he flew, he lets go of Zala as I then catches her.

Nelus: Stay here…

Zala: Al… right…

I put her down while casting a around her to protect her just in case. Dae stands up, he staggers as his eyes’ vein started pulsating. He looks at Zala and calms down while Zala looks at him with dread. He staggers towards her as she trembles. When he got close he noticed that there is something that was obstructing him. He was enraged and looks at me with blood flowing out from his eyes.

Dae: Why are you always getting on my way!!!

He dashes towards me with great speed as he then grasps the dagger with both of his hands. I tried to concentrate as I need to both fight and maintain the barrier around Zala at the same time. I easily predicted his line of attacks as he was just stabbing and slicing wildly.

Nelus: With that amount of skill, I doubt you could even hit me.

Dae: Ggggrrrrr!!!! Stay still!

Nelus: Why would I? Who’s stupid enough to do that.

Dae: Shut up, shut up, SHUT UUUPPPPP!!!!!

Calice: (My, my, Lord Nelus I didn’t think you were someone who plays with your opponents… I like it…)

Calice said as she licks her lips seductively while giggling.

Nelus: (I am not playing with him… he is still hiding something… and I am forcing him to reveal all of it so that I could ready some counter measures. It can’t hurt to be careful.)

Calice: (Now that is the Lord Nelus that I know of.)

Nelus: (…)

As I continue to either dodge or block his strikes, he was getting sluggish. I sighed as I grabbed his stomach and lifts him up. He tries to struggle from my grip while electricity continues to flow into him. He slashes at my arm but it barely left a scratch. He becomes more and more wild as he then glares at me with incredible amount of killing intent.

Dae: YOU FORCED ME TO USE IT! ITS NOT MY FAULT! FATHER SAID I AM FORBIDDEN TO USE IT UNTIL HE SAY SO! ITS YOUR FAULT! ITS YOUR FAULT! ITS YOUR FAAAUUULLLLTTT!!!!

His eyes then rolled back exposing only its whites. Suddenly, it turns black as he grins. I threw him as quickly as possible as a black explosion occurred just a feet away from me. I was pushed back a little while my arms were crossed in front of me to blocked the attack. My clothing was in tatters. I then became disappointed as it was a present from Ciall and it didn’t even last for a day.

His form becomes monstrous as his previously scaly wings slowly becomes a deep dark color. He had horns protruding from his head while his wings became jet black. He smiles at me mockingly. I could then sense both the light and darkness element within him. It wasn’t like the Necromancer from before which is only capable of using light and darkness based spell. In front of me is a literal light and darkness being. I could slowly feel that his is weakening but at a slow rate.

Right now its powers equal a X rank. Black Smoke envelops him as he suddenly disappears. He then appeared in front of me and tries to stab his horns towards me. I grabbed his horns while being pushed back. He then smashes me to the ground but before I hit it, I used to cushion my fall. As I hit the ground I stood up immediately while the armor dissipates.

I then tried to find its weakness just in case I might encounter others like him. If lightning was ineffective I tried something else. I shouldn’t let them know of my metallic weapon as I somehow felt being watched… Ciall said that at all cost I should hide most of my powers when someone other than the angels are present as it would cost trouble like for example is that they will try to get me to their side and some, if they see me as a threat will try to kill me at all cost.

Wind started to gather on my palm as I then chop downwards as a large wind blade headed towards him. He slices it with his claws as he rushes towards me, what I used was the spell, . Light continues to gather as it distorts into smaller bits, I could feel that he is converting the energy. Zala seeing this trembles as fear invades her mind. She looks at me worriedly as I then look at her without fear in my eyes. Somehow it calms her down as Dae threw the ball of light towards me, it was the spell . I knew that with his current power it would blow away the palace and many will be injured as some may die. I know that my can only be activate around someone so I made a choice.

As the distorted ball of light approaches me I once again used my , when it made contact with my palm, I press it down with both of my lightning clad hands. A huge explosion occurred within the barrier as Dae laugh maniacally, Zala started crying while gritting her teeth.

Dae: Hahahahahahahha!!! How stupid of you! And you called me stupid! Ahahahaa!

Zala: Y-y-you monster!!!

Dae: I am a monster and I love being one. Power is everything!! Don’t you see! Zala you too will become my toy soon…

As despair filled Zala, Dae approaches her. As he tries to reach towards her, the invisible barrier was still there.

Dae: What how can this be!? Unless…

He looks towards my direction, my upper clothes were totally gone while only bruises were visible on my body. Seeing this, Zala’s face became flustered then looks away. Cold sweat started to form on his face. He finally noticed that he was trembling… but since when did he start trembling. He finally noticed that it was since the start… He looks at me with utter terror not knowing the reason why.

At first he didn’t notice because I was being lenient. I decided to let him go at first but he tried to kill Zala so I decided to at least teach him a lesson. But for him to try to involve those who are not, then he shall perish. I started to exude killing intent. Since the time with Atir I notice that something was different… a cracking feeling inside… I don’t know what that feeling is but right now I don’t care.

If wind magic is ineffective I tried water then fire then earth. It seems that only fire and water seems effective against him. As he noticed that his weakness was revealed he panicked. He started gathering the dark element near his mouth as five rings made of darkness stacked in front of him.

Dae: TAKE THIS!!!

A large beam made of pure darkness headed towards me and engulfs me until I was nowhere to be seen. The beam continued for 30 seconds as he stops then pants. A huge crater was clearly visible as large amounts of dust were floating about. He was then relieved that it was finally over. As Zala was tearing up again, she felt a slight tremor. Dae look towards the clouds of dust.

Dae: …Why… why can’t you just die already!!??

Nelus: It is obvious… it is because I can’t.

The air became hotter as the trees around us started burning yet the flames around them were gentle as if it was dancing with the wind. Slowly the flames spread until the trees were engulf in it wholly yet it didn’t burn them. The flames then spread towards the ground. All of the flames were headed towards the same direction, towards the center of the crater.

The dust clears up and Nelus was seen. Searing flames surrounded him as his eyes became partially red. Flames covered his arms forming a glove like figure. Spikes made of flames protrudes from the knuckles as trickling flames spirals around it. It was a new elemental equip … a flame gauntlet type like of that of the elemental equip . Feeling the dominating demeanor exuding from Nelus, he tried to run. As he did, Nelus just walked. No matter how much he ran Nelus was somehow getting closer as if he was being sucked towards him.

When he looked back Nelus was behind him, looking up at him. His whole demeanor change as a cold smile appeared on his face. Dae tried to claw at Nelus as he then grabs it. A crackling sound was heard, it came from his hand. It was burning at a high degree. He tried to free himself but couldn’t so he just severed his arm with his other claw.

Again, he tries to run. Nelus then rushed towards him as he punches him on his side the gauntlet glows as a large explosion of searing flames occurred he was blasted away towards the structure near him. The debris then fell over him, injuring him further. He tried to struggle free from the debris as he noticed Nelus standing in front of him looking down at him. Dread fills his being as he begs for mercy.

Dae: You can’t kill me! I am the second prince of the luminants!

Nelus: ...

Dae: Do you want money!? If so I can get it! Maybe you want women? There are plenty of high quality ones in our kingdom!

Nelus: …

Dae: LISTEN TO ME!!!

I inwardly sighed, then closed my eyes. As Dae thought that I will let him go he felt relieved. As I pulled back my arm for another punch... he trembled… his face became paled as he lost his strength in all parts of his body. As my fist covered in crimson flames, got close, a figure steps in and blocks my punch with one hand… it was the luminant king Halvard. As my fist gain contact with his hand a huge explosion occurred as pure crimson flames scatter about to all direction. Both he and I were pushed back slightly.

Halvard: Can’t you treat my son a little more gently?

Ciall and the others entered the scene and gasped. Everywhere debris was present as my clothes were in tatters but I was only a little bruised. Ciall runs to me as I told him the most important part… that Dae was attempting to kidnap Zala. Zala on the side, inside the barrier nodded as Ciall’s face was brimming with fury. Taking advantage of the situation, Halvard looked surprised as he said.

Halvard: My son!? He dare do such a shameful thing!? Unacceptable! He will therefore be punished as I decree!

All of us became speechless as he ordered the luminant guards to take him away. Dae already went back to his luminant form so they didn’t see his monstrous one. As we go our separate ways I look back, and saw Halvard grin at me, I ignored him and continued walking. Ciall felt helpless, if they would do something reckless, there would be great consequences as they remembered that the luminant king is someone they must not offend at all costs. Zala runs towards me while worriedly asking if I was okay… I said yes as Ciall said…

Ciall: Hahh… and we just made that for you…

Nelus: My apologies for your gift.

Ciall: Luckily, I made three copies of it!

Nelus: …

As I put on a new set of clothing we returned to the ball…
